Huge thanks to:
@SGCMarkus (For his help and device tree}
@zacharias.maladroit (For the awesome kernel develoments)
@JohnFawkes (for helping me with script learning and other)
@luffy1105 (For helping me solve errors)
Awesome LG v30 Telegram Group
If i forgot anyone else i'm sorry, PM me to add you to the list :highfive:

If anyone is having issues with new kernel (freezes, random reboots, no data/wifi)
Plz flash this kernel:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/135b3Xt9IssT83CFtEzMzkg6USperRkp9/view?usp=drivesdk
It is Orion_WIP3_2 kernel in a AK2 (Anykernel2) zip. (Thanks @JohnFawkes)
You can just flash this zip as a regular zip..
So no more ".img" files that need to be flashed in boot partition.
This also means that you don't need to reflash Magisk after flashing a kernel!
As always "Encounter bugs? = Logcat" cant fix stuff based on a description of what happened. :good:

*Reserved*

It's working great! Thanks for the ROM

For anyone flashing this rom. there might be an small bug with the rom where gcam does not work (wide cam or not open at all)
and another bug s that none of the browsers work.
So far only 1 person reported these issues through telegram. i just want to know now if this is user specific, or that it is rom issue.
so if you do encounter no working browser.
or gcam (widecam not working or not open at all)
plz report and provide a log if possible (preffer logcat from browser issue)
i think i know what to do to fix gcam (if its rom issue) so this logcat is not so important.
You can report issues here on XDA or PM me on Telegram > @ Bada_187
Thank you.

Nope but Superior ROM works great though

im still trying to figure out why some people have issues with certain apps.
(myself have not encountered any app issues or so, everything worked for me, magisk 19.2, gapps nano, kernel provided by rom, and privacy guard enabled, H930)
if you guys do have issues plz let me know the following:
gapps version
magisk version
what kernel
did you enable or disable privacy guard when setting up rom.
what device model you have.
plz try to be as specific as possible as i want to keep AOKP in the game, since its a nice classic rom and overall smooth.
and logs are always welcome of course.
Thank you.

Open gapps pico 4/19
Magisk 19.2
No new add-on kernel
Disabled privacy guard
Anxious v233, busybox magisk modules
All apps work except EBay (reinstall or clear cache did not help--kept saying wrong username and password, over and over despite correct info). Web based EBay works fine on Chrome Canary so I still like AOKP :good:

Anyone got any notes on battery life and volume so far?

Just a quick heads up, here's what I've noticed with this rom.
The fingerprint scanner works flawlessly. Better than stick even, I haven't had a single misshap.
The battery life is amazing, and the phone is snappy.
The sound is also spot on, speakerphone is loud, DAC works well.
AOD never fails either.
Aokp has always been one of my all time favorites for stability and I'm not left unimpressed right now!! Thank you all for the hard work. ??
Edit: also wireless charging works well

How's the wall charging speed? I can't find it now but I've read somewhere for a certain rom that the charging speed is much faster than original, so I'd love to hear more about it.

This looks really promising and really neat, if I can make one suggestion, it would be to not include MAGISK in future builds until the issues are worked out with losing ROOT. Just my 2 cents, I love the idea of MAGISK but in my opinion its not perfect just yet (losing ROOT, ROOT not working, ETC). I would say to leave out so we havethe option to use SuperSU or MAGISK without having to remove one or the other from the system ROM.
Just a thought, and if you dont like it, no biggy, let me know but either way, REALLY cool to see a pure AOSP not based off Lineage!!.

Done.. Even I don't like the theory of Magisk ..or. Shall i make 2 builds, if I have time i can do that one With magisk and one with Su . What to you think of that
+1, no magisk.
I am a fan of just the included root, personally.
although, it's quite easy to flash the magisk unroot.zip
OP, snap cam updated.
OP, you cook reliable ROMs and appreciate bringing this one home to us. Never even heard of these guys, excited to give it a shot, running Dirty Unicorns atm so will be interesting comparing the two.
I know it would be a pita but I would love to see a build compatible with sprints nougat baseband. I want to try AOSP but I am dreading having to ruu the us unlocked baseband and wipe my phone Everytime I want to flash something different. This looks awesome though!
You can add me to the no magick list. I prefer superSU. Looking forward to playing with this ROM this weekend.

You don't have to ruu anything to run AOSP on Sprint. Check this thread out. You must be s-off to do this. It works, as I'm running Resurrection remix right now.

Fredgar, you only needed to do that once to unlock the hidden whatever is needed with us Sprint devices. Once you do that and flash back to Sprint ruu, you never have to ruu again (unless you want to, I do it every few weeks to reset my phone after to many os changes). This is strictly up to you, once your Sprint device is ruu to us Dev and back to Sprint, that's it, never again.

Hey.
First of all thanks for Another ROM to this devices.
One question to anyone who maybe stumped on this?
All thread refer to the Bluetooth calls distorted bug, but there is one that at least on LineageOS is present: - Magisk will not work with a encrypted LG-G4 at least in LineageOS, and AICP roms with Titan Kernel from @kessaras . I suspect that will not work with any of the roms, can anyone she'd some light on this one?
So anyone who wants to go encrypted can only stay on Laos or AICP that supports Laos SU-Addon if you need root Access.
So, if it confirms can you add Magisk when encrypted to the known bugs where it applies?
Thanks and keep then coming ?

Even if we add it to known bugs , we do not develop magisk.
Someone already tried to report it to magisk thread and he grabbed logs and we checked them , but logs don't say anything. In dmesg and logcat we can clearly see everything going fine and when magisk start suddenly everything starts to die.
The magisk developer didn't even try answer to that guy.
So without a way to find the problem , we can't fix that problem.
If the magisk developer can guide you guys on how to get a log that's showing the issue and if the issue is somewhere in device tree or blobs or kernel, I will be glad to fix it.

I guess the developer is doing army service.
I was not complaining, Everytime a new Magisk major version cakes out I test it. So, let's wait, and LineageOS is working fine and been updated with Android monthly updates. Thanks for that.
Now if we could only buy a 3.5" Jack to a Bluetooth phone adapter, that would do the trick

please upload the new build as soon as you can, i don't know why i have problems with the 27/12 build
sometimes after it boot, booting animation > bip sound > text android > after the clock on unlock screen appears > screen bright at maximum, then black screen with a blu led and it freeze T_T
i re-downloaded rom and pico gapps 20/01/2019 .. i wipe everythings, i flashed in order rom, gapps and magisk and now it works, but even after some hours and reboot, it still slow to open everything, it not lag in menu etc.. wifi network is slow slow slow (i have a 200mbit) but 4g is fast, i can't understand which is the problem
I will re-try everything removing sd card and installing everything with usb-otg
I really like the rom style is very amazing, i hope with the next build, thank you again for your hard work
update:
i changed gapps pico with the 22/01/2019 release and now it seems it goes better (it's a little bit slow install apps: download and installation process)
it's not the first time it happened to me and with other rom that some gapp release broke something .. it seems strange or i'm just unlucky ^^ i really don't know and i'll not bore you about that, i'll continue to test and try about it
update 2:
it installed everything, a few reboot .. but it have micro freeze i notice because the seconds clock skip a lots of seconds and sometimes it shows the same seconds time :'(
update 3:
i don't know why, it's all very laggy and slow in every operations :'(

Sometime I have that lags when wanna flash any Oreo ROM.. So..
• Download MM bootloader with N modem file
• Clean wipe (System, Data, Dalvik, Cache)
• Flash MM bootloader with N modem file
• Flash DotOS 2.5 and Gapps (nano or pico recommended)
• Reboot (Don't flash Magisk!!)
• It should be lag-free now, setup your Google account
• Reboot into Twrp and flash Magisk
Try with this way..

:good:

they keyboard will appear after an extra reboot or wait a minute.
no idea if its because the rom is CAF or not. (only seen this issue by you and 1 other person)
but this "not appearing" keyboard thing is a 1x issue only, it should work fine every time after that.
and a little info on what device/model would be nice

Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

ROM OS Version: Android 10
ROM Kernel: Linux 4.4.x
ROM Firmware Required: OxygenOS 10.0.0
Based On: AOSP
Nice, does this work with hotfix firmware?
So glad to see this update
Great timing with this update. Spent all day yesterday trying to get my phone working correctly on Android 10 software. Had issues with auto rotation on some Bluetooth on others. Everything is perfect with this one. Thank you so much for making my 5T run better than new again.
Woah! Great! Instructions, btw? And what are the fastboot and boot images on the download page?
Edit: Just flashed the ROM with OOS10-H firmware. Used for sometime. Screen recorder doesn't record internal audio and no long screenshot present. Call recording fails for some reason (maybe permission issue, ig). Overall, EZ.
Added to the OnePlus 5 Index Thread here.
Also, @OmkarTheAndroid, the OnePlus 5 & 5T Cross Device Development is a better forum for this thread (this is only the OnePlus 5 forum). If you are okay, let me know and I'll get it moved to the proper forum. :good:

Fixes for internal call recording haven't been merged yet, you can track em on https://review.aosip.dev/q/topic:+audio , as for longshot I doubt that'd be added, I'll check for call recording.
Thanks for reporting

Google Camera force closes
Is anyone else experiencing force close with Google camera. not a huge deal just switched to the Lineageos camera that was installed with the ROM Just curious if it was just on my side?
Thank you so much for keeping OP5/t alive!
Does it make a difference if we flash the Gapps version or the official one with a gapps package?
Also, it says Firmware 10.0.0 is required, so will we have to flash the first stable firmware or will it work with Hotfix 1?

The missing dotfix might be the cause of the force close. On PA you don't get a viewfinder if there is no dotfix.
I use Nikita v1.7 and dotfix 5.6 and everything is working fine

Yes, it's a feature of the ROM itself, anyway thanks for the feedback. I'll make improvements over time ^^
Tested on G970F. Stable and Good battery life. Good work on the ROM. Could add Live display option or Blue light filter but nevertheless fantastic ROM.
I find that incall audio, during phonecalls is very quiet. It is nice to have full control of my magisk app..

I'm looking at a new ROM to test out, after finding out my current one gave me problems with Android Auto. A few questions:
- I'm currently on firmware FUF3. In the screenshot, I see you're on FUE6. Does that make any difference?
- Has anybody tested USB? In my current ROM, it seems to be a known problem that USB switches on and off all the time, which stopped me from testing Android Auto wired. Wireless also didn't work, but testing with a cable is the first step to debug and if that also doesn't work...
Thanks for the great work!

The firmware version will not interfere with the ROM operation, have you tested it recently and this USB connection problem appeared? I will release an OTA Update this week, Tim (Linux4) has reworked the tree, and maybe that will solve some of the existing problems. I will keep you informed
