Windows 8.1 USB stick Beelink Intel Pocket P2:when the size (is powerful and) matters

Only some years ago we saw the first Android USB sticks, they were just a way to put the same hardware that most of mobile phones had but without including screen or camera...
Summary? Quite cheap gadgets with lots of possibilities. The mini PCs had been created!
The best of them was that they directly came with hundreds of thousands of applications (from GooglePlay) and almost everybody knew how to use them since it was the same Android platform they were using on their smartphones.
Beelink was one of the companies from the Shenzhen area (created on 2010) who specialized their activity on home entertainment equipment. And once again, as well as many other companies started manufacturing components until the moment they had cumulated enough knowledge to be able to design and manufacture their own (full products).
But then, on the traditional path of development, Beelink has chosen one interesting partnership: Intel.
Yes, with the huge development of Android devices, some chip manufacturers like Qualcomm, or more recently Mediatek, have experimented a great growth. So in 2013 Intel presented a new strategy focused on recovering this big part of the market they were loosing. And so we started to see a very small (but growing number) of devices equipped with Intel processors.
Of course most of the manufacturers are still presenting Android-based devices, because of 2 reasons: licence price and mobile oriented platform with already a great ecosystem of apps.
However, with the arrival of Intel to the playground, it opened the gate to other operating systems like Windows. And needless to say that Microsoft was also really interested on taking some part of the mobile market.
Putting together the acquired knowledge on MiniPCs and the possibilities of an Intel processor, Beelink bring to us the Intel Pocket P2, a powerful device within the smallest possible place, just a little bigger than an USB flash drive.
Just plugging it into our TV and we will have a full PC with big screen, offering a resolution of FullHD (1920x1080) perfect not only for work since we will have available Microsoft Office and all other Windows software, but a perfect gaming station.
We all know that Windows has the biggest catalog of games.
To make all that possible this small stick has inside a Quad-core Intel Z3735F processor inside and 2GB of DDR3 RAM memory, and all the rest we may need is already included: dual WiFi b/g/n antenna, BT 4.0, 32GB of flash drive for storage and of course the infrared sensor for a remote controller. On the side we will find SD card reader, micro USB for OTG purposes, jack output for audio and HDMI for plugging the screen.
The OS included is Windows 8.1 that will surely be updated to Windows 10 as Microsoft announced recently.
So, we have a very interesting device, I never imagined such an easy way to have a real Windows PC with tiny power consumption that we can bring to anyway for less than 100€.

I know some of these have some issues with the windows license (windows license is free for tablets <8" but this is no tablet), like the Pipo X7 (hence the more expensive Pipo X7S)

Good product though, still have some concerns about the operating experience and overheating problem caused by long time working. Is it easy to connect to the screen?

I also read a lot of user reviews that Windows wasnt activated and they also couldnt. The problem is that Windows 8.1 Bing editions is just free for tablets <8" I think. And this device is actually a desktop because having a HDMI. So youd need a normal Windows 8.1 license for it. I would buy one too but I cant find any information about the pirated Windows license or which ones have activated version on them.

Iv got the Ainol,pipo x7 & the beelink pocket p1 all of them came with windows 8.1 bing fully activated NOT pirated..The pipo also comes with office 365 which alone is worth £50 but the pipo does over heat a lot

Ive read all kind of other reviews, people got a 30days trial and it was activated. Also, even if the Bing edition is installed and activated, it's pirated, because like I said, Bing Edition is just allowed by MS on <8" devices, and this one has not even a display, it's a desktop PC.

Have the P1
Seems pretty good. Windows 8.1 activated no problem.
Reasonably snappy, haven't got past luke warm so far.
Have it running as media server for a Squeezbox & running well.
Managed to delete or corrupt the Bluetooth driver & struggling to fine a copy online...let me know if you can help!
No support online anywhere that I can fine... no response from Beelink.

I have the beelink p1 and the p2 both came activated even after a system refresh.
But I'm not seeing the windows 10 upgrade pop up on both. I also have a linx 8 tablet also running 8.1 with bing and that's not seeing it either. Hopefully win10 will be coming to these devices.
The P1 does get a little hot after a shot time of use but runs amazingly well.
The P2 runs cool no heat cooking. But it doesn't say in the specs but comes with a built in battery.

I think i'm going to try the P2... Nice price right now.

Got this unit about 2 months ago, installed Windows 10 as soon it was available and it works perfectly
Unlike the original Intel compute stick, no problems with BT devices and no noise from fan.
Using it as a HTPC with Kodi (now on 15.2) and could not be more pleased.
It also runs Asphalt 8 with zero problems (and Xbox One gamepad support), so its ideal for a simple but usable Windows PC, either for entertainment or simple workstation.
One thing that i can't found is a method to access the firmware to unlock the CPU speed (its locked at max 1.33Ghz, so turbo mode is never activated if needed), anyone got suggestions?

But i do have problems with activation and downloading stuffs from baidu ,drivers etc. Please some one to make mirrors for latest firmware ,drivers-old ways to download from baidu didn't work .This is support page i try to write to this guys ,but more than a month zero answer.This is link of there download page,if someone know how to download without Chinese applications ,please do share

What are you talking about? The P2 comes with Win8.1 in English and ZERO software from 3rd parties.
You can stick a USB bootable storage device on one of the USB ports and install any OS you want from scratch...
If you choose windows 10 or even 8 the hardware is all detected and supported out of the box, plus windows update will install the latest ones. As for firmware, as far as i know there aren't any updates/backups/images... you are stuck with the UEFI that came from factory.

Here are my thoughts on this device. Bear in mind that I am new to this category of devices. To me this device is a TV Dongle / box that tries to be a tablet. Either that or its a tablet with Identity crisis. This is marketed as a Tablet or MiniPC. This I suppose it can do with caveats. As a TV Box, its got advantages compared to other devices in that category and some downsides as well.As a tablet, it does not do well compared to the other devices in that category. But I am getting ahead of myself.

OVERALL IMPRESSIONS -
Being powered by Intel, usually means good things. Especially with the whole Win-tel combination dominating PC world for years. However in recent years, Intel's foray into the world of tablets has had mixed response. Those devices are great as a portable computer or Net Enabled device. However, when you consider Non-Windows tablets, the place is dominated by other SoC Manufacturers. Particularly in case of Android, there has been very little support from developer community to Intel based devices. So you are likely to see smaller collection of apps in Google Play for Intel based devices. Now, if we were to look at TV Sticks/ Mini PCs, the things go further downhill. For one, Intel has decided to exit this market. So, no wonder the response to Nexus Player based on Intel has been tapering.
Given that kind of background, we take a look at the Pipo X9. To be honest, I do feel that this device is attempting to perform different roles for different people and ends up being jack of all trades. For one, the lack of a battery pretty much kills any aspirations it has of becoming a tablet. Being permanently tied to the wall is not anyone's idea of a portability. That being said, the wedge shape also precludes being portable.
As far as ports and interfaces are concerned, we do have decent coverage. Along the right side, we have a pair of USB ports along with a Earphone jack and the speaker. That side also happens to have the power button and volume control. Along the back side, we have another pair of USB ports accompanied by the expected HDMI port and RJ-45 lan port. There's also a slot for a micro-sd card. But I won't be using that at least. That side also sports a big Wireless Antenna making for a pretty stable wireless connection. The X9, when booted, offers a choice of booting in either windows or Android with a default to whatever OS you were in last time.
WINDOWS EXPERIENCE -
Honestly, I am not a big fan of Windows touch. As a desktop OS, it has its place and uses. However, I found that accuracy of recognizing touches as being low. Being able to get to what I want efficiently is not straightforward. But let's not delve into merits of Windows.
The X9 when booted into windows 10 home, brings you to an unsecure user login. I found the navigation was similar to my other laptop with Windows 10. The fact that this is more portable than the laptop does make it easy. So if it comes to hooking up your laptop to a TV vs the X9, the X9 wins hands down. I do think it actually puts windows touch to a good use that it was meant to do, when connecting to a TV. With VLC picked up from App store, I soon had a nice movie going from network location. Sound reproduction was pretty good but albeit on the low side. However, Gearbest.com had also sent me Bluedio H+ turbine with the X9. So the sound problem was temporarily sidelined.
ANDROID EXPERIENCE -
Android side when treated as a TV Stick and not as a tablet, then you are working with right expectations. You have Android Kitkat out of box with possibility of update down the road. I won't hold my breath though. Essentially, its 8 & 1/2 inch form factor is slightly larger than that of your average TV mini-pc. You have pretty much 8 GB allocated to Android if you have 32 GB version. There's not much bloat out of box. The apps are pretty much standard plain vanilla Android. I was wondering about the Root. However, when I installed SuperSU, it informed me that its already rooted and just needs newer binaries. That updated, Root Checker confirmed that I have root. That's one less to worry about.
However, the Intel Graphic Chip offers additional up-conversion of the HDMI signal offering better hardware decoding. This shows up when you play movies at 1080p. The HDMI out does its job. Unfortunately, the device is not recognized as a CEC Device (Consumer Electronic Control). Oh well, think I am being picky.
CONCLUSION -
The Pipo X9 is a decent TV Stick with a Dual Boot of Windows 10 or Android Kitkat. The Intel Z3736F's Quad Cores offer decent performance without any lag or delay for normal web browsing or playing off of Youtube. As a TV mini-pc, the X9 offers greater flexibility of a touchscreen without having to use a remote. Its built-in speakers are good enough for the job but may appear as limited due to the form factor. Performance over Bluetooth is nice over a distance of 10 meters. HDMI performance is on par with other TV Sticks based on AMLOGIC Chipsets.

How can I connect my external HDD to USB and find out it in Android mode?
My external HDD is using NTFS format as It can share with Windows and storage files larger than 4GB (films)

You may connect it with the USB Port. But this device does not offer OTG.

Do you know how to boot this device into recovery? Or get it to boot from USB stick? I just bought one and want to make a full image backup before I start messing about with it.

You can try quick boot app on android.

Custom rom?
Does anybody know whether there a custom rom (Android 5 . ...) for these devices?

Just bought the X9S, but the windows installation was corrupt. Installed a new copy of Windows 10 from Microsoft. Works well but lacks a lot of drivers and can't find them!!!
Make a bootable USB and plug it in the console. Then hold in the volume up and down buttons when you switch it on. This should put you into the BIOS menu. Change the boot order to boot from USB first. USB stick needs to be plugged in or BIOS won't see it and give you the option. You also need a USB mouse/keyboard plugged in to make your selection!
You can apparently also press f7 if you have the keyboard and USB stick plugged in.
Make sure you obtain the drivers as wireless and touchscreen among other things won't work without them!

You can put Windows 10 Pro on an X9.
Create a bootable Windows 10 USP Stick from ISO. Plug in and start the Pipo X9. Before also plugin a mouse and a keyboard. When starting your Pipo press F11 and you will see the Bios setting.
Set your USB stick in the boot menue on first position and start again. During installation from windows you have to remove all partitions so that you have only one partion. Go on installing Windows 10 Pro.
Off course you will so loose your android partition but if you need you can install later again. Your Bootmenue from Pipo will not be lost.
For the missing drivers i used a windows software called "Driver Booster" from IOBIT. With this software i can install all the missing driver because it searched for them and installed them. I think it also works for X9S.

Hi. I bough a Pipo and sent it back because touch screen isuues. I got a new one with the same problem: the touch sensitivity is bad. For the ones with the same problem, I installed TouchRecalibrate.apk in android
The app isn't in the app store. I used it and I can say that it increases the touch accurancy very much. It still not perfect, but i feel a very noticeable improvement

We use PIPO x9 in W10 mode to display Movies for public though HDMI 40 feet away form the PIPO, under W10 you'd instantly have access to your HD ntfs...

....Hi just came here for the exact same wish !!!
First I know you can boot - other Android device - into Recovery mode using HOME+POWER+VOLUME DOWN press down all at the same time.
As soon as the reboot starts, you may press VOLUME UP to have the Recovery menu appears !
I'm interested in knowing if you could make any backup of your PIPO
(and possibly restore it sucessfully with any software - even more crucial)
My pipo is in use so I cannot really afford to "jam it" doing backup/restore ops.
Can you update us about that ?

Ey guys, i removed the android partitions from windows and i am trying to extend the windows C partition. but the order of the partitions in windows dont allow me to do that.
My last option is to reinstall windows 10 completely. I am trying to get the latest version of windows 10 on there.
I have the 32 GB (not so dual boot anymore ) and the current windows partition is 20GB.
Is there a way to boot in to the USB?

Chuwi HiBook is one of the most cost-effective 2-in-1 tablet. Chuwi official price about this tablet is $239, but now the Amazon sale price is only $209. Compared to other 10.1 inch 2-in-1 tablets, I think it's very reasonable and affordable.

Is there an optional color?
Is there only gray Chuwi HiBook? I am interested in this tablet, but i perfer gold tablet. Is there an optional color?

I consider buying this to replace my old onda v919

I just received my new Chuwi HiBook from a well known Chinese seller. I've been playing with it for the last few hours. Firstly Chinese bloatware uninstalled without any hassle.... And stayed uninstalled. Physically the tablet is quality, the metal backplate is particularly pleasing although it does warm up significantly when performing multiple tasks. I noticed this particularly when mass installing my favorite apps. The screen is crisp and clear, blemish free. So far very little lag, but it's early days. Most of the games I play are strategy so I can't really tell. Only one annoyance, the speakers are right where your hands are when holding the tablet so although Chuwi have considerably improved the speaker performance, it's wasted when they're often covered by your hands when gaming.
Hopefully this thread will grow as more people receive their tablets.

In order to watch movies, surf in the internet, read and office is this enough ? Is this fluid ? I think it should have 4G technology!

The CHUWI HiBook is WiFi only, there is no 3g or 4g version. I've been streaming films and watching downloaded video via Wi-Fi with smooth results. My comment about the speakers earlier is less important when watching video as you don't tend to be holding the device. As with ask new hardware I'm still getting to grips with it, I've found a few games which wrong run properly which is disappointing, but they weren't problems connected to processor speed.
I accept the fact that this is a budget tablet which is trying to be a pc as well, there are frustrations, but short of paying twice the price I don't think you'll find anything much better. It's early days, I could eat my words but there's already been a m OTA update pushed from Chuwi so they're obviously attending to issues.
It would be good to see some developers playing with one of these, the potential is good.

Anyway I got mine too and I'm loving the metal back. Charging via Type-C is fast too, even faster than my Hi8. I can't root Android using the existing guides on the internet, but the good news is the bootloader can be unlocked (I used the fastboot command instead of developer options, that doesn't work). I think this needs a custom TWRP to flash SuperSU properly, but no builds for the HiBook are available.

Hopefully a kindly dev will invest in a HiBook and get some ROMS started. From my point of view I'm not going to root it until I see a firmware listing. I've asked Chuwi to post it on their site and they seemed willing. They opened a forum for me so they seem quite helpful.
I'm really enjoying my new book, a few frustrations but on the whole it's a good machine. Kodi runs super smoothly with the "lateralus" build from the "easy kodi setup" app. Let's keep this thread active and share any additional links and information we find.
First to find a recovery and custom ROM wins a Snickers bar!

I'm interested in this tablet, my previous experience with the ASUS T100 was that those rubber nips on the keyboard kept on falling off 2 weeks into using it and the screen wouldn't shut off properly, are you experiencing the same thing?

Hi, I'm very intrested in this tablet but I got some questions.
Is it charging on USB Type-C?
What about the micro-USB port? Does it support OTG? Is it possible to connect a external 2,5" HDD?
On my Teclast X98 Plus this is not posdible, the tsb does not deliver enough current! I also have really great problems with sd card on windows so I will send it back and hopefully get my money back to buy a Chuwi HiBook.

Hello,
Chuwi HiBook has micro-USB port and USB Type-C port ( Power interface). It also support OTG function. I think it is a good tablet.

So you can connect a 2,5" hard disk drive with a OTG cable without extra power for the hatd disk?
Does the tablet deliver enough power? Is the tablet recognizing the hard disk?
If it does, I will get one too.

Sorry, I haven't try to connect a external 2,5" HDD So i can't give you a definite answer right now. But the most tablets need extra power for the hard disk. Thanks.

I want to buy one that doesn't need extra power like the asus transfomer pad tf300 or Acer Iconia I had before .....
It's an important spec for me.
Could you try this for me if you got the time? Would be very nice from you.

Hi avalanche99, you're talking about the keyboard? Because if it comes down to it you could plug it directly into the tablet USB port itself. Also any reports on battery life?

It is possible to re-install android without losing windows. You need Intel's Flash Tool Lite. I used 64bit win 10.
1) Power on the HiBook while holding volume up and volume down. You should get the Chuwi logo and the words "DNX FASTBOOT MODE.."
2) Windows on my machine didn't use the right driver. I had to manually change the "Intel Android AD" device driver to "Android Composite ADB Interface"
3) Once the driver was changed, the intel flash tool recognized the HiBook
4) Browse to where you extracted the HiBook Android.rar file. 7zip works great for extraction
5) Choose "update" in the configuration drop box.
6) Start the flash. For me, it got do 25% and stopped. The HiBook rebooted to the normal android recovery
7) Windows again got the driver wrong. The HiBook shows up as a different device, so I had to again manually select the "Android Composite ADB Interface"
8) I power cycled the HiBook,entering DNX boot and restarted the flash. This time it worked.
My HiBook now boots both windows and android.
Some other tidbits:
1) Press ESC or DEL to enter the BIOS at the CHUWI splash screen
2) Press F7 to get a boot device selection menu
3) The left and right arrows, followed by enter can select windows or android instead of the volume rocker

Have always wanted to be able to TV out from my android devices, gaming predominantly (but it works great with Keyboard and mouse for office type work and email)
I don't play all the time; but every now and again in work or whilst travelling it's a cool thing to do, especially when you can max it out on a TV and have very little input lag, bluetooth pad and a decent game.
In the past I've had a couple of connectors:
Samsung MHL (official) £27
Anker USB-C - HUB £39.99
Both did the job perfectly on previous devices quite well and have been re-used since when the tech was there to be used.
However with the Oneplus 5 and other similar devices (s8, LG G6, probably the U11 and the Pixel / Pixel 2) They did not include the hardware for us to be able to TV out with a cable that has worked in the past, like the ones I've listed.

The good news is there's a way round it and the only way around it I've seen is to use Displaylink tech, for the most part they work quite well however there are some limitations, in the past for example you could charge your device at the same time; for whatever reason Displaylink doesn't allow that, you can power the dock but not the phone which is a shame, they're pretty expensive, although some are substantially cheaper than others.

There is another downside which I'm trying to figure out (please if anyone can help with that I'd really appreciate it)
This does not work on OOS type ROM's for the moment. <----------Nougat only, Oreo is fine now.
If you are running LOS or AOSP type ROM's this will work perfectly, tested thoroughly with RR <------- Again this refers to Nougat only, Oreo works as expected with both OOS and AOSP/LOS
Here's the link to the dock / App and converter I'd suggest to use, it's small (ish) and with a USB-C to USB-A (female) converter it connects without fuss, you'd also need the Displaylink application for this to function.
Note* It's quite difficult to find one of these available now but if the Displaylink tech is the key to it then any adapter should work, I've also tested my 1+5 on a dual link display dock (targus) and that works fine too.

Just install the application
Connect the converter to the dock, power on the monitor / TV and then plug it in.
Once plugged in you'll get a prompt, agree and start presenting (Check the box to not show again)

Yes they all work as expected, i believe the Ethernet is the only one which doesn't, untested.
The rest are fine, you can also power it with a 5V DC micro USB

No none of them use display link technology so they will simply not be detected.
I have tried around 10 different docks, all of which work on my HTC 10 as it does have the hardware, but the OnePlus and literally all this year's flagships do not, I'd be interested to see if the HTC u11 had added the hardware for TV out.
Won't help us but it says a lot for HTC not complying to Google's standards.
Google for whatever reason actually have a USB-C - HDMI cable which they are still selling but it doesn't work on the pixel?? Figure that one out lol.
I do think that one of these Displaylink adapters which perhaps requires slightly less power will be perfect for what we need, so size wise you're heading in the right direction.

Aye not cheap.
Soon as you put Displaylink on it it doubles in price...
I need to buy the cheaper,/ smaller option.

Testing with Resurrection remix, has been rolling Youtube now for over 2 hours without a single hang or hiccup.
Luckily RR now has the OOS camera installed which works almost as expected (missing exposure shots in pro mode and the depth effect notification)
Beyond that it's a beast of a ROM so i'll be sticking with this as everything I need now works.

Just wanted to let you know that I, for one, am watching this thread and others on which you are posting about displaylink and the OnePlus 5. I too am interested in using it as a retro console emulator and other things.
If you do find a way to get these displaylink devices working on the stock device - I'd love to know!!
[Also, as an aside, if you've found a good setup using RetroArch or other apps on this device, I'm sure there'd be others that would also appreciate your thoughts]

Haven't used retro arch.
The best combination I've found is listed.
None of the kernels I've tried have changed anything at all, reason I hadn't mentioned anything is because I wanted to bring don't good news.
Best combo is for rooted phones.
Any ROM besides OOS type ROMs.
Personally using fusion as it has the OOS camera working pretty much perfectly.
Os wise there is little to no difference, even the battery life is amazing.
The power issue is beyond me, so unless a Dev wants to take a look I can't see it getting done.
Plus as I'm very happy with this ROM and there is very little if any reason to go back to OOS I think this is where it ends mate.
Thing is, it you're stock then it won't work, it you're rooted then there's no reason to stay with an OOS ROM, there are more options on non OOS, themes even work better.
Beyond that the only issue is the pricing, haven't bought the smaller dock yet, I'm still using the one I've listed.
Does work very well.

Updated OP for use with Oreo, now OOS allows usage past 10 minutes. Works really well.

Could you try and tell me if DRM protected apps (like Netflix) are working with this adapter? If you record your display it wont be shown.

No nothing is protected at all, it is usually around a 30-40fps mirror of what is on your device, couple it with a keyboard and mouse and it's a little computer , I use Citrix for work on it, it's absolutely superb, you would be forgiven for thinking it's a computer.
The rules that come with wireless devices like Chromecast do not apply here at all and never will.
Your only problem is actually buying the device, I've got several, two of which I like the rest are too big to carry around although they do provide much higher fps and sightly faster latency, but the small one I have listed does a great job, for media it's perfect, gaming is fine.

Is this really the least expensive option for wired display? I could buy a new monitor for the price of that Targus thing.

Is it okay to post a review of the HP Pavilion eh1070wm laptop

Recently purchased a hp pavilion eh1070wm laptop from Walmart as it was on sale for 599$ and needed a upgrade my 2011 MacBook Pro well technically mid 2010 but was manufactured in early 2011. The hp has as base 8gb of ram but can be upgraded to 32gb of ddr 4 3200mhz and can actually handle a 2tb Samsung evo 970 nvme drive as I thought with that capacity and faster speeds vs original that it would overheat apparently not which I’m glad it can handle it just fine so far. Went from 512gb to 2tb and ram upgrade as mentioned before . Well if I’m allowed since there’s barely any reviews for it out in the wild I will do one if this gets enough votes, and people wanting me to do so. Forgot to mention it has a AMD Ryzen 5700u with boost clock up to 4.2 ghz though base is 1.8. Hopefully this helps someone wondering about this model. Geekbench 5 scores and how it looks are in the attached images. If anyone wants a review of this laptop be free to let me know if I’m in the green to proceed

One more thing this laptop can run Linux but a few caveats. For the Wi-Fi you need a Linux kernel module driver for the rtl card which I’m on my phone, so tomorrow I will tell you guys which card it has. Hopefully the next Linux kernel release adds this card for support if not no real big deal at least for me. Also it states it comes with a intel wireless card if you look up the laptop model on hps site, but if your like me and bought from Walmart new than you may get the Realtek version. One more thing it does indeed come with windows 11 not 10 as it stated, but your shipment may come with 10 and the intel wireless card so
Also for those that may have this laptop, look here for help In getting Linux running as someone on GitHub and Reddit that has a Lenovo laptop with similar specs got it working but needed to do a few things but it’s possible at least. It’s a wonderful windows 11/10 business laptop out of the box. Also it can do some light gaming like forza 5 at medium and a setting or two at high with about 33-40 fps at 1080p and halo master chief collection with all halo games so far on normal with 45-60 fps. I’m gonna stop as I basically did a mini review.

I would suggest running latest the Linux kernel on which ever distro you decide to run. I Found latest ubuntu 20.04 lts works well with Kde plasma haven't tested other distros but one thing to consider is that the Wifi Chipset is a RTL8852AE Wifi 6. Some others come with the intel one I just got a bit unlucky but after looking for the kernel module for this and researching I found as long as you do tethering to the laptop from a phone or connect a WIFI dongle temporarily that's all ready in the kernel and follow the instructions the internal wifi will work. Everything else Audio, Usb C, Trackpad, Keyboard, Web Cam thought only 720p but hardware fault, and etc works out of the box at least. Heres the wifi driver.

Battery life on power saver or balanced CPU governor is about 4 to 5 hours depending on use. If you decide to go for performance than battery life is more like 2 to 3 with heavy use. I mainly bought this laptop as a desktop replacement which works great for me because the Usb C does HDMI and I have the laptop screen so I have a total of 3 screens when needed and the Cpu, Apu, and Memory for great performance comparable to the Ryzen 7 5700G but more like the AMD Ryzen 5 3600G which is perfect for me when it comes to compiling and such. I usually use this laptop plugged in with my monitor setup except when I need to go somewhere which these days and remote work is usually never especially with Covid. Some point I plan to organize this thread or create one for reviewing this Laptop. Depending on what people want I will probably just keep this as is and change the title/heading to HP Pavilion EH1070WM Laptop review. Also sorry its been a month I have been busy lately with online college along side with work.
