Oregon Trail (port of a PC classic...haha)
Snesoid!!! (gotta have that to play your snes classics!!)
Shortyz (crossword puzzle, with puzzles from LA Times, NYTimes, Newsday, USA Today, and other sources, downloadable daily...love it!)

Hey, no offence but those are tge type of games im avoiding.. When i mentioned 'decent' i meant high quality and good user interface. Thanks for the suggestions tho

You should basically look into getting all of Gameloft's games...go to their website and check out their Android offerings....target those.

I just got Plants vs Zombies, Bonecruncher Soccer, and Buzz the The Mobile Quiz from Playstation...haven't tried them yet...
You should basically look into getting all of Gameloft's games...go to their website and check out their Android offerings....target those.

Nah I think its good to show off the emulators but to actualli play them isn't so fun.
I have to wait around a lot in my work so I have these games to help me pass time. I dont play alll the games but I play most if them n I like to have a wide selection thats why I created this post.

Angry Birds ->>>> Quite Possibly the best/most addictive game I've played on a mobile platform
Jewels ->>>> Bejeweled Knockoff if you're into the puzzle thing (Free as well)
Tetris ->>>> Call me old school but I can never get enough of this one (goes by Tetronomis on Market, Free)
Kongregate Arcade is also a lot of fun, don't use it regularly but when there is free time, its decent entertainment.
By far the best games to have are...
-Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus ( if you don't have this game you trully aren't seeing what android is capable of. Ridiculous first person shooter)

phone is oc'd to 1Ghz, all games run buttery bottom smooth. running enoms official 2.14.2 w/pershoots kernel.

so does cyanogen, well they DID until I switched to samsung that won't drop source. also...
Asphalt 5 rocks. Ninjump is fun. EA's Tetris needs to be mentioned, and Pool Break Pro looks and feels great and u can play online with ur 3g connection.

Samurai 2 works perfectly for me. Looks sharp and runs smoothly. You can also add Dungeon Defenders to the 'good' list.

But in order to play these games on your SGS2 you need CF3D and the Tegra plugin
Dungeon Defenders works for about 5 minutes but when I get to the 4th wave of Deeper Well it crashes on me. I have uninstalled and redownloaded everything and still the same problem. Anyone else having this happen?

It doesn't crash for me, but it does get crazy hot by that time. I can't play this for more than 5-10 minutes because I'm afraid to damage my phone.
Mine gets insanely hot too. I was thinking it may have something to do with it crashing, maybe a fail safe but I doubt it.

all phones gets hot when they are on 3G/4G or WiFi, or 3D games a lot
Could be a fail safe. Maybe I never gave it a chance to crash by quitting manually.

that used to happen on my MT4G.. it would get insanely hot but it never FC on me
I'm looking at getting a couple gameloft games for my Xperia Play (R800x, Verizon).
what I'm looking at/for is something that will last me awhile, 10+ hours of gameplay preferably with good re-playability, in the following categories.
First Person shooter/Third Person shooter- Something like MC3(is it any good with Xperia play gamepad?) NOVA, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six®: Shadow Vanguard HD, Ive tried 9MM and don't really like it.
RPG/MMORPG- Order and Chaos or DH2 (Ive got DH3 already)
Action/Adventure-Sacred Odyssey, Avatar.
These would all be from Gameloft's mobile store, due to the fact they accept Paypal. Ive got enough for 2 games right now.
MC 2 and 3 have a very active multiplayer, as does NOVA 2. Shadow Vanguard is great but the multiplayer is dead, noone plays anymore. DH2 is my favorite game on here and I would say is very re-playable.
None of these games are so great that I'd call them very re-playable, and in fact I probably wouldn't pay full price either as Gameloft often has sales where they sell em for only a buck. Although its been a while.
Modern combat 3 is my favourite, xperia play controls are great on the WAPstore version. Multiplayer is great too
hmm ok, what about Sacred Odyssey and Order and Chaos?
