New Battery for Moto G XT1032 - Moto G Accessories

Hi folks,
I have been using Moto G for more than a year and lately i noticed battery is discharging more quickly than before. I am not %100 percent sure of it but it just feels like it. Anyway maybe it is not that essential to change the battery now but i am sure that day will come. I found some batteries on ebay but i want to buy genuine moto g battery.
I couldn't find any info about how to check of genuineness of a moto g battery but maybe somehow you know.
Does any of you change their battery before and how does the battery you bought performed ?
This is the link of how to change battery https://youtu.be/bv5C0axnGIw It looks pretty easy
And here you can find some batteries for moto g on ebay http://ebay.to/1rfB2q5
It would be cool if you can post more links of places that we can buy moto g batteries..
Cheers,

Since it's not user-removable,it's best to go to a service centre to get it replaced.
Most likely it'll be genuine and they'll know the proper way to do this.
Good luck.

It is really easy to remove the battery so it is user-removable. Everything is user removable i am sorry but i hate to depend on others and i don't want to pay extra service fees for easy tasks like that.

Thanks for the links.

I too feel like that battery is degraded a little after 1.5 years of usage and thinking about replacing it. If anyone finds original moto g battery with international shipping let me know. I'll make a video while changing it.

maybe the battery is not an issue but apps like Google Services which drain the battery more and more with every update despite promises.

it's so simply you can use by your self
just buy the best quality same the generic version

What's the on screen time you all get? I've bought my Moto G 4G second hand and its almost a 1,5 years old. I see that screen on time maximum gets to 4 hours, compared to 5 on the original Moto G I had before.
I'm maybe considering installing a new battery, or otherwise trying a custom ROM to remove some stock Motorola crap.

SOT about 4 hours is not looks abnormal to me, it there running lots of process.
would u plz try slimsaber (5.1.1) once?? if slimsaber gives u leess then 5 hour SOT then might be problem on battery.

. . . Getting an original brand new replacement from eBay can be accomplished quite easily. I have a genuine ED30 unit in my wishlist for just $12´13 at this moment.
. . . Regarding battery lifespan: How to Prolong Lithium-based Batteries
. . . Thenceforth, if you stick to charging your battery up to around 60% of its maximum capacity you obliterate most voltage related stresses, effectively quadruplicating its lifespan. I swear it works (more than nine months doing this with my XT1032 by now).
Cheers

Anyone have a reliable/affordable link for a Canadian? My bettery seems to always jump from 30ish percent down to 20ish percent and SOT has gone down closer to 3-4 on all ROMs rather than the 5-6+ from before.

Mmm…

Sorry if a bit late. Search for "ED30" on eBay, and preferably use the full site (eBay full site on mobile; bookmark it ). I'd stick to the units who specifically claim to be original/from manufacturer accessories (generally $12+).
Cheers

use some battery juice saver Apps (Eg. Greenify) $ Check your Wakelocks.. it might help to get some little battery boost..

I have one XT1033 and i replaced my battery last year with some battery i bought around 15$ nor sure if it was original piece but it was even worse than my first one which turns off at 15%.

The key problem with online stores is that you do not even have an idea as to what the purchased product looks like and if you do, some counterfeiters can produce good-looking knock-offs. I bought a battery for the LG G3 recently and it performs the same as the one I already have even though it is new. The only clues that will help you with making a purchase is the seller and product reviews.
As for the Moto G (LTE), replacing the battery consists of unscrewing the screws, prying the inner battery panel off, pulling the ribbon connector outwards to disconnect it and pulling the battery away after that, and then reversing the aforementioned instructions, and I am thinking of replacing the battery for the Moto G LTE soon for obvious reasons.

I'm also trying to buy a new battery. Can anybody recommend a website where to get an original one?

New Battery for GT-I9195

Hi all
Does anyone know where i can find a legit replacement battery for my phone. I look at amazon and they either look too cheap or have terrible reviews. Where can i get official batteries for about 20 pounds or less. I live in the UK.
Thanks
"Craftmann" makes not bad batteries. Check this.
Do you have a link? I heard that only the oem battery was recommended.
I bought it directly from Samsung. There was a review on a german site, which showed that 12 out of 12 batteries from amazon were faked ones.

i just replaced my battery with the oem one although i bought it for like 9€ from a local shop.
although it lasts a bit longer, when it gets to around 30% then its no more stable and it will possible have the the usual behaviour we all know dropping instantly to 20-10% in minutes etc...
anyways....is there something we have to do when we replace a battery? Are there and battery stats or something that we have to reset or tickle so that Android will "learn" the new installed battery is in place?

You probably bought a counterfeit battery.
As stated above most of the OEM Samsung Batteries that are sold are faked.

hmmm you may unfortunatelly be right....:| is there a way to identify? i guess that would be hard.
any others "good ones" like Craftmann that sb mentioned here?
anyone has any 1900mah battery to suggest please?
Not looking for extreme capacities and stuff, but one that you have tested and behaves just like or close to when we all had the original battery that came with the phone.
Someone recommended the Deji battery but there is no way on earth i can find somewhere else than this Turkish shop
I have been on TechOrbits battery bought at Amazon.com for about two weeks now and am satisfied with it. They have warranty, so if the battery bloats (which happened to the previous eBay knock-off in just one year) I could get it replaced.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M5EK96F/
i would really go down and get this one
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/39677-of...-1900mah-standard-battery-Reviews.htm#reviews
judging by so many positive comments i think its the safest bet so far, so many fakes....i bought one for 8€ and it sucks badly.its getting close to the performance my 3year old official battery had.
Having lost my original battery and having to rely on a cheap ebay battery I thought I'd try mobilefun. THey shipped immediately, battery arrived in what looked like official Samsung packaging. So far so good, battery lasts much longer than my cheap ebay option and probably longer than my original battery but I dont have any stats to back that up. Battery discharge is slow and steady unlike the cheap ebay option which I've found tends to drop off a cliff when it drops below 15%. I can confirm that NFC works as well. Still early days but the signs look promising.
There are genuine Samsung batteries on eBay, the best bet is listings that include a photo of the packaging. A seller that is closer to home is preferred as well (if your home is not China or Hong Kong, anyway).

I have the same behavior as well with my 1900 mA battery although I bought it from an official store for around 27 USD.
This behavior appeared only few months after purchase.
Now the battery charges in 2 hours and 5 minutes and lasts for 6 or 7 hours only (normal usage).

My original battery is dead, she worked for a long time, she deserves peace. The problem is founding a new one!
I bought one from ebay but it's REALLY bad. Do I have to throw out my loved S4 mini cause there are no adequate replacements avalible? Someone knows a good place to buy it in 2020?
On my side I'm using a battery from Gadfull (can be found on amazon in some EU country). I've been using one for almost 3 years and for 2.5 years the capacity was good. I will get a new one this week.

[Q] LG G3 Battery upgrade

I've never upgraded or had a backup battery for any phone I've had but it makes sense to buy one for the LG G3 as it's always dead by time I get home from work and then I spend most of the time charging it next to the wall and unable to use it. Does anybody have any recommendations on a battery to use? I'm not a fan of the bulky 6000mah batteries that make your phone look like it has a big arse. I just want the highest capacity battery that will fit with the normal back cover. I think I'll charge both batteries and then swap in the morning and the evening so I always have it charged.
I've seen this one on eBay: LOPEDO BATTERY LG G3 (I can't post links yet, so it's literally the first result on eBay, 3300mAh for £9.98)
Is there a better version available? Does the higher mAh it is mean that it is better in general or will an optimised "high powered replacement" 3000mAh battery beat the standard LG G3 battery? Thanks..
Suggest to get one with separate charger
I'm also interested in these type of batteries. Anyone has tried them and can share the experience?
Hi i got a 3300mAh battery for my lg p990 on www.amazon.co.uk for €20 i think. Dident do much that old dog still drained out by the end of the day could be i was running avatar rom on it. On stock rom you might get more than a day ?
Have you considered buying a power bank? See, I had this issue too, but I've simply bought a power bank in order to give my phone an extra 50% of battery life. You can find them in all sizes and with lots of different capacities, some will even fit in your pocket with your phone. Here's two that I personally use.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Anker-2nd-Gen-Astro-Mini-3200mAh-PowerIQ-Portable-External-Battery-Charger-/321501314592?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4adaf8be20 (this particular one will give you about 80-90% charge )
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Duracell-Portable-Power-Bank-Lithium-Ion-Battery-4000-mAh-/261777254771?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cf323e973 (very reliable and charges quite fast)
Furthermore my JBL Charge 2 with its 6000Mah battery provides me with both amazing music and a full battery :good:
NOTE:
Do watch out when buying a really cheap one, there's no guarantee that it will actually hold up as long as it says in the description of the item.
Hope I helped you!

Yet another topic about battery replacement...

Yup..that's it.
About 2/3 weeks ago i received a new battery to replace the old one on my nexus 5, that was only giving me about 2h of SOT. The battery is a standard 2300mA, brought on ebay. Right after the installation, the doubts started: the new battery does not have the wireless charging option. That was not said anywhere on the description, so the seller got a neutral feedback. Now, after some time, i come to the conclusion that the battery is as good as the old one: it only lasts for about 2h of SOT. So probably it's a fake battery...
So today i found ou this one: https://www.batteryupgrade.com/shop...rtmentProductId/61381272/shopGroupId/86483823
it says it is 2500mAh. Well, for the price it should be. Anyone care to comment if it is worth try it and spend the money on it or should i consider an original one from lgspares?
Regards.
First things first. Wireless charging is totally irrelavant with what battery you have inside. The coil is attached to the back plate, not the battery. If it is not charging wirelessly check your installation.
Secondly, ebay+batteries = fake. Also, anything more than 2300mAh = fake. These are the two steps you have to do to check if a battery is genuine:
a) Check the battery temp. If it always says 29c, then it is fake.
b) If it DOESN'T have LG printed on the back (or has sth else like Samsung TSDI), then it is fake.
Spareslg used to carry original batteries and I bought one myself about 1,5 years ago. I don't know if this is still the case now, although I don't see why they would change now. So your best bet would be them.
Hi.
Thanks for your input. However the wireless charging is on the battery itself. I did chech this by placing the older battery on top of my wireless charger and saw the ligthing charging indicador turn on.
What's on the back cover is the coil for the NFC.
As for the current battery, when i did found out that about the 29C it really is happening (with slight variations), even thought the battery says LG.
I've sent an e-mail to the website selling this new one. Let's see what they answer.
Enviado do meu Nexus 5 através de Tapatalk
No it is not. The coil is on the back cover. You probably didn't snap the center clip in place (the one above the S), so there is no contact with the leads.
I didn't quite catch what you mean with the battery.
He means the battery temperature is 29 (fake) even if the LG words are written in it.
Topic looks a bit rezzed but...
I got this battery http://www.ebay.com/itm/2500mah-3-8...991327?hash=item4afad7431f:g:LIMAAOSwZ8ZW3lAJ
On my second charge I got 4h55m SOT, but the average from charge #1 and #3 is about 4h10m.
Using NitrogenOS + Nitrogen Kernel (interactive, power saving, -5000uv)
I bought this battery www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00NCJMQXK/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8. It is OEM brand new. Easily gives me a full day on one charge with light usage. I can get around 4 hours of non stop gaming. It seams better than the original battery that cane with my phone. All for $9 usd shipped! Shipping was pretty fast too.

I did the mod with a spare G2 battery I got from a relative, but I don't think it really charged beyond 2300mah. The charging times were roughly the same as well as the SOT.
So in my opinion it is just a placebo.

Did you calibrate the battery? That would need to be done for the phone to create a new file for the battery to detect the increase in size.
Well i replaced my Nexus 5s bad 2300 mah battery with LG G2s Genuine new 3000 mah battery.
Only made 1 charge/discharge cycle. I played for 1 h 10 m not demanding game, Used chrome for 1 h 37 m, Used 4G Network for 30 m, Talked 20 m (playd 4-5 games for 4-5 minutes, some youtube, settings and this kind of staff)and it gave me 5 h SOT! And this with Custom rom Android 7 nitrogen (which is buggy!!!!) After 2-3 cycles of my new batter, stable ROM without issues and Voltage and frequency tweaks i think it will give me 6 h 30 m SOT. Which is fantastic for Nexus 5!

I really thinking about mod G2 battery into my Nexus 5.
I tried to order Genuine battery from the links that other people recommended.
Not surprisingly, one Amazon seller send me fake one.
Another one send looks like genuine but battery is manufactured in 2013 which is older than my original battery and, there are bunch of unknown black chemicals outside of the battery that I ordered.
Very tired to buy a genuine battery for Nexus 5. Seems like more easy to mod to install G2.

The one that I ordered is from 2013 but is a brand new unused battery. It is definetelt OEM as I have taken it apart. Before doing so I checked the temperature of the battery as wekk and it checks out there as well. I know they stopped manufacturing these batteries but not sure when. I personally would not be worried about the date of the battery but more so making sure it is OEM.
Well, back in September I bought a 'genuine LG' BL-T9 with tools from a Chinese seller on ebay for $9.
I literally went over it with a magnifying glass and it appears genuine. All the markings are correct, the temp varies, and the build quality is the same as the original.
In fact, the only way I could tell the 2 apart was the sticky residue on the back of the original and the mfg date (11/26/2013 & 07/08/2016).
I took a chance on getting a fake, and if I did it turned out to be a good fake, as SOT went from under 2hrs to slightly over 4 and standby time is almost 5 days compared to the 2.5 or so from the original.
I gambled the $9 and unless my Nexus does a Note 7, I did good.

Manufacturing date is important with Li-polymer batteries.
A 3-year-old unused battery will not last as long as a 3-month-old unused battery.
The 'new' 2013 battery may last longer than the used one in the phone, but it won't last as long as a 2015 battery would.
I'd sooner buy a decent generic 2015-2016 battery than a genuine LG battery made in 2013.

I have not had a single problem with mine. I play a lot of games on my phone and I have no problem getting between 4 to 6 hours of SOT with the battery that I purchased from Amazon. After reading posts online my SOT is what other people are getting with their genuine batteries as well. So I don't see it degrading that much. Of it did it was a very tiny amount which I am fine with for what it cost. I believe it was like $8 shipped. I posted a link to it earlier in this thread or the other battery thread not sure which. I have also been using the battery for around 2 months now maybe s little longer with no degrade in SOT.
I’ve bought a new battery from AliExpress. Date on the battery is June 2016 (I assume it’s manufacturing date).
Before I replace the battery, I want to test the current/original battery. Any suggestion which App I can use?
It would be great if there an app that keeps screen on from 100% charge and records how long screen was on before battery died. Once I have the result, I can run the same app after (/if I manage to) change the battery.
Any suggestion/advice will be highly appreciated.
Thanks guys,

Ampere is the app I use for measuring current & load.
IIRC, it doesn't keep a logfile, but it does help when it comes to determining output & charging current.
As for your other question, I really don't know which app to use, but if you do a search of the entirety of XDA, someone's probably coded one.
Though I personally wouldn't use such an app because the N5 gets pretty warm under heavy use anyway, and I'd rather not have it burst into flame unattended.
Also, the battery I posted earlier about here is still going strong.
It was either a genuine LG battery or a really good counterfeit.
Hi:
I ended up by buying an original battery from spares LG. So far, i'm very happy with the performance: i'm getting between 2h30m and 3h00 SOT, with 4G, wi-fi and Bluetooth allays on.

HTC 10 - Replacement Battery - Have you done it?

Does anyone have any direct experience (not hearsay) or a link to anyone who has actually done actual testing on any replacement batteries.
Ideally, something like what Richard Lloyd has done on youtube to test 18650 batteries.
*** As we can use the google machine, please refrain from links saying "this battery sucks" or "this is the best ever!". Reviews on amazon, ebay, aliexpress and others can be bought for pennies.
It would be great to see someone doing math and using electrical measurements, not what an app reports. ***
----------------------------------
So, two-ish years later and my unlocked HTC 10's battery is starting to go.
I'm using the latest build of Leedroid's rom and no, it is not the rom.
I have replaced batteries in the past and feel like I should give it a shot even though HTC made it a b*tch to change.
Why I'm asking: I changed the battery on a past phone and it worked pretty well for 6-ish months. Then, it exploded and cracked the lcd and g glass screen.
So, trying to avoid that.
-----------------------------------------------
Facts (as I understand them):
We cannot get a real / genuine HTC 10 battery.
HTC does not sell them.
Anything labeled as such is most likely a Chinese fraud or an actual HTC 10 battery that failed their internal inspection process.
-----------------------------------------------
Does anyone have any experience with the replacement batteries that are for sale on Aliexpress?
Part number: B2PS6100
Brands (stickers?):
Cameron Sino 3000mAh
HSABAT 4300mAh
Ciszean 3000mAh
LOSONCOER 4300mAh
XINBONG 4000mAh
Dxqioo 3000mah
etc....
What buyer did you get your best / working battery from? Details please!
Has anyone ever gotten a reading of more than 3000mah that lasts?
I've read on oneplus forums that many replacement batteries often only provide ~80% of the real battery when new and fully charged (mAh).
Many have concluded that batteries that fail their inspection process are not properly recycled and are being re-branded and sold under new names / stickers.
Comments welcome, hopefully my caveats at the beginning didn't scare off everyone.
Thanks in advance!
Mine is also 18 months old and looking for some alternatives . Hope somebody gonna help us.
I've done mine got it from repairbase.co.uk but haven't done any tests on it other than what an app called acubattery which estimates it's capacity as 2868. I've never fully charged it got it set to only go to 75% in the hope that it'll last longer than the original.
Ref the actual swap it wasn't that bad,
I heated the screen on a microwaved wheat bag
used some suction cup pliers to lift the screen
Cut the glue with a guitar pick
Made a simple diagram on a bit of cardboard to stick the screws in.
I took all the tape off completely stored on a bit of greaseproof paper and was really careful with the screen ribbon.
I replaced my own battery.
I replaced my own battery. I bought it off of ebay from a seller in the US. My phone used to have random boot loops now that no longer happens.
It was difficult. Heating the display and pulling off is a problem. I actually broke my display and severed my ribbon cable for the sim. I replaced those parts and battery change was successful. Now the only issue is the adhesive is not sticking that great. Nothing that affects anything. I just see how the screen slightly gives just a little bit. I do not recommend the double stick tape. Get the special glue!!! Something with a 7000 in the name.
I will be reheating a gluing it in the future. I dread working on this phone. Although I am not a professional I think I did a pretty good job. Other phones are much easier to repair.
I DID NOT notice a super improvement in battery life. My new battery was now back to "Ok" battery life instead of terrible no more bootloops at 20% or when camera is open. There is a problem with the HTC 10 with the cpu using to much, along with wakelocks and wifi. I really wish HTC would address these issues.
I installed LEEDROID have not switched kernal yet. I have getting over 4hours and 30 minutes of on screen time. If I change the kernel and throttle the cpu I may be able to get a little more. The goal is 5 hours.
I am NOT an EXPERT. I am a smart individual through trial and error that can figure many things out. I like to get the most out of my technology I'm not ready to get a new phone. My phone is primarily used for Audiobooks, Youtube, web browsing, texting.
i wanted to replace my battery... but after watching this video i've lost all my motivation ^^
as soon as my battery starts to crash at low percentage i'll take another look at it ^^

Oh.... and i always tought these batteries are from the same manufacturer as the original one but somehow stolen/bought directly at the manufacturing site and sold by private persons.
It is really hard to distinguish a real battery from a fake...
But to know if your battery is full/new or not the only way is an external discharge test.
I've tought about buying one of these https://www.ebay.ch/itm/ZB2L3-Batte...560532?hash=item25e6002a94:g:ag4AAOSwmnFZ4hxs
But it says 3A ... which is a bit much for this poor phone battery.
Having a functioning temperature sensor is critical to the stability and safety of the battery. If you've replaced your battery, use an app like Accubattery to verify the following: an existing thermistor will read a fluctuation in temps anywhere from 20-50C based on usage and ambient heat. Most (all?) of the batteries sold online have only a resistor which will send various inaccurate readings to the phone, typically 25C while charging, and a jump to 35-38C while unplugged (if the plugging/unplugging makes no sudden difference, try putting your phone in the freezer, or going between idle and heavy use to test).
If your replacement battery has an accurate temp sensor, please add to the discussion by telling us where you purchased it.
i bought HSABAT 4300mAh from aliexpress,i replaced the battery .will share with you guys here the results
Shame it's so much effort to change battery my wifes phone always turns off at around 21% now and she doesn't like any of the newer phones most are too big this htc 10 was the max she would go to.
My guess is that a lot of people are going to try in the coming 2-6 months as their battery starts to weaken.
Phone is great. Processor is fast enough and camera is great.
My hope is that we can gather real info and start to get good intel on these battery brands (?).
I don't think changing the battery is particularly easy, but it can be done. (See YouTube)
That being said, I don't want to have to do it more than once.
I hope more people chime in, because I guess many have already and many more will be doing it.

yo dawg, any news? i'm very eager to read it.
peace
Hey @alicine. I'm really curious about the battery and want to buy it. I have some questions and would really appreciate if you could answer them.
1) Has it exploded yet?
2) Is it the advertised 4300 mAh capasity?
3) How did you make it fit inside the shell? Is it the same dimensions as the 3000 mAh ones?
4) How long does it take to charge & does it still support fast charging?
5) How many hours of SoT are you getting now? (which ROM you're in that would help too)
Thanks in advance.
Tips from experience on M7
One thing about lithion batteries . . . they lose a bit of capacity just sitting on the shelf as matter of simple, natural deterioration. So to a certain extent, the newer the better.
When I replaced the battery on my HTC One M7 it was a similar challenge. My approach to buying a battery was to look closely at the photos and see what the date was on the battery for sale as it should be printed on it. (Some of the sellers don't even know that.) I tried to get the most plausibly recently made battery, within reason. By that I mean, I was concerned that for an older phone there might not be any batteries recently manufactured for it, so a very recently dated battery might be fraudulently remarked/re-dated. If I wasn't sure I queried the seller to find out if they knew what the battery's date was.
I'm not sure my theory is correct about which date battery to shoot for, but I'm still going with that line of thinking
Hi, what about the battery performance with daily use?
@numpaque
I'm not sure what the question is there - batteries lose charge as you use them, then need recharging.
What do you want to know again ?

1-No its not exploded yet, its working very well
2-I guess no , because im having same SoT as i get it when i first buy the phone
3-I removed the screen first, then one by one other compenents.Dimensions are the same
4-Its takin 50-60 mins to charge from %5 to full
6-Stock rom 4-4.5 hours depend on the use
I sent my HTC-10 in for battery replacement through the official service in Germany. This was approx. 6 weeks before my warranty ran out.
Battery performance was really bad with SOT of around 2 hrs, and random shut downs at 20-40% battery capacity.
After 2-3 weeks it came back, and according the delivery paper the battery has been replaced.
But regrettably no improvement could be notified.
So I sent it back again and got it back within approx. 1 week. This time they had replaced the side keys on the Phone, but even this time I could not find any improvement of the battery performance.
So I claimed it a third time, and sent it to the official service again. But now my 24 months warranty was gone….However they still accepted this as a Warranty claim and when I got my phone back after approx. 2-3 weeks it had a new battery, and a new screen.
Since then, the battery performance is good and my phone works more or less like a new one.
I get SOT between 4-5 hrs and no more shut downs and boot loops using stock Oreo.

I have stuck with using the oem LG battery and have purchased them twice on ebay

What vendors sell legitimate stock batteries (there are alot of fakes out there)?
I've purchased an extended battery from a website, shipping out of Singapore to most international places, after reading various Reddit threads giving it very high praise and blowing scepticism out of the water.
It fits about 1/4 more capacity into the same size as the regular batteries by using Lithium-Polymer.
I'm waiting for it to arrive, once it does and I've tested it, I'll be writing up something of a review on it and putting it in this section, so lookout for that over the coming weeks.
Like cnjax, I've purchased a couple OEM batteries from eBay but have recently had my secondary one start failing with odd behaviour. If the battery level goes below 25% for example, the phone just dies and it'll only charge up to about 88%, which leads me to believe it's lower quality than the original I got with the phone.
But since that's over a year ago now, I figure I'll move that to a backup.

The battery is currently out of stock, but you can check out the link here. The available price was around $30.
I've been using two of these batteries, swapping between them every two days since early December, and they seem pretty solid so far. I usually get around 5 to 7 hours of screen-on time when going from full to around 10% (see attached screenshot), and the absolute most I've gotten was just over 10 hours of SOT. My numbers seem to be close to what someone else recently posted on Reddit, showing their AccuBattery stats over 2.5 months of usage.

Hey thanks for sharing the link and the reddit information about it. It's too bad they're sold out, perhaps these can be found somewhere else, regardless I appreciate the info as I had no idea they made a higher capacity LiPo battery that was pretty much the same size, that's awesome stuff!
Looks to be about the same as this one. I am currently using and testing this one.

The Lithium-Polymer battery from Singapore is now back in stock. Looking at the updated description in the old link, it gives you the updated link here. For some reason, the title doesn't say battery, but everything else on the new listing page is the same as before.
Update: I asked the sellers about the odd title/category, and they confirmed that this is the new listing page for the battery.
I've bought the Perfine Li-Poly 4100 mAh from Ali express, it takes the same space as original battery and only costs £10!
I have bought two of these and can confirm they are healthy near new and don't have the issues that other new-old-stock batteries have. https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-LG...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648

This battery works great! Last way longer than the originals. Same usage that would run my battery down to 15% now takes me down to 50%

Li-Po batteries are the way forward for the V20! I bought 2 Perfine ones and my SOT went from 2hrs45 - 3.5 to anything from 4.5 - 8!
The perfine 4200 one has been great for about a month now or so. Been getting about half an hour more use than stock but I've been using brightness at 100 compared to when I was using the stock one I usually had it on Auto.
Biggest issue which is close to making me try a different one very soon is my back cover keeps popping off some times multiple times a day. I have it in a case and I can always tell because the finger print scanner either stops working entirely or becomes very erratic.
I just got my maxxxjuice battery. It seems to fit. However, I put it in and started using the phone to run the battery down until shutoff (per instructions). It read 49%. In about 5 minutes of use, I noticed dark banding on the edges of the screen. It's like two dark areas running from the top of the phone to the bottom. I shut it off. Put the OEM battery back in. It had the banding, but lighter. About 5 minutes later, the banding is gone.
$33 bucks in the toilet.
