[UNOFFICIAL][PORT][MOCHA][Beta][5.1.1]RemixOS 2.0.305_recovery_flashable.zip - Xiaomi Mi Pad ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other D

Hi friend!
The Ultimate ROM any Android device should have is here for mipad1.
As all know Remix OS is one of the best rom available for Android device
but it's limited to few devices.
Remix OS give you full pc experience on your Android devices.
i was using Remix OS 1.0 which was awesome.
so i have decided to get Remix OS 2.0 on mipad 1.
Luckily i found a zip file of remixos on xda shared by @majinvegeta3886
here !
https://forum.xda-developers.com/remix/remix-ultratablet/remix-2-0-305-flashable-zip-t3426112
which is base on Android 5.1.1 .
so i need a rom that is running on mipad1 with Android Version 5.1.1
which is already builded by most respected developer for mipad1 @highwaystar_ru .
so i used these 2 roms and a day of my life and made Remix OS 2.0 bootable
on mipad1.
ROM is very smooth even with bugs

How to flash
###########
* You must have Stock blobs.
if you are using smoke rom base on shield blob so first return to stock blob base rom.
* You must have repartition if not then get my zip And flash threw twrp 3x
* You must have multirom twrp recovery .
* Be ready with these things..
return to stock blob (if not already ) , flash twrp , wipe everything ( /delvik- cache /cache /system /data )
wiping internal is not nessesrery just delete folder name "Android" from internal memory.
* After this reboot into twrp and flash rom in intarnal ( × Not in multirom)
* When completed flash superuser zip
* Remember Do not flash gapps (core gapps already builtin) otherwise you may get errors.
* you can install Gapps simply like an apk or from playstore.
* Now reboot and wait for welcome screen. (Sometimes this can take ~15 min.)
* Follow Setup screen and enjoy ..

If i am not wrong then you have formated data and without reboot you flashed rom.
So advice to reboot into recovery then flash rom.
Also make sure you have already merged both system partitions into single .
I mean repartition to 1.2GB.

Rebooting again into recovery before flashing the rom worked. It transformed mipad into a laptop like device. Negligible lag.
Can you please make me clear if it works with multi rom? Because i want keep los14 along with it...

Headphone jack not working is the major bug for me as i use my mipad mostly for the media. Hence the first build is not usable for me as of now. So
Waiting for the new build.

I saw this posted on the OPPO forums by the same "Wuxianlin", it raises my suspicious eyebrow as it linked to a chinese site with nothing but chinese that google struggled to translate.
I don't dare download it

Yup, it has no support for LVM just like CM12 and 12.1
Screenshots will be coming up soon.
I am downloading the ROM with "JDownloader 2 BETA". It does not require a baidu account. My internet speed is pretty slow (Max 60kB/s), so it will take a while before I can upload any screenshots
EDIT: Hey guys the mirrors are up! & LVM is supported
wow Wuxianlin is great, isn't the same dev who made cm12 early builds? i will install after they fix the storage bug, i use my find7 as daily driver... so is a bit too early for me maybe
i hope that the new way to format sd cards as internal storage introduced in M could finally stop forcing me to deal with lvm/coldbird things
thanks for the interesting post and thanks to who made mirrors of course

Too bad lvm is officially a way to have all internal storage in one place. We can only hope cm will merge it in their rom.

I hoped it to, but afaik cm team never talked about any unificatiom method and in their official support they generally avoid this kind of workaround so if i can use a class 10 micro SD with decent results in installing and using apps will be fine to me..
EDIT: i find out a way to open that site with firefox and downloaded the description.txt in the folder, translated from chinese to english with google translator and got this:

You need to flash ColorOS because of the Modem issue. The original CM source code used the ColorOS 4.3 Modem as reference and built their ROM. And they still continue to use that source so just for installing the 4.3 modem, you have to install COS 1. ( Note: If incompatible modem is used, your carrier service would not work and you will not receive any signal )
There is a newer version out today, but i can't download it from "baidu"! Maybe someone can add it to driver folder?

@Rick Roll, thanks for sharing such an early version of CM13 Tried it for less than hour, it looked quite solid and quick. Any bugs will be ironed out later, probably.
I only found out that changing dpi is quite hard, because we can't mount system as rw. However, it's possible in recovery. Layers won't work because of the same reason.

sorry to bore you... but can you explain a bit more... I use to change system fonts plus other small things such as dpi, modded hosts file, etc... but as you know /system partition isn't re-mountable as RW
You suggest to do it from recovery, I tried but adb shell won't start from recovery... can you give me some hints? thank you :good:
driver issue perhaps? even if adb shell works regular (booted phone)
EDIT: never mind found solution... I had to install adb universal drivers (downloaded from here: http://adbdriver.com/downloads/)
thank you anyway

I've your same recovery, no problem here
just be sure to remove after flash and before reboot (within the recovery I mean) the apk under /system/app/qualcomm folder (use file manager included in recovery under "advanced")
for gapps you should use opengapps (opengapps.org), choose 6.0 and I suggest to start with a smaller package (I tried micro & nano and both worked)
good luck!
Any chance for d800?

I haven't removed this apk and it still booted fine bro!
Good rom
But not very stable
For now it all seems to be ok, the ROM is stable, no random reboots, no lags, everything works (Facebook from Play Store works), the only two bugs I found are the editing of the navigation ring targets, and the low quality of microphone recordings in WhatsApp (I don't know if it's only in WhatsApp or in calls too).
I'm using the build of 16/11.
EDIT: Camera is not working, neither AOSP Camera nor Google Camera, I'll try Lenovo Camera or the new build of 17/11.
I try to flash cm13 zip files for 4 times with old twrp, 1 times with latest twrp. But there is no changes. Everytime I have try to flash cm13, It giving error "Failed" with "Invalid checksum for partition /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/aboot" "E: error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/cm-13.*-20151117-UNOFFICIAL-d802.zip'" "Error flashing zip 'sdcard/cm-13.0-20151117-UNOFFICIAL-d802.zip" "Updating partition details..." "...done" And failed.
How can I fix it?

[beta] [SFOS] SailfishOS 2.1.3.7 for cancro

Installation Instructions:
NOTE: This release is also available as an OTA to existing users.
1) Make sure your device has the new partition layout needed for Android M and a custom recovery. Boot to Recovery, wipe cache, dalvik-cache, system and data. ( https://jrizzoli.github.io/dotfiles/ )
2) First install cm-12.1-20151117-SNAPSHOT-YOG7DAO1K6-cancro.zip As your base ROM, and make sure it works well.
3) Then Install sailfishos-cancro-release-2.1.3.7-beta.zip on top of it. This will replace your boot image with sailfish boot image, and installs sailfish os to /data/.stowaways/sailfishos . The installation can take a little while, so be patient.
If you are already running, CM12.1 YOG7D/already have SailfishOS installed, you can simply flash the Sailfish OS without wiping flash/partition.

Hey, Nope. SFDroid support is on my TODO list for now.
It may take a while though. I need a Multirom working with CM13.0(which is my primary ROM), so I can safely port all the needed changes for SFDroid to my CM12.1 base without losing all my data. Any help welcome here!
Cheers

Great!
Right now i don't think it's ready for daily use yet, as sometimes my device's sensors and audio stop working randomly. Not sure if it is just my device though (because of some weird hacks I've been using).
I suspect this maybe because the CM 12.1 zip i was using to boot differs from the sources I've used to compile this rom. Once that issue is fixed, i think this will be usable for daily use. Camera works, Browser works, basic apps work.. And compiling that cm 12.1 means even sfdroid will work ...

Could be. Most bugs i had to fix last week were because of differing versions too. That's why I'm trying to compile a cm12.1 right now.
Also right now as I'm on CM13.0, i was just using a system.img from the CM12.1.zip.. And making sailfish loop Mount that as the actual /system/ . not sure if that's causing any issues.
Right now my options are port multirom to CM13.0 (having some weird errors there) or wipe my device clean and downgrade to CM12.1 (have been trying to avoid this for months now!).

Due to legal reasons, Sailfish OS doesn't bundle the proprietary blobs(device drivers, system libraries etc..) provided by the phone vendors in it's zip.
As I have compiled Sailfish OS using sources from CM-12.1, it tries to access these proprietary files on your device via. CM-12.1 libraries. That's why you have to flash a CM-12.1 zip first, before flashing Sailfish OS. (i.e just clean flashing sailfish.zip won't work)
As of now, you don't have to flash gapps, as there is no way to use them from Sailfish OS. Once we get sfdroid running, we can run Android apps from within Sailfish OS, then you can flash gapps if you want.
Sailfish OS already comes with an su binary (accessed via. devel-su command) and full root access. So, you won't need Super SU.

You can use https://openrepos.net/content/basil/warehouse-sailfishos app to install apps.. I will include this in the zip for the next build (Which will soon be available).
First enable installation of untrusted software in Settings, then download the latest rpm of that from your browser and install it.
