In this message you will find what my problem was and what I did to get my phone unlocked -
First - The Problem - (keep scrolling down to find the solution)
Here is the scenario:
I bought a Siemens SX66 on eBay.
IMEI 353030000772202
Model# PH20B1
CPU: Intel ® PXA263
ROM Version: 1.20.10 WWE
ROM Date: 10/08/04
Radio Version: 1.02.10
Protocol Version: 1337.38
ExtROM Version: 1.20.115 WWE
I live in Kimberly, Idaho, USA 83341 - Cingular is not available in this area but the SX66 is tagged for the cingular network. There is only EdgeWireless - A Member of the AT&T wireless network, but they have a different SOC (system operator code) and SID (system identification number) than AT&T or Cingular.
Problem - because there is no Cingular in this area, the phone will not work. when I put in my SIM from Edge Wireless the phone displays the SIMlock page with the following Error Message - "Network is locked, Please input unlock code"
I was told that the phone is SOC locked (limited by certain System Operator Codes) instead of SIMlocked I don’t know if this is the case, all I know is the error message that I get.
Now for the solution -
The solution for me is made possible by www.imei-check.com
For this week it is only available to members of MoDaCo

but soon you can go directly to www.imei-check.com and they will be able to help you, or maybe you could contact them now directly through email.
Anyhow, I downloaded their program and followed their instructions with one exception - in instruction #2 they stated
"2. Hold down [CAMERA] and [POWER] button......."
My SX66 doesn't have a camera and so I had to use the Record button (looks like a little audio tape) that I imagine is in the same place (it is on the left hand side with the up and down scroller - there is one button above the scroller and one button bellow the scroller. I used the one above it)
I had to pay their fee (20 Pounds) which was $38.85 USD because of the poor exchange rate ($1 USD = .514897 Pounds Sterling)
But after buying the phone on ebay when it first came out for $700 and not being able to use it for 2 months because of the SIMLock - I felt it was very reasonable.
Make sure you back up all your data before you start the process because when you do this it will erase everything that you previously put in it - It will revert back to its original "Out Of The Box" state.
They say it only takes 5 minutes from the time you submit your IMEI and your file that their program creates and pay for it with PayPal. Well I got
the code in like 10 seconds, but I had an issue with my restore through ActiveSync, it wasn't able to restore everything, but by trying restore 3 more consecutive times I was able to get everything back on the phone with it unlocked. It is so Awesome - I have been waiting to use this phone for 2 months - Thanks to all the people that made this happen. - RED

I would if I could. - The program only generates a binary file that you have to send back to the company and then they auto reply with your unlock code that is encoded in that binary file - if you think you can hack it I would be happy to send it to you - RED

I am desperate!!! Does anybody know how to get a free unlock tool for xda III? It´s impossible that people having xda I or II can unlock their device freely, and people having xda III can´t! Thanks!

I am not a software cracker or anything, but I can understand how things really work because of my electronic engineering background. I have good experience in assembly coding so I hope I can make some sense from the visible parts of code + the log file. I will keep you guys updated about this.

This is a disassembled SimLock.exe file. I think that someone can find how unlock code is calculated from IMEI number, because this exe file is responsible for that.
ITA-software is the backbone for the airlines industry's reservation system and is a very useful tool for all travellers.
i-phone has a neat application that plugs into their search engine and returns findings. It is not possible to buy the tickets, though; but is great to find your flights anywhere you go.

I bought samsung S4 mini on 18 october 2013 and after using it for about a month have noticed certain anomaly with the handset, which is also observed by various other users, have read a lot of forums including xda.
the issue is:: with the processor.. i suppose.
its clock fluctuates a lot as is observed by me by using an app CPU-Z.
actually need to check this arrived when almost all games - light / heavy showed lag/ stutter for few seconds in between. also same thing is also observed while in menu , or watching videos . i.e video appear as if it is shot in slow motion,occasionally..
while playing candy crush saga too..sometimes candies explod in real slow motion.. so maybe the problem is with some code related to the use of processor, its clocking speed, which forces the processing to reduce to a level which causes lag in games/ menu/ video playing... maybe the issue is with graphic handling...
kindly fix the issue as its bugging the otherwise a good handset.

In response to your email regarding "power off" in your Samsung mobile GT-I9192 would inform you that smart phone can be power off with many reason like install any third party application or software in the space given in the internal memory (e.g. call recorder and antivirus etc). It can be harm full for any smart phone. However, when you have utilized maximum storage from internal memory, your device may hang so for we would recommend you to delete some of the downloaded data from your phone for better performance.

i had this before rooting but after rooting my I9192 it didnt lag anymore

which files you removed after you rooted your device..? Which made it lag free.. Just bloatwares or something else also..

And I have the issue as yours, sudden lag every few minutes.

Can't get the IR Blaster to work, i put in my postcode (in the WATCHON app) and it says invalid postcode, with or without spaces.
Is the IR Blaster a USA app only?
WatchOn may be US only. Try Peel Smart Remote app, tablet came with it.
It's not a USA app only. Works fine for me here in Australia.

the Peel app i had to download, my TV won't work (is it because its not a Smart tv? Hello. I am from the UK (south) and mine is fine. Samsung plasma about 5 years old. Youview (freeview) - I had problems with the planner at first when I chose freeview so I just tried them all until it worked and now its fine..

Do a fake post code that has the same layout as yours.
Ie: if mine was po6 2tr I wouod say po8 3ed
So we know the amount of digits and spacing.
Mine did the same thing. I tried just putting in first half of post code and it worked

ive been using smart remote for a while. its the best. you cant go wrong with that. its in the google play store.

I'm using the Touchsquid Samsung IR Remote app. A little pricey, but it is truly awesome.
In my opinion Touchsquid is the most horrible looking piece of software I've ever used. Really.
Smart IR Remote every time...the database of IR devices is so much better than TS. It even supports my random IR lightswitch Get it, get it now!

I have got a very challenge and difficulty requirement from my customer about Android Phone QR Code scanning function:
My customer wants below functions with Android Phone QR Code(two-dimension code) scanning:
1) First, when customer using Android Phone to scan one QR code( we can call this QR code A), it will pop up one window with one website link, so the customer can double click the link to jump to the Internet website(we can call this website A)
(This function is easy and already done by us)
2) Close after step 1, when the customer open website A with mobile phone Internet Explorer , this website A will automatic add one favorite bookmark to the mobile phone Internet Explorer so the customer can quick access to the website again
3) When customer using Android Phone to scan another QR code ( we can call this QR code B), it will pop up another window with another website link so the customer can click to jump to the Internet website B!
But here is tricky and challenge point:
The customer also want the website B can add one favorite bookmark to the mobile phone Internet Explorer ,but the same favorite bookmark as website A!!
This means the favorite bookmark will be same as one Navigation page and will store all the QR code website quick link!!
4) The customer also want all the QR code related link ,like the website A and website B above show can be read offline , means even Android Phone out of wifi or network connection , the customer can still access and read all the content of the website A and B by click the quick link on favorite bookmark of mobile phone Internet Explorer!
Based on my development knowledge and experience ,for the below requirement 2),3),4), it will need collaboration with mobile phone Internet Explorer supplier ,need mobile phone Internet Explorer supplier open some interface and embedding into some code with mobile phone Internet Explorer! And we also need consider the cost involved since there are different mobile phone Internet Explorer users are using on the Android Phone! It is very hard to collaboration with different mobile phone Internet Explorer supplier!
So I’d like to ask help from all the Experts, Technology God here, is there any possibilities to using one simple way to realize the above requirement, especially for requirement 2),3),4)?
Means is there any possibilities we can realize cross mobile phone Internet Explorer platform or bypass the Internet Explorer?
