I opened update.app to recover recovery_ramdis.img, copy to SDcard. installed apk magisk manager V7.1.2-4040a024 (209).
I am going to Settings / Channel / Custom Write Address.
then install, patch recovery_ramdis.img.
it seems to have worked because magisk_patched.img appears in download.
I copy it on the PC, in the adb folder.
I flashed it: fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk magisk_patched.img
he tells me ok.
I remove the cable, I force the stop.
I press on power and volume up, the blue screen I release power.
but nothing always erecovery.
tried dozens of times before asking.
can you tell me what's wrong or I'm wrong. thank you

Just today May 5, @OldDroid has made a commit to magisk canary build that adds support to devices with same chip as 7x "Hi6250"
Use customer update url
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/OldDroid/magisk_files/master/canary_builds/canary.json
Should work when patched now.

I've had the exact same issue! Did you use Xiaomitool in the past to switch between china/global without unlocking BL? That caused this **** for me.
You need to fastboot flash MIUI 9 using miflash, after that this "region" issue wil be resolved. If you don't have the fastboot rom hit me up on Telegram or send me a PM and I can send it to you.

Killed my P20 trying. Anyway, Huawei phones are dead to me. Switched to a Redmi note 9 pro. Paid 400$CAD. 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM, 720G processor. Wouldn't go back to Huawei. With Xiaomi, so easy. They provide a tool, you request to deactivate the lock, wait for 3 days, unlocked. Done.

first download the fastboot rom for your phone from this link
Xiaomi Firmware Updater
The ultimate script that provides firmware packages for Xiaomi devices.
xiaomifirmwareupdater.com
and then extract the rom file .
download miflash from this link
Xiaomi Flash Tool - Official Mi Flash Tool
Download the latest and Official Xiaomi Flash Tool from the Official Xiaomi Flash Tool Website.
xiaomiflashtool.com
open miflash and click on select then choose the extracted stock fastboot rom folder. this folder will contains images. then connect the phone in fastboot mode. at the bottom right of mi flash app choose " clean all". be careful NOT to click on " clean all and lock" in mi flash tool, and then click refresh your phone should be displayed. check screenshot. then click flash. it will flash stock rom. at the end there will be a error dont worry about it. it is giving error because we are not locking bootloader. now you are in stock rom. let it boot into rom. after that just follow the instrutions mentioned in OP . this is the method i follow and it works fine for me.

Flashed this rom and been using it for an hour only. So far not good. Setup wizard took solid 5 mins to open up. After setting up the phone and installing the necessary apps I found out that the apps are not opening . Either they crash or take 3 to 5 min to open up. Am I missing something? What about others? Pls do share your experiences. Anyway I believe the dev is very capable and will release a better build later on. Has lot of customisations though.
it does not matter its initial build

Question Flash recovery on Galaxy A52S 5G without data loss

Hello, I have a galaxy A52s 5G and I'm trying to bypass pattern lock so I don't lose data by factory resetting. USB debugging is disabled and bootloader is not unlocked.
I can access download mode/stock recovery but that's about it. Doesn't seem like there's an official TWRP either. Is there a way to flash a custom recovery? Would flashing A52 4g's TWRP work? If not, what can I do
Arobase40 said:
Flashing A52 4g's TWRP onto a A52S 5G will lead to a soft brick phone !!! ^^
Someone else pretended he/she built a working TWRP for the A52S 5G but it doesn't work at all and even didn't test it him/herself before releasing it.
Another guy accepted to be a guinea pig but he bricked his phone by the way... ^^
We are all waiting after such a TWRP but there is none atm.
I'm myself trying to build one but I don't have enough time to build it because I don't have a good Windows PC and I don't feel comfortable with Android studio yet !
I have the source code but I have to put all things together so unless someone else build a working one you have to wait after it as we all do... ^^

I am not building from source code like you. I took TWRP from A52, as the two devices are very similar. Then followed the guide - www.droidwin.com
I don't have any technical knowledge about this. It booted somehow. No boot-loop. But there is no touch response. And I don't OTG nearby, so couldn't test with a mouse.
Yes, ofc. You would know better. I am not a developer. I was only trying with that guide.

Yes no problem it's quite the opposite I had problems activating Volte on the global version Miui 12/13 this only happened with the operator Orange impossible to deactivate 4G calls but no hassle here to enable or disable Wi-Fi/4G calls and messages works fine with Mi message or Google message
Ok thanks... Since I'm in 14 version eea, I think there's no TWRP compatible. How can I flash it without custom recovery please?

I have not found a way to flash the fastboot roms without a pc so you will have to use the computer it's quite easy unzip the firmware and click on Windows first install having connected the phone and checks before that it is well recognized by Adb fastboot

yes of course it's the same, this file does not format the Rom it's just to have Root with Magisk stable 25.2.
