Rom is build from sources not from other threads. Check here https://android.googlesource.com/platform/frameworks/base/+refs
https://github.com/PureNexusProject-Mod/android_frameworks_base/commits/n-mr2
Instead of copy pasting do go through the sources and see what is there. And for your original work, do you have your own device tree or kernel? And building ROMs in google cloud is completely free almost for 3months if you know how to use it. If someone needs donation it is the original dev of the ROM and dev which device tree and kernel you are using in the ROM.

Just to clarify, what exactly is your work for which you want credits? The kernel source is untouched from ontherunvaro and I don't see a device tree. And IMO, the PayTM banner is a bit TOO BIG. Sends the wrong message. If users like your work, they will automatically donate. PS: it's r17 and not r18 like miju mentioned. Please take care
Have a nice day

Look at your commits. Remove citrus.mk other wouldn't be there if it was build from scratch. The nice way is to fork it and give proper authorship to the commits instead of showing it as your own. Just learn without being ignorant.

seriously , that's totally squash commits from davi aex tree into 1 commits called " My commits"
i can see it https://github.com/PureNexusProject...mmit/2e3cc4c92a2216fddaf8d7106b89d085ba21c414
there is a du
also if we browse files starting from this commits "https://github.com/PureNexusProject...ree/14f4770593f36d77f847f9ac54bb2b88b89d5717"
we can found citrus and du files...
and why there is a rr string right there
https://github.com/PureNexusProject...kages/apps/Settings/res/values/rr_strings.xml
okay we already knew all of those lines comes from fedor, alvaro, and davi, diego, csranol
if you want to start something from scratch , we appreciate it ( seriously yes!)
but please, don't lie to us about your scratch tree, alright?
You respect us, we respect you

@ankit99 @Subhrajyoti Sen @miju12 guys i am really sorry i took it the other way rather i should learn from pro guys like you , i was a bit foolish in the matter really sorry from the root of my heart please guys forgive me , i am new here don't know a lot, you people are pro devs i am a noob , once again sorry guys , i will remove this thread if you guys still feel that it's not good , once again sorry this won't happen again , really sorry

Beans FTW!
Finally!
Thank you!!
Edit: ROM download links are not up yet. Patiently waiting...
And we're here too
Oh snap.
Not literally. I mean I suppose it's fine if you snapped your fingers or something similar upon reading the above, but it was wholly unnecessary... well not that anything WOULD be necessary really based on the reading of a random internet forum comment... unless of course the context was such that it had importance not directly knowable from the content itself, in which case it's more of a judgement call unique to the particulars of a given reader.
So... hmm... Let me rephrase.
Woot.

Hey, the link in the OP under "Downloads & Changelog:" goes to the Sailfish download post.
Just FYI since I, myself, narrowly avoided a catastrophe!
Anyone install this yet? Does it have the split navbar like stock? I've grown to really like that.

Yes. Not exactly like stock but you can modify it in many ways.. If the home button is missing hit the arrow out buttons to widen then hit save, to get it to show up.
This ROM is amazing. Most all mods are present, and it runs fantastic.
@freemini These nav buttons have been moved around a bit. Just the way I wanted it.
Have fun!
Can we expect pure nexus updates or is it still a test build with no further support? On the other side @BeansTown106 seems to support the device....
I´m ****ed up with my decision to stay on stable and solid DU with regulary RC updates or jumping on pure nexus train....
If the spare community can expect regular updates I`ll give it a try
Nandroid´s running now

well maybe being Official, it is sure that the rom will have updates? or something like that, meanwhile unofficial depends of the only user that made rom to update
i think that is the only reason? or something more

I will keep the rom updated till Android O drops, maybe even longer when enough peoples like it.
For me there is no advantage in an official rom... This has even the advantage of a custom hardware button menu in the PureNexus settings that does not exist on PureNexus usually
Any feedback? Rom looks really juicenice 400mb only I will test it today maybe
Another beauty for our beast
Here we go
Sent from my MI 5 using Tapatalk
Is it f2fs compatible?
i installed it and i felt it had really laggy animations, i don't know to explain, when you scroll on facebook for example, it "freezes" or "lags" (i don't know the term) and it is really annoying, is like when you are playing a game at 60fps but you have a lot of stuttering
anyways my phone is Mi5 32GB, maybe it is because that, probably for the 64GB they won't have any problem
Not working :crying:

I clean flashed, 'swap buttons', 'fingerprint as home' and 'fingerprint wake-up' does work for me.
Serious mate @33bca THANK YOU for this! This plus a kernel that really works well with this ROM = who needs a freaking iphone? I hope you'll be updating this ROM always. It's currently my top 1 ROM at the moment. Bold statement I know. But it's true.
After few minutes of experience
Rom is fast and smoot for daily usage
Bug is no data icon like h+ or 3g sign while data is on
I attached few screenshots
One request please add home button press to wakeup
Thnx for awesome rom

You never asked me to use my governor and hotplug
if you read my repo
android_kernel_motorola_msm8952
U aren't allowed to use Alessa governor, Alessa hotplug,Alessa Thermal or XPerience governor without my consent, these was made for XPerience ROM only
so please in new builds remove alessa hotplug it is a special feature for my xperience rom. =)
thanks.
Hey @EsromG5,
Just a suggestion - maybe you could consider renaming thread from "Moto G 2016" to "Moto G4/G4 Plus / Athene" just to avoid confusion for new users
And a big thank you for reviving PureNexus for us!

Did you tweak the kernel or are you using it as it is after flashing?

There's no need to do full wipe if coming from Gyu work, I'm I right?

Good for you
But stock is stock... Zero features...
I'd say... The ROM has been amazing.. Thanks for it.. SOT is great... However, standby still has a lot of drain.. Don't know if that's normal.. :/
One question too... Is their a way to stop the equaliser in the ROM.. I use zplayer and it has inbuilt equaliser, bass booster and virtualizer.. Somehow this equaliser messes up the player and none of them works.. So I get stock sound with no effect... I have tried disabling it with the help of ROM toolbox lite... Cleared data and disabled and restarted phone... But no use at all... Can this be solved?
Thanks in advance...

You can use TB or Link2SD to freeze the Equaliser app if you want to.

We are NOT responsible for anything that may happen to your device as a result of flashing ROMs, kernels, or installing any other mod. You are responsible for your own actions and bad decisions - so stop blaming others!
This is a user friendly thread. Please be respectful and courteous to other users. While feature requests will be considered, AquariOS tries to maintain a ROM that is smooth and stable, so adding every feature under the sun is not the plan here.
READ!1. Unless I tell you otherwise, you MUST always, absolutely, positively, most certainly wipe data AND system before flashing AquariOS...without a doubt!

@kenny3fcb, I have to say that this is a very good ROM. You have included the options and settings that I use the most. Including Nova Launcher was a genius move. Not sure why more developers don't included it in the other ROMs. You did an excellent job putting this together, thank you!
This rom is awesome, indeed! I'm loving it.
BTW, I'm having some FCs with system interface. Am I the only one?
No FCs here. Everything is running very stable for me so far. I did a clean install and wiped everything, even my storage, and everything is smooth and stable so far. I have only been running this ROM for a couple of days, so I haven't fully tested everything. The features that I use on a regular basis, though, run great. It isn't the fastest ROM from an antutu perspective with a score of 139242, but everything runs smoothly, and I have played some lite weight games with no issues. Battery life seems to be pretty good, see attached screen shot. So far, I would highly recommend this ROM.

Yes, you're right. I've messed up some system application, my bad, but I've already solved it. Now I'm not having any FC, this rom is a rocket. Battery life seems to be awesome too, I will use it for a few days and then give feedback.
Dev please add option to reset battery stats manually
Please add quick pull down too. Also the option to disable the x icon on the cellular data while it is turned off.

Thanks for sharing! Great job??
How's everything going here? Appears to be going pretty well.
Remember when updating (if you are going to dirty flash), first make sure you at least disable any substratum overlays you might have and redo them afterwards to avoid possible FC issues - that is the case with any ROM.
Hope you're all enjoying it!

So far everything is great with this rom. I have been using it for 6 days now and have not had 1 problem yet. The only thing that I haven't seen yet is that this phone stays connected to H+ all the time. When I was using AEX and ViperOS, it would change to 4G when I was in the city, but I have not seen that yet with AquariOS. It stays connected to H+ all the time. Other than that, and that is more related to the phone and baseband, this rom works very well. Thank you for putting together such a great rom.

Bro. You seriously need to know these facts :
1) None of these devs (except me in venom kernel) "makes" the features themselves. Features in roms are added by those who made the ROM. AKS12 didn't make the ROM. He only made the build. ROM is made by thousands of people queening in a team pushing features to their GitHub.
2) Only things which affect the usage of something in a bad way, or those which break other things, are called bugs.
If screen is waking up from back button, that is not a bug. Rather you should refer it as an "option".
You can disable it by using kernel adiutor like Bladehunter mentioned above, but I believe it's related to an option in "hardware keys" customisation options related to back button.
