In the first post you can see all the important infomation about what works and what does not work, i'm still testing it. After more than 12hours of use i very heppy with it.
Using Devil kernel now, very good battery time etc.
I think the best way for you to see if it's good for daily use is trying it.
Just read all the first post and all will be fine.
About acquiring network to make calls and send sms it can take some time every boot and when you change network type.
But till now i did not got problem with lost calls and i'm in a very bad area almost with no signal strenght. One more thing about it is that the icon in status bar is always full of signal when you have some even if its low. Still debuging.
Any other question just ask.

Not Yet, i'm working to port it, i'm almost finished just having trouble wth TVout that i in th same app.
But you can try voodoo for now i think is included in some good kernels.

At this moment it's not really working with stock music.
I'm trying to mount EMMC in sdcard so it an be scanned by the apps.
Can you post the differences to Miui 2.1.13 ? What is specialy "your" work?

My work is in first post.
I just grabbed MIUI ICS for Nexus S and i changed some libs, bins, etc so it can work on our SGS.
The chages in apps and that kind of stuff the rest is all MIUI ICS Official

quiet I had already taken place ..... the rom is set forth by me was already published LEAST 2 DAYS FROM. This issue appeared with 3.5.17. (no problems with 3.5.10). You can deactivate SIM security using other ROMS/phone. With security turned off the hot reboot is gone

If you have this problem, this is on asus firmware, i don't play with wifi files and for the kernel, this is the original kernel with mods/addons

yeah, on stock rom with stock kernel there was a such problem too
interesting point is that the cyanogenmod has an option in wifi settings, to chose a wifi region (but stock based roms - doesnt), and 802.11ac worked well, connecting at 292mbps, and i think may be problem in this?
i tried to set some different channels in my router opions, and if i set 128'th channel for example, asus dont even see the spot, at lower channels it says me "authentification problem"

This is a bug with alternative launcher

Wait a full rom, not a patch, for use a patch need reinstall original asus rom, patch, root, extract /system/, reinstall recovery, modify all and install
With full rom, just modify it and install.

I can see the phone screen on the computer, but when I click on it nothing happens.
I have installed 2.20.40.43-V1(apex launcher), works fine no others issues.
If you use Asus PC link, it don't work because i have removed the pclink manager in /system/app/

Have you actually tried that? Because I tried installing SuperSU from the playstore and it threw me an error stating that my phone was missing SU binaries. Not sure what to do (or what I should be flashing) next.
Any help appreciated, otherwise I'll stick with CM where I can enable root from Developer Options.

Yes I have. You can flash this as well if you're not sure how to get root with the app

Ok great thanks, I'll give it another shot.
There should probably be a note in the OP stating that the ROM is not initially rooted with a link to that though, especially considering most of the other ROMs derived from the CM 12.1 build are. I'm sure future newbs (such as myself) stumbling across this ROM wondering where/how to enable root would benefit from that tadbit of left out information

what Is Thus Bugs ?
I know various camera problems have been discussed but I have not seen any solutions. I have Eragon 6.5.1 and I am using the "Open Camera" app as the primary camera (I like it) which is built in to the ROM. My banking app allows me to e-deposit cheques but I find when trying to capture images the autofocus usually does not work. I can sometimes get a clear image by taking a fuzzy shot, then discarding and trying again. The camera is great as a camera but it just seems autofocus refuses to kick in on my banking apps. The banking apps app work like a charm on other phones and it seems I am reduced to using my old phone to do my banking while my shiny new P8000 sits on the desk and watches. Suggestions please.
This is a bug with the kernel version shipped - I forgot to set some flags there. Use my kernel or go back to stock and it will work. This is actually my fault :/

Sorry, I am a little confused, I am on Eragon rom 6.5.1 and kernel is reported by phone as 3.10.65. I previously had the Eragon beta build which included your kernel (dt2w is nice) but I believe the official 6.5.1 has reverted to the stock kernel so therefore I would not experience the third party camera bug would I ? Or does the current Eragon 6.5.1 flash somehow retain the bug, ( I use Philz recovery clean to install new rom function)?

If @skeleton1911 didn't remove it Eragon ships with a custom visi0nary's kernel I compiled for him (and which unfortunately contains a bug I don't have time to fix now...). The original visi0nary's kernel doesn't have this bug though.

Yep. In my latest v6.5.1 Rom i have removed it again because of that bug and fingerprint issue. V6.5.1 has the stock kernel on board.

Yes, my apologies, I had posted the question in the general Q & A section, before I was allowed to post in this section and BlueFlame4 responded today so I thought that it may be some new advice. I will give up on this issue and use my old Riv R55 with the "tiny" 8mp camera that does work for me.
Again, much appreciate your time and the huge effort you put in to this rom.

Thanks for the input, may I ask what banking app you are using ? My camera also focuses pretty well when used as just a camera but the problem is in apps that use the camera for image capturing such as depositing a cheque electronically within a bank app.
