Sick!
Thank you very much!
Great news! Thanks
I just migrated from Omni to this first build of official LOS. Thanks a bunch for the effort.
I'm having trouble getting Gcam (Arnova8G2 v1) to work. Flashed Camera2 api Magisk module and portrait mode works but the main camera is just black/blank. Is that a known problem on LOS?
Manually did enable api via build prop editor and reboot
Sendt fra min Mi MIX 2 med Tapatalk
Great news, many thanks! I will try it as soon as my new phone arrives
Nice! Thank you very much.
Thank you!
PS. for stupid ppl like me: if you get the "Google services framework has stopped" after installation do the following:
1) Format data
2) Go to Advanced wipe, select everything and wipe it.
3) install ROM (only rom)
4) reboot into recovery
5) Go to Advanced wipe, select everything and wipe it.
6) Install ROM + Gapps and other stuff if needed.
After this is should work.
This is the problem of other roms not supporting proper Encryption and this one does.

I needed to do the same when moved to the latest version of Omni 29.04. That is because they use different encryption now (the proper one).
Hoe is the ROM? battery life? Any specific bugs?

8.3.29 is a Miui dev release which is Miui 9.
They use the blobs/configs from that build so they recommend it.

What is Project Treble:
Project Treble basically partitions your device into two separate partitions, a system and a vendor: system contains your generic system image, while vendor partition has your device specific files required for booting and running your phone. This way we can easily change the system image and be able to run our device on different system images with the same kernel and vendor partition
S3VE3G hardware vs Treble implementation:
S3VE3G is an ARM and A-ONLY device. This means that regarding the GSI images (GSI = Generic System Image) to be used, you need to get ARM and A-ONLY system images.
Treble implementation and download:
Im working since last year and my first oreo build to let this project happen as we (guess what) dont received a official update with treble support.
So this is a work in progress...
This has been tested on a LineageOS and RR OREO GSI!!!!
It is possible to boot a Android 9 GSI with this vendor, but most stuff doesnt work.
THIS IS ONLY FOR THE SINGLE SIM VARIANT AS THE DUAL-SIM HAS A DIFFERENT PARTITION LAYOUT AND THUS WONT WORK!!!!!!!!!
Bug reports:
If u want to report bugs i need
- which GSI
- how to reproduce the bug
- a logcat
Current bugs:
- Camera (dont u ever expect this to work on treble our device is simply to old)
- Headset sound is bugged sometimes, turn the screen off and on and it starts playing
BE AWARE OF:
The infamous 3G bug. For some it works for others not and unless ur willing to rewrite your NV modem settings theres no solution for this.

3g enabled but no mobile data no internet connection
calls working
bluetooth working
alarm working
gps working
camera of course not working
How to fix the error in twrp: Failed to mount '/vendor' (device or resource busy)
First post updated headset and 3g is fixed!
3G is currently samsung ril implementation so if it still doesnt work ill also do a qcril build.
U can flash the updates WITHOUT wiping data if u are already on a gsi.
Battery life should be a bit better but not perfect (need to deal with the camera daemon which things its still working )

Oh man you are just a legend. Sadly i don't have a battery for my S3 Neo available to test your project sadly.
I did experimented with sGSI on my Redmi Note 4 some months ago and i would like to see the Redmi S2 or the Galaxy J4(Go) firmwares booting on our device with this method(Both are 32-bit).
This time its more battery focused.
Changelog:
Device Tree:
- disabled camera service
- fixed sec_touchscreen and sec_touchkeys still being active after screen is turned off (button vibration)
- added the power HAL for msm8226
- removed android GO flag
- added low power mode for modem
Kernel:
- deleted powersuspend and all hotplugs from kernel
- new default CPU govenor is BIOSHOCK
Vendor:
- caf audio blobs
- caf adsprpcd blobs
- caf thermal-engine blobs
- caf time-daemon blobs
- caf adsp audcal files
I reuploaded the images as some users were reporting (again) 3g issues. This time they should work i tested with two guys in my telegram group.

Note: Updated my main phone from AOSiP Pie to Ten and had some wierd issues. Factory resetted in TWRP and now everything working. So making a backup and factory reset before updating is recommended

As for the missing clock, I did not notice it during testing, but you are obviously right. For a stock feeling you can download the Clock app by Google, but there are many other good alternatives.
AOSiP updater is not working because I did not update the OTA file. AOSiP ten is still beta from ROM source side, so I won't enable OTA until it's official from their side.

Probably, just try and report. If something goes wrong, go to TWRP and flash ROM again without wiping data. You won't loose any settings or data.

I had a similar issue trying to install apps with Amaze file manager. I had no problem installing apps with the built-in file manager and also with F file manager from f-droid, in my case it was obviously an incompatibility of Amaze with 10. I'm on 10.0.9 base btw. Also I was able to delete system apps with Amaze and magisk 19.3 but not with 20.1. And I can't uninstall Whatsapp no matter what, the installer just quits so I must do it with adb uninstall.

That's normal behavior for magisk 20.1 because the system mount point had been changed from /system to / so most root using apps don't know how to use it. Besides that you can use the system debloater magisk module and that should work just fine.

Wow that's really impressive for a 3000 mAh device! Many people aren't getting that on the Note 10 Plus!

No, it's simply Havoc GSI with several fixes included especially for our device/platform and no, gapps are not included (you would have known if you read the first post more carefully )

the suggested twrp in first post works perfectly on most hi6250 ( emui 8 ) , plus it has an option ( exclude OEM path from data wipe ) from there you don't need to format data & internal storage to boot any gsi/dssi AFAIK.
Only sometimes installing gapps requires resize system from advanced wipe menu.
thanks.. any build for havoc 2.9 ?
How can I remove the bottom pad that appears when I want to use the keyboard?

the best 2.9 build here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/ha...90912-phhgsi_arm64_a-Official.img.xz/download
1- wipe system data cache
2-flash havoc 2.9 and boot up to system
3- reboot to twrp and :
4- flash offline charger fix for pie
5- flash nfc patch for pie
6- flash hwcomposer ( follow instructions )
7- flash gapps and magisk ( optional )
Enjoy.
All flashable patches you find them here:

I Couldn't post pictures since new members need to wait, add to that I got only one answer telling me that it may not be possible.
I was referring to this pad in the picture
Now Gsi's based on v207 and later are stable , here you find latest Havoc Q gsi :
https://sourceforge.net/projects/expressluke-gsis/files/HavocOS/Ten/ARM64/A/
Probably only NFC patch is needed :

Help this guy and me, please!
From my experience with flashing this device it is most likely that either your device is still encrypted or there are magisk leftovers or data partition wasn't wiped correctly, that's causing rom not to boot. And always use pretoriano's twrp_0.5_test, works best. Sometimes it boots to erecovery, but you can try to reboot and it might work then.

I think you're right, I also think it's due to encryption or data partition (not magisk because I made a clean installation), because I had the same problem, stuck on boot, with all the Roms (PIE and Q) that require TWRP.
The only rom without problems was OpenKirin-OmniROM Pie Alpha 6.2 which does not require a custom recovery for installation !!
Do you have any operational suggestions to give me or I just have to try with pretoriano's twrp_0.5_test ??
What do you think if :
- In a stock recovery I do a factory reset
- From fastboot I do fastboot erase system, userdata and cache (or better to use format command for userdata?)
- the I flash system.img
- then I flash TWRP
- and then install magisk and gapps from TWRP?

I tested the project you didn't test and I can test it once. Now I know that GPs and microSD are working
And I hope you will continue to optimize lineages OS based on sodp

Yup.
Is there a guide to isntall this? I got the bootloader unlocked using the key generet with the IMEI from the sony website, but when I tried "fastboot boot recovery.img", the phone just booted up normally.
I then tried flashing the recovery.img, this was reported as succesful, but the phone still booted normally whenever i did "adb reboot recovery".
Right now I got it back to stock, with bootlaoder locked and 41.3.A.2.149 NOBA installed.
try to boot to recovery manually
turn off your phone
hold power+volume down to turn on your phone
it take time to enter recovery mode so be patient

I tried that now. I can see the "Sony" logo on the screen for around 5 seconds, but then a very brief red flash and the phone reboots. This behavior repeats itself while holding power and volume down.
If I release any of the two buttons during the "Sony" logo, the phone boots the system normally.
you can try out recovery at the project treble pie thread , i think the fstab file is still same with this recovery , well i dont think it worth to try , it consume your time to reinstall the stock if it fail when installing the rom
good luck if you want to try that
