Woot released working good by the way one other bug is selinux changer causes fc after first use

Sorry to be one of the first to react. You may not like me because I 'leaked' a previous release of you. Since you all seem to be the same developers, why are you making a second CyanogenMod?
Anyway, I'll try it!

We are the same team and I hold no hard feelings you at least acknowledged what you did was a little wrong. We made this one because it doesn't experience the blackout bug that the official version has on my variant which is the xt1625

Wow!! Thank you so much! I have the xt1625 and have been waiting for CM compatible with the single SIM variant. I can't wait.
Cheers!!

It has been fixed since yesterday.
That's why it was not released.

This by the way is temasek not "stock" cm...

Finally, it's here......!!!!
Way to go guys..... super cool. Great work Vache
Its super cool n I'm making it my daily use ROM now.
N yeah, Laser autofocus does work but is glitchy, yet focuses between two un-equally distant objects.
Not with more. Still it's working I see.:cyclops:

Thanks all involved... Confirmed as working on xt1622 single sim... ... Even sim card

Ok, installed it and everything working fine!
But: as you're telling here, it's clearly not 'stock' CM... It has nice features in the settings, but this rom is clearly deviating from the original CM. No problem of course, but it'll never be official CM like this! (And that's probably why you guys made a second rom...).

You're right man. Cause there is still blackouts on some devices at first boot with CM, we decided to release the temasek one. The goal is clearly not to became official with this.
We just want to release a working ROM.

Exactly we felt that the flashing community was chomping at the bit to get off of stock and we as a team are giving them that opportunity. We don't see a harm in having a slightly deviated version of cm released especially in this case where stock cm has huge bugs that keep it from functioning correctly on certain devices. Yes this is temasek but all in all its still a working cm with a few goodies added in the end its a great place to start.

What's up, no XT-1644 listed

Yeah. Does it work on XT-1644?

When pressing cellular networks from settings, phone crashes and signal is lost temporarily. It also pops up a sim select screen. Also when first started, the signal icon switches from LTE to R and stays as R. Roaming status in sim status says roaming as well. Link to logcat below, let me know if it doesn't work, I've never done before. Xt1625
E: the device is not actually roaming though, as my provider does not allow roaming but everything works

unsure if it matters but my provider is CDMA with the LTE sim rather than gsm. outside of that I have no idea what might be the cause

Finally!!
Thanks for this. I have been waiting for this forever. Patience has finally paid off!!
Perfect timing, thanks!
I request you to submit your changes to CyanogenMod. If they accept it,then D803 will get daily builds as well automatically!
Does anyone know if Skype is working on this? On the other ROMs for D803, Skype audio is breaking off.

I've been taking to a few cm guys about getting d803 supported. And about skype, it should get fixed soon, still a bit buggy with audio.

Thanks, it will be nice not to have to flash three different files to make the d801 builds work on the d803.

thank a lot for quick responses! will be testing tonight and let D803 flashaholics know the results in a couple of days!
I haven't noticed any bugs since i flashed it on friday, getting around 3.5 to 4 hours of screen time.
Thanks for the build zr239! I haven't flashed a new ROM on this phone in probably 10 months, but tonight is the night. I'll post my experiences and hopefully not have to post anything bug oriented

2.8.5.0 or above. I recommend and use the latest releases by blastagator. He has a thread, or if you want to go directly to his releases, here
I went ahead with 2.7.0.0 anyway and it seemed to install fine. Are there any issues expected with this?

Anyone have success with getting xposed installed on cm12? Also auto rotate doesn't work.

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

I didn't notice that. The phone freezes ? It appends when you wake up the phone ?
Cores from little cluster should be still online cause the phone can't run without at least one core online.
Also, did you flash/install something like scripts or kernel apps after flashing the ROM ?

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

3.Flash the ARDE(CM or CM OC) kernel(because the stock kernel wont boot),or try my own kernel(made from stock source, just smacked KCAL inside it...Fast,snappy,and better cause I made it xD)

Double tap to sleep has stopped working ever since the sources have been modified by Unjustified Dev around a week ago. But hey,at lesat now all variants can use ARDE kernel without having random reboots.
PA is just showing me a middle finger,I didnt even try with dirty unicorns or CRdroid. I am currently trying with SlimLP.
But my hard drive is already almost full(SlimLP directory will take up the final 100 GB left)
I have a 500 GB hard drive with CM build folder(94 GB),Vanir(90 GB),AICP(96 GB),a 50 GB partition for windows and 38 GB of swap partition, and the Ubuntu with all the necessary tools obviously takes at least 50 GB,leaving me with around 100 GB for another rom(most likely SlimLP,or any other first rom which successfully builds).
Hello marionette, another nice work ?
Question by incompetent. ?
But you can not produce new building on the old base?
Let me explain in your building 19/12 everything worked well enough for those who need to replace the kernel with the most suitable one for your model. Since you have built to date sources on the double touch disappeared in my view essential.

See,for me,everything became good on the 20/12 build, after the sources were renewed.
I do not have the desire to go back to source which caused random reboots for me with ARDE kernel.
Besides,I am following latest sources, and Unjustified Dev will surely fix it back(only he can kick out the bad changes made by dianlujitao).
I am sure @dianlujitao didnt mean anything bad by making changes, but he tried making changes where they werent even needed, and broke double tap to wake...
Okay, then I'll try when the problems will be resolved to the double touch. Anyway, thank you for your commitment even during Christmas this shows a real passion for what they do.

You made changes to the files which were in charge of double tap to wake.
You probably meant well,by removing old files, and maybe rerouting new files, and most likely missed something.

But that was the only thing that couldve affected double tap to wake.
But other commits had c457 on them, yet they still affected the 5.5 variant greatly.

CAF-AOSP for the Huawei GX8
Based on the kernel and device tree of @surdu_petru. Without his work on this device this would not have happened. Thanks to @yuweng and @gopinaidu77 for their help in making the appropriate changes. Also thanks to @earlymon and ncrypt3d for helping me out along the way. Lastly, and certainly not least, thanks to @crpalmer and the rest of the kiwi team. Please let me know if I've left anyone out.

11/9/16 - Sorry for the **** build. New one should be good to go. *edit* [email protected] swear filter.
11/7/16 - Data while sleeping should be fixed. Thanks to @InkSlinger420 for pointing me in the right direction.
10/13/16 - Reverting to the former GPS blobs (see CM13 thread) breaks this rom.
10/08/16 - Some minor changes were pushed to the source. Included here.
9/28/16 - Changed model number to RIO-L03. Insignificant if you have the RIO-L01 variant. Probably the last update until either 1. CAF repo is updated or 2. Changes to fix bugs from the CM13 thread.
9/26/16 - Changed DPI to 440 (default is 480). If you don't like it, use a DPI app in the play store to change it back.
9/24/16 - added latest device changes courtesy of @surdu_petru. should see improved battery life and performance.
9/20/16 - removed NFC code. should see slightly better battery life. updated sources in OP.
9/13/16 - Initial Release
Double Reserved.

Yes. Already done and need to make a thread for it. Can find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gx8/how-to/various-roms-gx8-t3448696
Hey bro... I really enjoy this ROM... I have just a couple of questions:
Is there any way to fix the offline charging animation?
Also I get an error using open Gapps stock package, however the micro package works fine. Is there any way to use the stock package?
Thanks
1. Not that i've found yet. the same thing happens on AOSP-based roms on the honor 5x. Not sure what's up with that, but it does seem to charge when powered down.
2. Larger open gapps packages are broken on this rom. Not sure what the problem is. I recommend banks gapps for this rom. Also slim is very similar and works fine with the larger open gapps packages. has latest security updates as well.

Just a couple more questions:
I noticed my signal seems to be weaker though I haven't experienced any drops. Is that to be expected? I've noticed it particularly on 4G.
Also, will the latest security patches be included in the next update? I really like how clean this ROM is do I prefer it over other roms like CyanogenMod/Resurrection/Slim
There hasn't been much activity on the repo this ROM is built from. I'm not sure if it'll see anymore updates. I plan to include hardware fixes if/when they happen.
this ROM is awesome!
My RIO-L03 gets really slow with original huawei EMUI 3. I was expecting official EMUI 4 update but finally ran out of patience and decided to hack it. Flashed it with CM13 yesterday. All worked fine except cellular network. Then switched to this ROM and it worked beautifully. Fast and Smooth, no redundant useless packages. Can't be happier with it now. Thank you very much for creating this wonderful ROM!

the problem is that the GPS blobs this uses apparently don't like waze (i've been unable to replicate that issue, but i didn't use the app long). the GPS blobs that do work with waze cause two problems: 1. anything that uses GPS on the aosp rom causes an instant reboot. 2. they absolutely destroy battery life on the roms it does work on (see: CM13).
Not very good news

pretty sure the new build is garbage. working on a fix.
*edit* can confirm. wait for next build. sorry about that.

Information for Reliance Jio Users on how to activate VoLTE. Follow instructions to the T. Thank you ==vj== for the instructions.
Make sure you are on the latest baseband M8952_70009.08.03.48R.
Jio SIM should be in slot1.
Complete the setup wizard normally after flashing ROM & GAPPS ( flash arm-6-pico if using opengapps ).
On CM and Vanir, APN is set to jionet by default. If its not, goto Settings->SIM Cards->SIM1 Settings->Access Point Names and change as follows. Name=jionet, APN=jionet, APN Type=default, APN Protocol=IPv4/IPv6. Click here for screenshots.
Goto "SIM CARD" settings and select calling sim as JIO. This can also be done during setup.
Select sim1 settings (JIO) & toggle enhanced LTE option enabled. This is required to activate the volte option in dialer. If enhanced VoLTE option doesn't show up, goto APN settings and select Bearer as LTE alone. Then manually select Jio4g from mobile networks. That should enable enhanced LTE option for sure.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
How is this different from this thread?
Well it isn't, apart from the fact that I get to update the OP with latest details of my builds. This was also requested by many users as the old thread hasn't been updated in a while and I have received many pm's regarding this. If this is against the rules, mods are free to close the thread at any time.

If U Are Thinking About This Phone, Then No Planning Is Needed. I Think Its Best In Its Class, Brand, Software, Hardware, Camera, And A Lot Many Things.
Now, On Stock As U Know Everything Is Working
On CM Based Or AOSP, Everything Is Working, Yes The Chop Chop Is Somewhat Called Buggy And The Camera In WhatsApp Or Other Third Party Apps Seems To Be Not Synced With Flash Correctly But It Was A Bug Few Weeks Ago, I Think It Has Been Solved Until Now.
VoLTE Was A Major Problem Few Days Ago But As We Know The Devs And Users Were Restless, So This Was Also Solved.
Battery Life With Features On RR Is Best As Per My Experience And Quark Kernel Is Also The Best CM Kernel As U Can't Use Wi-Fi On Elemental X When Flashed On CM Based ROMs.
Most Featured ROM - RR (Credits To @Shreps)
Most Stable ROM - Beanstalk (As Per User Reviews) (C.T. @rahulsnair)
Most Battery Life ROM - CrDroid > CM > RR
Most Clean ROM - CM (By @Silesh.Nair)
Thanks If U Understood And Sorry If U Didn't.
Thanks for the update @Silesh.Nair! I'll be switching back to CyanogenMod again (though Vanir wasn't bad also!)

If I buy this, I will sure look why WiFi is not working on Elemental X.
I'm buying this because of it has 3.10.xxx kernel which is supported till October 2017.
I have read the other thread and I have got this -
* Audio playback
* SELinux
* Laser Auto Focus(LAF)
So, the above things still don't work? I certainly need SELinux status 'Enforcing'.
And what's Chop Chop?
Thanks.

Why are you comparing the contents of the old thread to this thread. Current issues with this ROM are very specifically mentioned in the OP.
Chopchop is a moto action wherein you activate the torch with a chopchop gesture.

There is no what's working section in the OP. One last thing to confirm, SELinux status and LAF(buggy or working or broken)?
Also, in OP you said the ROM uses 3.4.xxx kernel but in configuration file it's 3.10.xxx
