Music randomly stops playing?
Just converted from CM to PA and absolutely love, but the only gripe is that music randomly stops playing, and I have to go on to the next song to get it working, and it randomly occurs with no set interval, sometimes less than a song-length apart, sometimes 20 minutes apart, etc.
The only instance this ever happens is on Paranoid Android. I've never had the issue on CM nightlies, and I've tried different combinations of Paranoid Android and GApps, which someone stated might have been the issue, but my last attempt was the latest beta with stock signed GApps rather than PA GApps, and the issue is still there, so I'm thinking it's the kernel. Google's brought me to Samsung solutions, some of which I've tried but nothing. Was wondering if this is an outstanding issue or is it just my device.

I'm fairly certain that this is a known bug on this rom.
Running Beta3 without any issues. It's just that the double tap to wake stops working without any reason.
Have rebooted, wiped cache and dilvik cache but still its not working.
Any ideas!!

It was a known issue, but beta 5 is out, no issues

Xposed module called pic2sd or something similar
I've been peeking around XDA for probably around two years now if not longer, and have been running PA on my M8 since Beta 2. I have to say, I love this ROM - so simple, yet so sleek. I don't have any known bugs as of yet for B5 :good: and I look forward to continued updates! Thank you again for all your work!

So when going into floating mode with hangouts it seems to close any app in currently using using beta 5 clean flash any reasons as to why?

Not on PA at the moment so I can't test, but do you have a theme applied? And are you on the PA kernel? I crossed through a random post somewhere where the user deselected his theme and apparently it's been fixed.

Samsung s4 ir functions
My ir functions dont seem to work. Like when I try to use my Phone as a tv remote with apps, it doesnt work. Ive tryed several apps.. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the peel tv remote app, and do you have the stock kernal with the gpe rom?
Is anyone else having LTE signal issues with this ROM in on NH7 I was running Wicked and The Sicknesses before and had great signal on LTE but now I only get one bar maybe two if I'm lucky . Maybe someone could help me out ... I'm on T-Mobile by the way
I installed the Google Play Edition first thing when I purchased my new S4 (about 3-4 weeks ago).
Yesterday, I was having an issue where SMS's would come in, but no text. That's relatively minor. More importantly, the phone is CONSTANTLY rebooting on me. I had to call back my brother at least 5 times in the span of 40 minutes because the phone would reboot in the middle of a call.
Besides flashing the ROM, I have not done any other modifications.
Is there an easy way to switch back to the stock kernel?
I'm getting an infinite boot loop, and I can't start up in recovery mode anymore (the screen shows the Samsung Galaxy S4 logo and then stays black until I let go, then it reboots and shows that logo again and tries and fails to start the ROM)... what can I do to get back into TWRP recovery mode?
@Gadianton just dirty flash over the ROM to get stock kernel back.
A stock kernel zip would be nice. I've made a lot of changes to system apps and everything is updated. Dirty flash will be messy.

Rom works great but I am noticing a considerable loss in Battery life. On my device it is 3 percent per hour. Any solution to this?

Just noticed that the clear all apps button from the recent apps screen is missing. Just a heads up. Also was wondering if this is compatible with xposed.

Read about the battery life thing when 5.0 first came out. I think it may be because when on wifi its constantly making wake up requests.

The 12/13/14 build was a bad build. I had the same issue. I installed the 12/14/14 build and it worked perfect.

If you want Navigation Bar
To get the navigation bar add this "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" to the bottom of your build.prop. Use a file manager that allows root access and a text editor.

Bug Observations
Just clean flashed this rom and everything is working smoothly, but there are two little things that need addressing. First, notifications play through the speaker and headphones when they are plugged in. Second, the battery charge animation in the status bar doesn't work at all.

Just got this screen again.
A couple of questions: any way to disable floating window? Chrome Beta always opens in a window and never in full screen for me. Along the same lines, anyway to reset the preference of swiping to open in a floating window from the notification tray?

Is there a way to increase the Bluetooth transmission? I love that it's working, but if I put the phone in my pocket with my Bluetooth in my ear, it cuts out very easily. I understand it's still early, just curious if anyone had a short term solution, or permanent fix.

Unfortunately no, for now. You can blacklist in app settings but the only thing worked for me was to revert to a prior build of chrome. Apk mirror will help here
Wondering if someone could confirm nfc as working by either using a nfc tag or Google wallet. I've tried everything I can think of but I cannot get nfc going on this. If it is working for you have you done anything special?

Is the window feature global or do you have just an issue with Google Chrome?
Either way look for Halo in the ROM's setting.
Does anyone know of a good replacement for the slow motion camera on the stock rom?

It's a Chrome issue, it's fixed in the Chrome beta version

Is there any way to adjust the notifications on the lockscreen? I can't seem to find it in settings anywhere. I have a few persistent notifications that I'd love to stop from showing up there.

I'm having WiFi issues only at work, it keeps disconnecting and connecting which draining my battery supper fast. I tried disabling the WiFi optimization but it did not work.

Hi everybody, I'm certain new to the Xda forum and I wanna start with a big thanks for the effort of developers of this ROM.
First of all it's been awhile since i frequently read this forum I wont detail since which roms I've tried , of course must be some 2 years ago L
I've tested cyanideL lately but I came back to TB , seems for me much more well quality well finished code!
Nothing major noticed except I struggle to find a fix for netflix. I was really searching and I found this post

which really "bingo" in my device. For those who may try just to let them know netflix works very well in my device with the latest Team UB Cm12-261220014.
The only problem that it really bother me now is the "unfortunately, gallery has stoped" Camera seems to work very well. I ve tried clear, cash the app, I've moved all my DCIM picture on a ext card(pc), I even really clean reflesh the ROM. For first part it worked but then after i installed some other apps form titanium backup....I had the same problem. I really assume now that there is one app that my conflict gallery code....but to be honest i had so many to restore it's an enigma to guess which would be !
If someone would had a clue or encountered the same issue would guide me please!

I just noticed another issue - i couldn't connect my device with chromecast, it looks not supported yet on this cm12 ver yet....lollipop 5.0.2 yet in development..looots of work....
Hello all, I am new at testing Customized ROMS and let me say that this is a great ROM, When the phone had Omni ROM installed began with this issue, when I am charging my phone while it is off, the battery icon animation gets stuck and I cannot turn my phone on, the phone does charge, I did not have this issue on Kit Kat stock for I317, Can somebody help me? Also, is there any way to make proximity sensor to work while making calls? also, is there any way to disable vibration while pressing capacitive buttons?

I just flashed this UB ROM and had the sensor issue. Flashed the above t0lte_sensor_fix.zip and my sensors now work perfectly.
By the way, this ROM is by far THE best t0lte lollipop ROM I've flashed yet.
Great job to the developer.
So far so good 5 hours on and all set up. Switched from W03 Slimkat. Had one force close after the first flash while phone was resting. "...Email" but noticed nothing nor any issues with my Gmail. Thanks

UB-ROM for TOLTE sound issues
Overall very happy with the UB ROM 20150106, however the sound issue, specifically the one relating to bluetooth streaming has gotten worse.
The typical behaviour now is that when phone syncs with the car and music starts, audio fx and google music crashes.

I had this issue and flashed the shift kernel. However after a while, charging did not play nice with it. I am now using the kernel from DU lollipop ROM. It is very fast and has no issues with charging or bluetooth. Just use 7zip to copy the boot.img from the DU zip to the UB zip and flash as normal. You will get a warning asking you if you want to copy and overwrite, just click yes or OK.. This is a fantastic ROM

hello guys, just flashed this sweet lollipop rom, but i noticed that it has no support for s pen. Any recommendations on what app to use or mod? also, i couldn't get the music to stop being soo choppy over bluetooth while screen was off. any help is appreciated, and thanks DEVS for such great work!!!
That's strange, s pen is working on mine. No customizations or 3rd party apps either. Just stock ROM. As for Bluetooth did you try overstuffedcows suggestion of the DU lollipop kernal?
No music output if screen locked?
There is no music output if screen is locked, when a headphone without a microphone is plugged in. I can't hear the music when screen is locked (although music app is still playing the music silently (muted), but when I turn the screen on, the music plays. It seems like the music itself has been playing in the background, because sound is the thing that's muted not the app itself.
Strangely, music plays well when screen is locked when a headphone with a microphone is plugged in.
Is it sort of a bug? I think many will have this kind of problem..

Since update 1/19/15, the proximity sensor does not work
Since update 1/19/15, the proximity sensor does not work. Screen does not turn off during call, and I downloaded some apps to test the sensor and it seems that the sensor does not work at all..
My sensors are still working with 1/19. Try flashing the sensor fix I posted up above??

I don't think it's specific to this ROM. I was on LiquidSmooth before switching to Fusion and I can't connect my Jawbone Up24 with Bluetooth on either one of them. Unfortunately, I don't know what is causing the problem.
Dark theme and Lollipop
I think that, in general, light themes are more interesting for Lollipop. The whole UI (including notifications) is made to work well with light backgrounds. Overhauling everything to make it look nice with dark tones is no small task.
In short, I prefer the light themes for Lollipop based ROMs.
Colours aside, I'm really digging this ROM.
(Ad blocker and wakelock blocker... yes!!)
Smooth and really good battery time. Gonna keep it as my daily driver. Thank you!
Stock music app doesnt work
Hehehe im pretty new to all this rom stuff but theres no errors for me except using this stock music app.. for some reason it doesn't want to play.. my sound works fine. and idk if anybody had the problem with their Data not working(A "!" next their the data bar) go to settings and under data usage click more then click cellular networks. I'm on tmobile (everyone should be with 851) My network selected was T MOBILE US LTE. Switch it to T MOBILE US you should be able to use your phone without wifi and lte will be enabled automatically (if you have it)

Had to revert to 20150111, much more stable.

I don't believe the legal is the issue this nightly is just a bit buggy
tap to wake and sleep function
Really like this rom flashed it last night only issue i have is with the tap to wake and sleep i wish is was more like the stock roms. tapping the status bar to sleep is kinda ...idk and sometimes it doesnt wake if am in a call i have to press the power button.......can this be adjusted in the setting somehow? anyone knows?

development freeze
Was there some sort of development freeze due to theming now being available for CM12
The Problem I have with my camera is that I cannot have the photos saving in my SD Card, any idea?

Prior to the last update, I used to be able to have youtube playing in the background... such as when I was on my home screen. The new update does not allow that. Is this a common issue with others? Any fix? or wait for next update..

FYI, for fans of this particular ROM looking for an updated version BlissPop offers just about all the same customizations even the gesture screen lock and custom navigation buttons. It doesn't have come with the dark default theme but it does have the new CM12 theme support.

I suppose so. Flashing instructions should be in the OP of the ROM. Be sure to do a nandroid backup first of course.
Remember, this is for the D851 only.
Even though it hasn't been updated in awhile it's one of my faves and I keep it installed (I use multirom).
