Why TWRP ? Why not some rooted firmware which keeps warranty safe ?
TWRP is a custom recovery. It has many more functionality than stock recovery! if something goes wrong while flashing something you can always make a backup use this recovery which can be restored when things get messed. if mess is of large extend you can always flash stock firmware.

I have built CWM for our Lenovo A3000-H - tested it as well, everything (apart from the bugs mentioned below) seems to work. This is not a "port", it has been compiled from source.
NOTE: I have built and tested this on my Lenovo A3000-H (16 GB version with 3G) with the a3000_prc_3gfull board/partition table. It may or may not work on others.

If you already have ROM package (including flash tool) from one of "Azam426" threads, it's simple:
1. Just open "Flash_tool"
2. Tick "DA DL All with check sum"
3. Load "scatter-loader" file and point to "MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt".
4. Uncheck everything except for "RECOVERY"
5. Click the "RECOVERY" title and point that to "recovery.img" file downloaded from this thread.
6. Switch off the tablet, prepare the USB cable, and click "DOWNLOAD"
7. Wait a few seconds, then connect the cable to the tab.
8. In case if you get any error messages when you click "DOWNLOAD", unplug the cable then click "FIRMWARE->UPGRADE" option, wait a few seconds and reconnect the cable to the tab.
Please note, I'm not responsible if your tab got bricked, burned, exploded, loosing some or all of your data, etc.
Although flashing this recovery doesn't do any harm (on my device), but just to be safe, please do backup your important files, PIMs, emails, etc.
Keys assignment:
- Vol up = Up
- Vol down = Down
- Pwr button = Select
=> In case you're wondering how to enter recovery, just turn off your device, press and hold vol up + power button until you have this screen:
A new build is up, some storage issues have been fixed up. Updated the OP.
I did all steps, unchecked everything (PRELOADER become RED) and loaded recovery.img and click download but it ask if I want to downloading anyway ?! because all images are not correctly loaded. I said YES, and it said Image RECOVERY checksum failed !
what did I wrong ?!

CWM v6.0.5.1 is up! This time, I have uploaded a flashable ZIP so you can easily upgrade using an existing recovery. If you want to flash it as before then just extract the recovery.img from the ZIP file and flash it however you want to flash it.
Thank you sir...
I have tested this recovery on my Lenovo A3000-H and there is no bug in PC USB mass storage...
I don't know how but this is true..
My build number A3000_A422_013_026_140926_WW_CALL_FUSE
Another build is up, CWM is now intended to work with a3000_prc_3gfull devices.

I have the mentioned model and I tried some things on it. Sharing my experience with you as a guide.
Backup anything you need out of the phone before proceeding as the next steps erases the phone data.
You need a windows machine to follow this guide.
My experience with
Bootloader Unlocking [Source]
It has a relatively simple bootloader unlocking procedure.
To unlock bootloader, go to developer options and enable OEM Unlocking. Then reboot into download mode. Hold down the vol up key for oem unlocking. Quickly press the volume up button as soon as the next screen comes up. If done right, it should erase userdata automatically on the next boot. After erase, it will reboot. setup the phone with default options and go to developer options again. That's it, bootloader unlocked.
Bootloader Locking

Summary: After rooting, phone didn't recognize IMEI anymore, so, no network. Phone storage was reduced down to 8 gb instead of 32gb.
But nevertheless, root worked.

[Guide] [Root] Debrand your lg v50 from carrier boot animation, apps... etc (SKT)

DISCLAIMER NOTICE
* I'm not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed
* YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
* Your warranty will be void if you tamper with any part of your device / software.
So this is How I managed to get rid of all sh*t that I found in my phone
BACKUP before you start
1- (obviously) you have to root your lg v50, personally I followed this guide https://lge.fun/thread-159.htm
if you have root with older android 10 and you dont know how to update head to 2nd step
*install TWRP >> https://forum.xda-developers.com/v50-thinq/how-to/unofficial-twrp-3-3-1-0-t4140319
*reboot to TWRP by holdong Voldown+power >> when first screen showup release power then hold it back fast, keep Voldown press >> press yes on delete user data (wont actually delete anything)
2- sideload this zip file in TWRP (found in attachment)
then go to wipe> advanced> format data
reboot
3-[if you dont want to update skip to step 4] download latest patched boot image from here https://kdz.gresslg.tk then flash it to boot partition in TWRP
then in lgup software https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80247013&postcount=5
tick partition dl then tick everything EXCEPT boot_a + boot_b (boot to lgup download mode by holding Volup+usb)
4- Reboot to twrp> Advanced> file manger
go to /OP
There you will find Bootup+shutdown animations and sounds
you can delete them to force the phone to use stock LG boot animation found in system/product/media or product/media
5-you can use app manager to uninstall or disable bloatware https://labs.xda-developers.com/store/app/de.realvoxel.appmanager
6-disable Dual clock with this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/v50-thinq/how-to/guide-remove-roaming-clock-update-t4086295
7- Smash Thanks botton
Dont be shy to ask any question or share any tips

Hi, I own a now-dead LG V30 and I'm thinking of getting an LG V50, European version, on which I would like to do bootloader unlocking.
I'm not clear if the procedure works on this phone and if TWRP works correctly. On the other post I read that the touch doesn't work (I didn't understand though only when I do reset from OS or always).
And so I ask with this procedure I have a perfectly rooted phone, can I make backups on TWRP, use Magisk, etc.?
Can I do it once, or do I lose something when I do a reset?
If then I want to update the firmware?
Thanks and regards!

[RECOVERY][3.5.2_10][gtelwifiue][gtesqltespr] TWRP Recovery

Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or twrp3 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*

*
*/
Installation
Download version .tar when you haven't a TWRP installed and you are coming from stock ROM and flash it via Odin in download mode. NOTE: Un-check Auto-reboot option in Odin, install tar file (it has to be placed in AP section) and after reboot manually in recovery mode with vol+, home and power buttons. This because otherwise you'll come back to stock recovery.
Download version .img when you have a TWRP installed. Simply, from home, go in install -> install image -> select your .img file -> press recovery as partition where you want to install it -> swipe to flash -> reboot system.
Download version .zip if you have an old TWRP. (you can install a .img or .zip file, as you want)

New TWRP 10 update for Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 & Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 MSM8916 Model
Change Log:
- Backup Now Works.
- Plus All Partitions can now be backup.
Hi there!!
I'm having some troubles installing TWRP on a gtelwifiue (Samsung SM-T561). Could the 3.5.2_10 version work also on this device?
I apparently uploaded with success TWRP through heimdall, but when I restart the device with (volumeUp+home+power) the recovery doesn't show up; instead, I get the logo splashpage with a small red exclamation mark on the top left :-|

Bugs
Decryption will only work if no password/PIN/pattern is set in Android.
You tell me.
How to install
Spoiler: If you dont have a custom recovery installed
[*]Make sure your bootloader is already unlocked and OEM unlock is enabled, otherwise the installation will fail.
[*]Download and install Samsung Drivers
[*]Download the latest *.tar for your phone
[*]Download Odin, from example from https://downloads.corsicanu.ro/samsung/
[*]If not done before, flash disabled VBMeta with Odin in AP slot
[*]Turn off your phone, connect it to PC and reboot to download mode by holding down Volume up, Volume down and power button at the same time.
[*]Open Odin and check if your device is detected, then untick "Autoreboot" in its settings.
[*]Put the tar file you downloaded into the AP tab
[*]Click start and wait for the installation to finish, Odin will show PASS
[*]Now hold down Power button and Volume down for about 10 seconds to force reboot the device
[*]Immediately after the screen goes black release the keys and hold down Volume up and Power button at the same time until you enter OrangeFox (You may need to release the keys after about 20-30secs due to the "unlocked bootloader" warning)
[*]If you properly followed all the steps you should now see the OrangeFox menu.
[*]I HIGHLY recommend to flash services disabler right after you enter OrangeFox to disable forced encryption and stock recovery restoration.
[*]IF YOU ALREADY HAVE TWRP OR OLDER ORANGEFOX BUILDS INSTALLED, JUST DOWNLOAD AND FLASH THE ZIP FILE IN RECOVERY
Spoiler: If you do have a custom recovery installed
[*]Download the *.zip file
[*]Flash it in recovery.
[*]Once its done flashing, phone will reboot on its own to recovery
[*]If you properly followed all the steps you should now see the OrangeFox menu.
