Don't see the download tab...
EDIT: OK I had to load it in browser to download.

I'm testing it now. Is the temperature in Kelvin?
Edit: nope... it's now showing 400 "temperature units"

i don't know, but I guess whatever it is, it's 10 times greater than real value, so i guess your real battery temp was 40.0°c

Everything is working well. I posted a link on the AOKP forum along with a link to the SELinux permissive boot.img
Do you think it is a good idea to have the boot.img link in your OP?

Does this work on stock u nrooted?
Sent from my XT1650 using XDA Free mobile app

I notice that the notification shows 73% while the app shows 43%

To make your selinux peremisive you can only use this command on every boot or init.d :
setenforce 0
Or simply use selinux changer apps
I don't recommend boot.img cause it's old kernel

Thanks for your suggestion. Which SELinux changing app?
I think that the percentage problem was because I disconnected the battery mod and reconnected it

Do you mind if we ship it in device tree for custom ROM ?
It will then be installed as system app and will not need root to work.

do you think LineageOS will accept this app on device tree ?
this app doesn't need root on permissive selinux (now we can deny root access prompt)
and in enforced selinux it can work by addressing this denials :
Code:
I/rymodpercentage: type=1400 audit(0.0:746): avc: denied { read } for uid=10266 name="gb_battery" dev="sysfs" ino=50256 scontext=u:r:untrusted_app:s0:c512,c768 tcontext=u:object_r:sysfs_greybus:s0 tclass=dir permissive=1
I/rymodpercentage: type=1400 audit(0.0:747): avc: denied { open } for uid=10266 path="/sys/devices/platform/mods_ap/greybus1/1-3/1-3.1/power_supply/gb_battery" dev="sysfs" ino=50256 scontext=u:r:untrusted_app:s0:c512,c768 tcontext=u:object_r:sysfs_greybus:s0 tclass=dir permissive=1
but for now i'm trying to read with root

Welp, no much difference. It has newer security patch, includes more battery saver steps (10%, 20%, 25%), keyboard with symbols on keys, and replaces ugly aosp sounds with google ones.

Any chance to enable the NEXUS 5 ant+ feature?
It has the hardware BCM4339.
In Marshamallow I use the [email protected] apk that enable this feature.
Sadly, it didnt works with Nougat.
Great work!
So.. Does this rom support multirom as default?
UPDATE!
Fixed camera not being able to save photos, added material gallery and eleven music player.

Great job on this OP the battery life is pretty phenomenal with stormbreaker , but could you please fix the tap to show ambient display when the device is locked , whenever convenient? DT2W works perfectly , it's just single tap to show ambient display that isn't working . Thanks alot !

Personally , the battery life has been far better for me on stormbreaker compared to elemental x , even though I set the latter to conservative at all times during the day . Also there's no lags or abrupt stutters with stormbreaker at all , it's smoother than the stock kernel and slightly more consistent in terms of performance than elemental x , atleast in my usage .

Hi
I have a couple of questions regarding the kernel installation
Can I install the kernel on a stock rom?
If not If I decide to use a custom ROM, I will need to install the kernel before installing the custom ROM Right?
Currently, with Normal Usage (Reddit, Whatsapp, etc) I get around 5 Hrs SOT on 90Hz
Can I expect to see an increase in the battery performance if I decide to use this kernel?

My main issue is that Whatsapp I belive eats the better part of my battery and it causes an Issue.
So once I unlock my device(Before installation of kernel), all data is wiped correct?

Hi @_4PERTURE_ I made a screen recording of StatixOS and uploaded it on YouTube. Hope this helps.
For some reason my F2FS /data partition cannot be properly detected by Lineage Recovery and I was initially unable to install. I reverted to TWRP, changed /data to EXT4, returned to Lineage Recovery and the install worked. But it might not have been the reason for working because according to Device Info HW, /data is still F2FS.
I cannot get into the Styles and Wallpaper menu.
Thank you for your hard work!

thanks for the video, it certainly give us a good heads up.
Have you tried in developers options:
windows animation scale
transition animation scale
and

all these three to set to 0.5 x and see if it gets even smoother and scroll much faster?

I tried and it does get smoother and scroll much faster, which is the direct effect of adjusting those values anyway. I can say with confidence though that coming from MIUI and other ROMs like Pixel Experience/PE +/crDroid/EvolutionX/ion OS there is no discernible difference in smoothness and scroll speed.
Hi, first of all thank you so much for making this ROM, having a fully functional Android 11 ROM within days of the Android 11 Launch is amazing! Something I noticed though, is that whenever I try to mount /System and flash the Magisk zip file, when I reboot the Magisk app says that Magisk is not installed. Is there a fix?

XDDD
Can you say in short what does all those features mean to guy who is not an expert, in comparison to stock?
- OneUI and GSI build.
- Upstreamed from 4.19.190 to 4.19.191
- Enabled all Native Governers
- SElinux enforcing.
I read about SElinux enforcing I know it is security feature that I saw in ASOP rom on different device.
Also question about flashing. How do I do it, as it is not a fully compiled rom, just a kernel?
With Odin as AP?
I have already rooted my device with Magisk.
Thanks!

hey, sure I would be glad to elaborate
1: that this kernel working in both ONEUI based ROM as well as GSIs
2: Upstreaming kernel: in short words it about to making kernel better by merging latest changes
3: Governors are kind of profiles if you want performance you can use that governer, if want low performance and good battery life you can go for that, is up to you. its basically tweak CPU to work on full potential or on its lowest according to your governors
About Flashing I have mentioned steps here read them.

It is stock recovery, you must have custom recovery like TWRP in order to install.
So, it is not possible right now? There is no support for this device from twrp as I just checked. How did you manage to install it?
Same question. I'm dying to try this out!

YAAP is a project founded by Adhitya Mohan (@poad42) and Ido Ben-Hur (@idoybh) with the goal of staying close to AOSP in design goals, offer a clean interface, do as much as original development as possible and avoid becoming a kitchen sink and cherry picked mess.
Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

i guess from now on we will have android 13 aosp roms. A flashing guide and screenshots from rom would've been really nice as i've never heard such rom before. How is the battery backup at 90hz?
If this is official how come there's no reference to it on yaosp.dev?
Will test this ROM later on. Hopefully SafetyNet is passed on this one.
Tested the ROM :
Smooth Display doesn't work. Unless forced from developer options.
Any QS kernel based ROM have : Stutters when opening Notification Center with notifications in it and as well CoDM game is crashing.
Overall the ROM is good. I just can't live with the performance of QS kernel in our device. ATOMX kernel is way better in my opinion but it's good nonetheless. I just don't have the time now to optimize the freq boost curve of QS kernel to improve the performance.

For smooth display it's a feature introduced by YAAP that named VRR, in future version there's an option to switch it. By now u can force it from developer options.
