[ROM|LEAK|MM] SM-N910P TouchWiz Marshmallow 6.0.1 N910PVPE4DPB5 *Eng Bootloader* - Sprint Galaxy Note 4 Android Development

Super Anti-plumber Bros 2. presents: Marshmallow 6.0.1 leak with engineering bootloader for the SM-N910P.
Check out the screenshots below.
Here's what you need to know before installing:
-You will need to flash the updated bootloader (engineering) AND baseband. You can go back to lollipop, but will need to downgrade your bootloader back (I will link it) or your wifi will not turn on and your camera will be blurry and not focus. You may keep the baseband no matter what version you are on.
-This is an engineering build, so there are debugging apps and features turned on. While this has a very minor effect on performance, it has one nonetheless.
-This ROM takes a VERY VERY LONG TIME to boot. It took me almost 30 minutes and I almost gave up and thought I did something wrong. But, it is deodexed by default since it isn't production software.
-This ROM can be flashed with TWRP and does not replace your recovery.
-This ROM comes with a su binary, not SuperSU, but SuperSU 2.68 beta can be flashed to enable root (will link below).
--What does that mean? the ROM is partially rooted and adb shell will throw you into a root shell by default. Apps won't say you're rooted, but once you flash SuperSU 2.68 beta, it will work as normal.
Anyway, enough with all that crap. Here's what everyone really wants: Bootloaders and basebands are ODIN flashable TAR images. The ROM is flashable with TWRP.
Pre-flash:
Engineering bootloader: Download PB5 engineering bootloader
PB5 Baseband: Download PB5 baseband
ROM:
SM-N910P-PB5-ENG-Leak ROM: Download SM-N910P-PB5-ENG-Leak ROM
Post-flash: Want root?
SuperSU 2.68 BETA: Link to SuperSU 2.68 BETA thread
Looking for the original Odin TAR? WARNING: THIS WILL ERASE YOUR INTERNAL STORAGE
Download PB5 Odin TAR
Wanna downgrade? No problem:
OK1 bootloader: Download OK1 bootloader
OK1 baseband (OPTIONAL): Download OK1 baseband

Well, until apktool gets updated to support Marshmallow we won't be able to properly decompile and build apk's & jars. So no custom mods or anything until apktool is updated. Its still cool to see what we can expect with the official M ota.

Is this a leaked build for the N910P or the N920P that has been ported? Just curious as in the OP it says 920 but the screenshots show 910.

Excellent work @freeza! Great having a path to return.
How's battery so far?

Yes updated everything and no wifi.

Had this issue as well. Didn't try to look into it but I just may now.. It could just be the build. Try setting secure storage to false in build prop

Did you flash the entire file? There are usually two. The full rom and then updates to the rom. I would check in his thread to see what happened.
Also clearing the cache can help with the boot process

I did everything, but the problem begins when I install the updates.
If I only install v5, my note doesn't reboot by itself.
Gotta ask what was your process for flashing 5.0 did you wipe x3 and format data x3 that is what I normally do Im playing with mods right now but have been running 5.0.3 for a couple of days with no reboots actually never got any reboots while on DomPop
What Baseband and Modem are you running download the systeminfo app from playstore and it should tell you if you are unsure.

As I have understood, you can only update the baseband and bootloader through ota. I Flashed the rom twice, the first time only the system was updated but no the baseband, the second did the modification of odin and everything went perfect.

Download Odin v3.10.6 from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711451, unzip and search for the odin3.ini file, open it and modify this two lines:
PhoneEFSClear=0
PhoneBootUpdate=0k
Change the first from 0 to 1 if you want to do a factory reset when you install the rom
Change the second one from OK to 1 to Odin update the baseband and bootloader automatically. After that open Odin, connect your note on download mode and install the rom.

You don't need to root stock rom. Download openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.1-hltetmo-4.4.zip from Google and install via Odin, after that you only have to reboot into the twrp recovery and install the DomPop rom.
This rom comes rooted.

[ROM|Stockish|ROOTED|NO KNOX] 11/15/15 Sprint TouchWiz Lollipop 5.1.1 (N910PVPU4COJ6)

Here's a Stockish ROM for your N910P. This ROM has Knox, Sprint ItsOn, and secure storage removed. Nothing else was done to this ROM. I'm new to the Note 4 so I may upload patches to remove any other traces of Knox or ItsOn or optimizations I happen to find while making my own ROM.

MD5: 248ee48a2f85220c0d7ff4b0f9c9d308
Patches and fixes:
None yet.
[size=+3]DeOdex note:[/size]
The first boot time for this DeOdex ROM is very long. Approximately 5-8 minutes. Your phone will get hot as the splash screen remains on the yellow Sprint boot animation. I recommend keeping your phone in a cool environment while this is happening. The heat, if not properly checked, can make boot times even longer as the system throttles speed in order to deal with the heat. This doesn't happen on the Odex version.
[size=+3]Install instructions:[/size]
-Are you currently on the OB7 bootloader and would like to stay on it?
--Simply flash the baseband with Odin, and the ROM.
-Are you on the update from OTA or flashed the OJ6 TAR?
--Flash kernel only.
-Are you one of the unlucky ones to take the OTA and hose your system trying to root and are now on another ROM?
--Flash ROM only.
-Are you on any build after OB7 but not the current OJ6?
--Flash the baseband and ROM. Bootloader is optional and not available in this thread as of yet.
Wiping is only necessary if you are coming from a different base, such as AOSP/CM. If you are coming from a touchwiz ROM, wiping isn't needed, but won't hurt.
Changelog:
11/15/15: Update to OJ6
8/7/15: Initial Release.
Damn that was fast!

Thanks boss made my weekend nicer
@freeza someone said on the other thread, The Google apps don't like to be deodexed. You can actually pull their folders with apk and applicable /lib/arm.so's right off the /data/app (updates) directory and rename the folder and apk appropriately (Phonesky, GmsCore, Chrome, Maps, and Velvet and change the apps from base.apk to their appropriate titles.apk) use those folders in a system flash. Same applies to other third party applications and any other Google app not removed as bloat from tar system partition.
Rule of thumb would be to only deodex what actually needs to deodexed.
Looking forward to your work once development and root catch up to Android 5.1.1 or M. I'm staying with OB7 deodexed until we root for latest. Finally getting back to Xposed for Lollipop.

HOW TO ROOT USING MAGISK:
Flash stock with Odin. The latest build is posted above. Reboot and complete setting up the phone.
Download Magisk Zip and Magisk Manager APK (these are two different things, you need both) and place them on your phone. Download from https://magiskmanager.com/
Do the usual to enable Developer Options (tap on build number until you see it enabled) and set OEM Unlock ot on (this is a setting under developer options.) Make sure you do these steps.
Go into Download mode. Turn phone off. Hold Volume Down, Home and Power buttons. We'll do something similar in a minute.
Flash TWRP via Odin, but DO NOT REBOOT. TWRP is here, use the TAR file. https://dl.twrp.me/zerofltespr/
Manually Power phone down by holding the Power button a really long time.
Manually boot into Recovery. Hold Volume Up, Home and Power. You should now be in TWRP.
Use TWRP to flash the Magisk zip file. When you reboot, you should be rooted.
Reboot and install the Magisk APK. Allow "Unknown sources."
You can still root your phone using SuperSU, but I am not supporting that.
thank you for your link.

[PE3] Stock T-Mobile & [PE2] Stock Rogers Marshmallow (Bootloader, Modem, ROM)

Code:
I'm not responsible for what you do to your device,
this is official software downloaded from Sammobile
and uploaded to different mirrors to spread availability.
This is the stock MODEM, BOOTLOADER, and ROM from Sammobile uploaded for all of you guys.
WARNING: There is a possibility that some of the ROMs may not work since they've been designed for the Lollipop (DOK2) bootloader. I have not tested yet if CF-Autoroot works.
Edit #2: There seems to be no ROOT as of now!
Edit #3: AFTER FLASHING TWRP VIA ODIN, I CAN'T BOOT.
Edit #4: I am able to boot after flashing via odin. I was just being a derp and kept doing it wrong. If you can't get passed the splash screen all you need to do is factory reset and that seems to have fixed it for me. TL;DR I now have Systmless root, TWRP, and on MM for T-Mobile (EPE3)
Steps to get this working:
Boot into download mode.
Have odin opened and ready.
Make sure your device is plugged in to your computer.
Now click AP, add the file you extracted from the .rar you downloaded. (For example: N910TUVU2EPE3_N910TTMB2EPE3_N910TUVU2EPE3_HOME.tar.md5)
Now press start!
After it's done, you're going to want to do the same thing but with TWRP. Remember to click AP and not CP.
Now via TWRP, flash the latest Systemless Root by Chainfire
You should now be able to boot into the ROM.

Alright it finished uploading! As of now you can't root it, I've already tried using @TEKHD 's CF-Autoroot method, and I've also tried flashing the latest Systemless root from Chainfire, I tried changing the kernel as well. If you try rooting you can't get past the "Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Powered By Android" Splash screen. :/
EDIT: Factory resetting using Samsungs recovery seems to have fixed it for me. I believe it might fix it for anyone else stuck on the splash screen as well.

That's really strange, I wonder how they got it. I can't get passed the boot screen if I flash systemless root. I'll keep trying though!
Possibly what I'm experiencing may be due to me being a derp and flashing via CP instead of AP. I'm going to try flashing everything through AP instead.
Any chance for a T3 version? I can't download from sammobile - it gives me a bunch of errors (404, 502...)

Well, it could definitely use a debloat! It feels very cluttered and slow because of the bloat

I figured you say that, we are spoiled with the roms here and debloating would always be favorable... thanks for your work on this.

Signal and data and failing

I loaded CM-13.0 nightly and have Been updating as the updates come but when I go to make a call it takes forever to go through and start ringing and sometimes it r just hangs up. The data keeps going from LTE to nothing and no SIM . I can't get mms either. Can someone tell me what to do.thanks.

Same thing is happening to me. I've tried using OctOs M and now I am on PacRom 6.0.1 and I am having the same "No sim card" error. I can text and call, but no Data whatsoever.
Have you tried changing your APN settings for your network on your phone?

My stock OS Is 4.1.2 and is running Baseband UVAMB7. Do I need to go for the higher updates for the LTE to work?

I think you need to be on UVUBOH1.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1949687 has the list of FW and it looks like you are using a super super old baseband.

Do I need to use ODIN for this? I tried installing UVUBOH1 with TWRP, but I get an error when I installing it:
"could not find 'META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary' in the zip file"

Yes, download https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347821137
NOTE, if you click on "UVUBOH1" and not the androidfilehost link in the FW thread, it links you to the wrong FW and you'll flash UVUBNC1! Make sure you click the androidfilehost link underneath UVUB0H1.
Then flash it with odin.
Afterwards let it reboot and upgrade, then odin TWRP back and either restore a nandroid or flash the rom of your choosing
Oh also, if you're still on 4.1 and on a touchwiz rom, you may want to factory unlock it before you upgrade.. Just because you can. Follow the unlock thread on here

Thank you so much! I will try this out soon and respond with the results! And I had already unlocked my device :. I had to root and use the RegionLock app to unlock it, as the *#197328640# menu option did not work for me.

Was quite a bit of trouble at first . I managed to download and flash the software. flashed TWRP via odin.
Then through TWRP, I rooted by using the Knox remover zip (as i was on official 4.3, my service signal did shoot up to normal again!). Installed SuperSU.
Now when I try to flash any ROM via TWRP it gives errors such as "Status 7", or error reading MD5 when I try to backup software.

Make sure twrp is up to date for d2tmo, and make sure the rom you are flashing is 4.3 or later. I'm pretty sure that once you're on the latest 4.3 rom you can't flash anything lower

That's strange, I'm using 3.0.2.0 and the latest 999L baseband and I haven't had any issues with flashing.
I'm Using the MM pac rom but I've tried CM14.1 nightly builds with no problem

I have finally managed to figure it out. You need to completely format the entire ROM currently installed from your phone. Once that is done, you can add any ROM to install properly. I'm running well on OctOS-N 3/17/2017 build.
Thanks all for your help.
