[Q] Waterproof cases? - Xperia Z3 Compact Accessories

I was just wondering if there were any waterproof cases out for the Z3 Compact?
Or just a waterproof case that fits the dimensions of the Z3C.
Closest I've found is this, which is kinda the thing I'm looking for: Krusell SEaLABox Waterproof Case XL
I want something that fits a bit more snug, though.
I know the phone is waterproof, but I'm going to use it in saltwater

I was thinking about what would happen if I sprayed this on my phone?

Double water protection would be awesome...in theory..

I would say that you can use in salt water as long as you rince it directly after. The main problem with salt will be the headphones connector contacts. As for waterproof cases I don't think you will find one especially made for it.

[Q] Best Protective Cases?

I wanted to know if anyone had a Samsung Galaxy S4 with the Protective Cover Plus with it?
Because, that's the type of case I'm wanted to get for my HTC One M8.
I believe they're called hybrid cases. Where it's both hard plastic with rubber.
I really liked the Protective Cover Plus cases for the GS4 because it really protected the phone well, without being bulky.
It was sleek, and I felt confident in the case, and that it would definitely protect against any drops.
From my research, it looks like this would be something close to what I'm looking for.

Does anyone here have, or know of a case that like the one for the GS4?
Move it to accessories.
check out my youtube channel I've bought a couple case you might find one thats good ex spigen speck and more

Dustproof case anyone?

Does anybody know of a good quality dustproof case for the oneplus 2? I have a lifeproof on my current phone and it seems to do a reasonable job, with lifeproof not being available I'm looking for other options.
How about Tudia Omnix or Poetic Revolution series, can't really vouch for any of this since I'm still waiting for its availability in my country
The issue with those two and the otterbox is the cutouts for the cameras, home button and earpiece speaker.
I used an otterbox on a previous phone and after a few days it was quite badly scratched up from dust inside the case.
I work on a port where iron ore is processed and exported, the dust is very abrasive and there's no shortage of it.
I suppose you could try something like an Otterbox and seal the speaker grill etc. yourself?
That or one of those ugly waterproof bags.

Leather Pouches

Is anyone using leather pouch with their 10?? I never use cases with my phones but I wouldn't mind a good pouch for when I set down the phone.. I've read about Fitbag.. Are they any good? Thanks
Hi there,
I purchased a fit bag leather pouch from Amazon last week and I am quite happy with it. I had other fitbag pouches for my Xperia z1 before and was happy with them as well. The inlaid micro fiber tissue cleans the screen quite well everytime you pull out the phone.
In my opinion the pouch looks really nice. Here is a picture:

The only thing a bit worrysome is the fact that the pouch is still quite thight and I fear that the milled Power Button might tear the micro fiber inlay in the future. In that case though there is a 2 year warranty on the product.

Thank you for your reply. It does look really nice! I might get one of those. I don't want to put a case on my phone..
I've got a fitbag for mine too.
Bit tight at first but it's getting better.

Hmm.. Looks nice. Haven't really bothered with phone bags since early noughties.
The fitbag in your pictures, is that an alcantara fitbag or one of their real leather models?
Seems like real leather, either the Folk or Beat but can't be 100% sure these days so I'll ask anyway

It's the real leather (Nappa) one in black.
I had an Alcantara one for my z1 and I liked it, too.
That one showed a bit of wear at the corners though after two months.
The only feverish one I could find is HTC 10 Case, Leather Case, Pouch, Holster, Wallet Case, Protective Case, Phone Case - Vertical Pouch Case WITHOUT Belt Clips (Black) by Pdair https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01EL6R8Z8/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_y7Goxb8S9DGGB

case suggestion

I should be receiving my new device next week :laugh:and I can't decide what case to pickup.
I use a magnetic phone mount in my car so I will have to put the magnetic plate between my device and the cell phone case. That being said anything with a transparent back is out of the question. If the case has legs it would be ideal as well. I work at a desk all day and I would rather not have it wobbling around if I'm trying to use it while it's on my desk.
I have used a UAG case on my S5 for the past two years and I was very happy with it. Right now I'm considering the TUDIA Slim-Fit HEAVY DUTY [MERGE] Extreme. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Looking for a case as well, and I also use a magnetic mount in my car. I was wondering if, since the phone's back is all metal, do I even need the plate between the case and phone?

That's a good point. I guess we will find out soon enough!
The TUDIA case I mentioned above is a 2 piece case so I was planning on putting the metal place between the two parts of the case that way the metal plate doesn't have to physically touch my device.
Otherwise I'm probably going to at the very least place a small piece of paper between the metal plate and my device to prevent it from scratching the rear of my device.
Aluminum generally isn't magnetic, and I'd be slightly afraid to put a magnet right onto the phone and risk damaging some internals. I'm going with the Spigen Neo Hybrid, and will likely put the plate on the phone itself as well.
I have ordered these two. Always used spigen on my devices. Also ordered a full tempered glass protector. After reading on the protector its compatible with case's. Screenshots attached for easy reference.
Generally I prefer clear case and put some good pictures on the back.
all oneplus3 accesories are compatible just goto oneplus3 forum and check it out

I watched a YouTube video and they made it look like a breeze. But to get it perfect I think would be very difficult and stressful. But when successful it's well worth it in my mind. One imperfection would just flip me out

Let me know if the screen protector fits.
Already have the spigen case, just not sure if it works with the curved screen protector.
I went for OnePlus 3/3T Karbon Case. Really liking it. Also had ebony wood and sandstone case for tests. Ebony wood simply would not fit, however sandstone was very bulky in comparison to Karbon Case + I don't like how the sandstone feels in hand.

I got the ebony case for the 3T and not liking it. It's kind of hard to grip with the case on, sharp edges everywhere. I'm using it without a case now which is much comfortable and grippier. Don't know how much pain it's returning the case back for refund but will try that and look for a different case.

I have a friend who bought and likes the Spigen Neo Hybrid case, and I bought the OtterBox. I personally prefer the OtterBox, but the Neo Hybrid case looks pretty nice too.
Picked up the Cruzerlite Spartan case for my 3T. Got it yesterday and seems like it'll be a good rugged case. It's also not to thick. Get to try it when the phone finally gets here tomorrow.
Edit: posted the onepluse2 case but they do have it for the 3T also.

I usually go without cases but with the camera bump on 3T it makes me too cautious when putting down the phone on the table. Original Karbon Case does not create too much bulk as its quite slim and in the same time it does protect the camera and actually it has bumps on the front (corners) so you can put it face down too and not worry about scratches.
I bought Ringke Fusion. Awesome case. It has nice clicky buttons.

I have my Neo Hybrid in hand, but phone won't be here until tomorrow. I'll try to give impressions/photos.

Accessories TORRAS Shockproof Galaxy Z Fold 4 Case

Another obscenely priced case, but for me, it made the best sense. Spigen makes one almost the same, for a little less, but the Torras looks like it offers a little better bumper support. Another reason I bought this was for the side mounted S-Pen holder. You're able to lie the phone flat, and the lip that the S-Pen holder creates, is great for easy opening and doubles as a handle when the phone is open.

I use the Spigen ThinFit P and Aramid Backcover. I like the Aramidgrip. The Pen must be in the Fold. Without is every Thing a bad Solution.

I couldn't say. I'm sure you can find their measurements somewhere.
I had a Torras case and their defective case put major dents into the midframe bezel of the case causing about $600 worth of damage. Torras support was completely worthless. Highly recommend to avoid that brand.
I have zfold since 3 weeks and i confirm some case are terrible for metal borders, there are particles that get inside... I tried to polish with a cotton ball and car polish, it removed the paint off it became chrome.
