So I am in China and have managed to register my address for the Mi 6 using my girlfriend's account and phone number. However, this doesn't say anywhere that it's reserved for me.
If anyone is ordering it as well, do you know if that's all I have to do at this stage? Or is there something else I can also do?
No payment has been taken or made at this stage so it all seems a bit ambiguous.

Please upload some "portrait mode" photos taken by mi 6 (Do they really look like their advertised pictures?) ... How's the headphone output quality with "usb c" adaptar? And is the stock charger a "quick charge 3.0" charger?

Hey I took some photos today with the portrait mode and they look really nice. As nice as the advertising ones I would say, as advertising ones usually have a little editing on them to give them a little extra pop.
Posting this from my iPhone 7 so I'll post the portrait pics as soon as I transfer them over later.
I haven't checked the headphone adapter as yet, but if it's anything like the iPhone 7 adapter, it should be fine. I don't foresee problems in this case.
The stock charged is a 3A charger. I don't think it has QC3 written on it but it should be judging by the ampere rating.

Mi6 arrived ( ordered from oppomart ) it has 3A charger and as I can see it is really intelligent... starts charging with low Amps and 5V then slowly goes up to 6V 2,8A... if the phone agree with this..
If I charge with my old QC2.0 charger then it is 5V 1,4A, if I charge the Mi6 using my QC3.0 charger then it is 6V 1.9A. Check my Video on the youtube, I cannot post external link here but you can search for Xiaomi Mi6 original charger on youtube.

yesh the wireless charging is like the palm pre you have to put on a replacement battery door BUT im going to buy this charging kit anyways cos the battery door is said to feel more premium coated in a rubber the induction coil is in the door.
the charging is like the palm pre you just put the device on a flat peice of plastic vola its charging

I'd heard that the stand was around £35. For a moment I thought Clove had got one, but that turns out to be the normal desk stand (I think, see http://www.clove.co.uk/accessories/samsung/samsung-galaxy-s3/cables-chargers)
Like the idea of the wireless charger because I've seen how easy it is, based on the three HP Touchpad's we've got in the house.

The Touchpad folks in the house haven't noticed any difference in charge time (apart from the initial one) between wired and wireless charging.
That said, the difference in the initial charge was quite long, (one TP was wired charged, the other two wirelessly), in the order of an hour if memory serves me. And if the Samsung charger is anything like the HP TP one then you don't have to be too precise with your device positioning.
Just wish that the Samsung S3's charger also allowed a headphone out - kind of like the old (?) Apple iPhone/iPod dock (the one with the remote). It'd be nice to give that Wolfson DAC a spin by using S3 as an iPod replacement.
The important questions are, is it compatible with my current PowerMat that I own. Also, I have read about PowerMat's new NFC charge card that should be out sometime this year. You swap out the NFC card with their NFC+Charge card and there is no need to switch phone backs.

What I've heard is that basically it was a last minute addition and was never going to be ready on time - it wasn't delayed, it was always expected to come this late after launch. Might get the LG Optimus LTE2 instead, as that also comes with wireless charging apparently.

Just remember, if it doesnt' work, dont' hate me. I have a Samsung QI charger and it works on my 2nd gen Nexus 7 as well as my Moto 360. Well, it did before I put a metal band on it and now my watch doesn't lay flat on it.

I left a message on huwei contact form (GERMANY) about 2 weeks ago and got reply today.
They told me that there is no charging dock planned...

Was it just a piece of double sided tape and a cap from a water bottle (dasani, evian, etc..)? Cause that's what I used.

I just got one from Amazon. The problem is that while it's charging fine, it does not do Warp Charging. That's bad because when you need the warp charge for a quick charge you have to fiddle out the connector. Looking for a higher power charger, like the ones for laptops.

My problem with those are they don't do data. I use Android auto so that is a must. The one I had didn't warp charge either. And they are kinda huge lol

I've seen several guys in Oneplus FB groups swear the Volte 2.0 does Dash. The Amazon listing for it says it transmits @ 5A, so that gels.
All the OEM Dashes from years past are doimg Warp.
My Titicute Dash cables I bought last year I can atest do Warp.
Volte 2.0 seems a safe bet. Worth giving a chance.

I guess that it doesn't explain why it didn't work for me. Very odd, o tried multiple chargers and it never did warp.aybe the cable was bad.

Did you test the original Oneplus cable that came with phone to Warp charge @joshuadjohnson22 ?
Seems a silly question, but I did notice something the day I got my phone and tested things:
For some reason I expected Warp charging to show up as green on my Ambient Display. Dash has always showed up blue and regular chargers white.
When I plugged in factory 7P cable, it was only blue. Nothing telling me what kind of charge.
It wasn't till I had the phone in lock screen that the Warp indicator showed up. ?*

Yeah I use the OEM charger every night. One says warp with a lightning bolt. The Volta just said charging.

Let us know how it works out. Pics if possible please. I'm hesitant because it looks like it protrudes more then mine. For comparison it takes 3 hours to charge using two different magnetic cables I tested with the warp charger..

i have some issue, when i charge with adapter 25watt my touch screen more sensitive in keyboard section, sometimes when i click keyboard too fast, i got double click word in my text area

sellers usually don't understand (and don't give a damn) about original chargers, even amazon is filled with fake ones, i'm lucky to have owned a redmi note 10 pro and i use its charger knowing it's 100% original
