Does the Unlocked (Best Buy) Moto G6 Play support TMO Wifi Calling? - Moto G6 Play Questions & Answers

Title says it all.

My regular G6 does, so it may be safe to assume. Otherwise, I don't know.

Moto Z Play Droid VS Moto Z Play International

Hi everyone, hope will get my Moto Z play but I don't know which should I get.
I'm living outside USA. We have 3g only. to LTE in country. so there are propositions to get Moto Z Play Droid (Verizon I assume) unlocked for any carrier.
And MOTO Z Play international version.
How do you think, will I have some issues if I get Droid? Firmware compatibility, battery life, something else?
the price is the same.
Thenk you in advance
Why would you even get the Droid, outside of the US mind you, instead of the International version?

Yup i agree. Anyone should go for international ver.
For wider compatibility of frequencies
I'd imagine the Droid version would have more bloatware you'll not need as well.
Do not get the Droid version. You will not be able to unlock it or potentially even root it (you probably can currently with dirty cow). The only reason to get the droid version is if you need CDMA support, which almost all countries outside of the US (except china) use GSM.
There's no reason at all to get the Droid, you'll get a completely locked bootloader and bloatware, there's no benefit to it.
But if you use Verizon (me) then I have to get the droid version and stuck with a locked bootloader and no root until someone finds an exploit?

WiFi calling on T-Mobile?

I'm looking into getting a MZP but have heard stories of WiFi calling is not possible on T-Mobile due to not not being a carrier phone. Anyone have a MZP that can confirm?
The Moto Z Play has WiFi calling capability, just not with T-mobile. I can confirm that. Maybe it'll change with a future update? Not sure. I will say that I spoke to both Motorola (who blamed T-mobile) then T-mobile (who blamed Motorola, then tried to sell me one of their phones) and got no where.

(your service provider) + Z play

Hello. I have a question about quality of service and Z play. I live in the USA and want a modernish phone with an unlocked bootloader. Doesn't seem too much to ask right? I have to buy the phone... Should be able to do what I want with it.... Right?
Will a sprint Z play work?
in the US that topic is very complicated. There are variants at least for sprint and verizon. Then there is an unlocked GSM version which supports bands from all major carriers, but not all of them. Then there are features like VoLTE that will only work e.g. with a Verizon variant with a Verizon SIM. So which variant is for you depends on which carrier you want to use and what special functions the carrier variants have. So a sprint Z Play will work if Sprint has a good coverage at your place. There is a thread at motorolas forum you might want to read to, there are some differences explained by a moderator:

T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling

Has anyone had any success with this phone on T-Mobile for wi-fi calling/VoLTE? I'm rather pleased with this phone, but I don't understand why the Plus variant would have those features, but not our international version. Certainly T-Mobile isn't collaborating with Motorola since even the G5 Plus isn't sold in their stores, right?
Any chance a developer could port the stock/debloated G5 Plus rom back for the G5, or maybe that's too herculean of a task.

So my Verizon Moto z2 force on h2o wireless (at&t network) won't let me use call forwarding says call forwarding disabled outside Verizon wireless network.
