One Plus Warp Car Charger Worth $50 Bucks - OnePlus 7 Pro Accessories

Anyone have it, used it, and think it's worth the price of admission? Is there a close alternative? I love the wall charger and it is fast, but $50.00 for a car charger seems a little high.

U can get the original one and gives u dash charge speed, that I swhat I am using and good enough for me, all thier accessories are over priced like Apple

If you want WARP charging in your car....what other option do you have....so in that sense, yes it is worth it.

Oppo super vooc / vooc is cheaper and works same as warp.

Source in the US ? I only found $40 plus shipping overseas or close to $50 on eBay/Amazon ... and no cable.

I have a qualcomm 3.0 w port black web car charger. I wont need the wrap charge in car because only time i use to charge phone in car is to uber, and that could be 4 hours plus enough time for regular charge speed

Worth is relative. For me, in no world is a car charger ever "worth" $50. I'd rather just charge at 2 amps or whatever for that price.

get the previous dash car charger, i use that for my OP7 PRO and it charges it insanely fast

Any dash or warp chargers with 2 or more USB ports on them?

I purchased it and in my opinion it is worth every penny. Reason being is i usually forget to put my phone on charge before I go to bed and have a fifty minute commute to work. So by the time I get to work I'm fully charged considering I already have some juice in my OnePlus 7 pro. Oh and btw it's a lot faster than the last series of dash charge.

I bought the dash car charger from OnePlus when I got the OnePlus 5 and when I sold the 5 to buy the 6 I kept the car charger. So when I was buying the 7Pro 8/256 I saw the price and thought NOPE I'll keep the dash charger again and put the $50 towards the phone and got the 7Pro 12/256
No way is that worth $50 when I can get the upgraded phone for the same price. It charges fast when when using Maps, no need to warp charging in the car for that price.

At 45-50% battery I'll be 100% in about 35-40 minutes on my dash car charger I've had for the past 2 years.

The 2 port ones that claim to be DASH charge compatible on Amazon have gotten reviews that say the claim is BS

I always "hand down" my old OnePlus to either my kids or friends and with it goes the car charger... I'm sure the WARP charger will come down in price like the DASH did l, eventually... Folks were *****ing about it's price of $30 in 2016. I used a 5% student discount when I bought the 256/12 gig version, so upgrading the charger was a no brainier.

I bought one for my 6T almost never use it. Normally I slow change because I don't need the fast charging. I can charge while at work and overnight. I do have some PD chargers and that will speed things up.

Better be worth it for €50 I've one one the way. My last 4 phone's were from One Plus and I've had the dash charge for years it still works but now it's got to be faster I guess if I get a few years out of it €50 isn't bad for that kind of technology. You would easily spend on a night out and would think nothing of it.

i have it and will be testing it soon on a longish car trip

Warp charge is worth it for me. I usually just charge my phone from home to work and back. I like that it automatically opens whatever APK you want and puts the phone in do not disturb mode

FYI, these cables work just fine WARP Charging my OP7 PRO

I got it on launch day at TMobile for 25% off. To me it's worth even the 50$. I rarely need warp charge in house as I have more time to charge and it works fine and fairly quick with my pixel 3xl usb-pd charger. Now my commute and average drive times are 10-20 minutes. It's far more effective there as I can get a quick 20-30% battery boost.

Doesn't the Evo use a slightly higher voltage battery? I'm at 91% charge and at 4.139V.
EDIT: I was wrong, just did a battery pull and it says 3.7V just like the battery above.
I've got the same two spare batteries and charger (same vendor); I've had them for about two weeks now. I rotate the three batteries as the charge runs out: battery A dies, take battery B from wallet, put battery A on charger, put battery B in phone, put battery C in wallet. Rinse, repeat. The OEM EVO battery gets me about 48 hours per charge, with an average use of 3-5 hours. The two spare batteries get me about 24 hours, with an average of 2-3 hours. Sort of gives you an idea of how well they stand up next to the OEM. Either way, they work great for me and fit comfortably in my wallet. I was under the impression that lithium-ion batteries shouldn't go unused, which is why I keep them on a rotation and let them run dry each time. Likewise I thought they slowly lose their charge potential the longer they are used, so spacing them apart would help extend that, no? Note that I don't know much about lithium-ion batteries, just heresay.
I got this package off ebay a week before the evo for $11..... They work jus as fine as the regular battery for me
I also have been using these batteries in a rotation, which have been working just fine. Happy that I bought then.

Hay for 10 bucks I'll give it a try. I can definitely use the charger. I was using my TP2 as a charger now I can sell it if I want. Thanks for posting.
History: 3,484 sold
damn!!!!
I bought 3 (1 for home, 1 for work, and 1 for RV) and they work great. I wanted the extra batteries for dry camping so $30.00 got me 3 chargers and 6 batteries. Plus my wife still has the TP2 so she can also use these batteries.
The china batteries are working just as well as the stock battery for me. The light on the chargers is a bit bright for my taste, but I keep it charging out of sight.
-
I have to say the same, im more then pleased with the results so far. They last just as long as the OEM for me and they take awhile to drop from 100% once you charge them in the one supplied within this package.
just ordered mine will post my review once i get some use out of them
ordered 2
Thanks for posting
Thanks for sharing OP! Just what I needed, a wall charger. I've got 3 batteries already (stock, Hero battery, and an extra batter I picked up for the Hero.) I've been using the Hero as a charger, but I want to sell it so I needed a new one. Thanks!
Got mine in the mail yesterday, so far only played with 1 battery, charged it over night and have had it in all day. With moderate usage nothing more / less than my normal it seems to be performing on par with the stock battery! Phone has been on for 12 hours, moderate phone / texting, played some games on my lunch and did some crossword puzzles on a break, and I'm at 69% battery.
Worth the $10 by far!
Got my set yesterday. 5 hours off the charger and at 84% battery. Seems every bit as good as the stock. Also the battery charger has a usb port on it so with a cable you can charger the phone and spare battery. Awesom. Best ten bucks you can spend.
Got mine a few days ago and I've put the extra batteries through their paces, seem to be solid.

I would be careful I have not rated the output of the USB but the charger it self is 1500mA. I wonder if it's stepping down the current before passing it through the USB (usb is rated for 500mA, however; most usb devices can charge off more; stock charger is 1000mA) Also not sure what the max current the evo can take over usb.
For purposes of boosting confidence, I've had mine since November (got them for my cdma hero) and they are still performing just as good as my stock evo battery. I have read that batteries get a better charge if they are charged with no power (ie: plugging your phone into a wall charger while keeping it turned on) so I liked the idea of the battery charger. I keep one in my wallet, rotate around 6pm, then rotate again in the morning. So far seems to work out great for the amount of use my phone gets, which is a lot!

the ones that are on Ebay are not good.. i ordered that same wall charger(style ) when i had my G1 and they break easily.. and the batteries are cheap quality..
this is the best deal i found on a extended battery, and it last more than a day, some people are saying it last for up to 5 days - http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-Innocell-Battery-Droid-Incredible/dp/B003602HIO/ref=pd_cp_cps_3

You just posted a link to a battery that cost $41 and rates nearly as bad as batteries that are $11 for two AND a charger... (link to testing here). If you insist on overpaying for your phone battery just buy the OEM one, it beat out the Seidio version in testing and is cheaper.
I've had the ebay charger and two tp2 batteries for 8 months (Hero), I'm now using the same batteries in my Evo and they last just a little less time than my OEM. For the price, the Ebay batteries are an unbeatable deal.
I went so far as to order another charger and two batteries from Ebay and I keep this charger at work. I rotate batteries at work and home, always have a backup and have amassed two chargers and four backup batteries for a total of $20. Ebay deal FTW.
Will but a couple my self thanks for the great tip

I see that the N72 charger is only 1.35a. I thought that the N71 charger was 2a, but I could be mistaken and am too lazy to run upstairs and check.
Either way, I'm sure I have some 2a USB charger lying around the house somewhere, or could get one for a few bucks on Amazon. I'm not sure if that's just a suggestion or is actually required. I think it comes down to how much energy your device can draw. I imagine that, unlike a directly plugged in device, using wireless chargers will result in a slower charge cycle as a larger amount of the energy is lost, so it probably needs to be greater than what it normally uses. I know that, in general, you can use a higher mA output than what is required, as the device will only draw what it can/needs, but not sure about how wireless works in this regard.

I've followed a few reviews on this one since I have the S4 and was considering picking up the whole kit. The ones that mentioned trying another charger stated it didn't work. Wireless charging does work a bit differently since you lose some energy transferring the power to the induction coil.
I don't have time to source the reviews right now, but that might point you in the right direction.

This QI charger seems to be made to fit a Galaxy Phone. The edges seem to be tapered and possibily not allow the N7 to fix flush thus no charging. 50% off sounds like a good idea but it is a waste of money if it doesn't work.

Tylt Wireless Charger for LG G3

After messing with some cheap wireless chargers on Ebay and getting the slow charging I said screw that and bought two Tylt wireless chargers for $35 each at a T-Mobile store. Not all stores have them and it took the manager some time to even find the SKU to check inventory at stores. The SKU is SUPM39575. Happy with the Tylt since it's made well and you just place it on and it charges fast enough. Some chargers are picky with the G3 but the Tylt doesn't require any sweet spot to charge. Amazon and Micro center carry the Tylt but it probably cost more.
Tylt probably works with most cases. It does with my Nillkin. I haven't tried with my Insignia case yet.
You need a sticker for wireless charging. I got mine from this thread (thanks iazybandit). Not sure if he has anymore.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/accessories/feeler-buy-qi-nfc-sticker-t2827738
Also you can get them from this place in China. Not sure if Ebay has any yet.
Tylt has a light at the bottom and turns green when charging. If it turns red pull it off and put back on.

Picked up one today. Called 3 different T-Mobile stores. The one I happened upon that I didn't call had them. Only bought one since I already have a Nokia one.
I used the Tylt Vue with my Nexus 5 and absolutely loved it. It's just been sitting on my nightstand the past month until I could figure out how to get wireless charging to work with my G3.
I finally ordered THIS BACKPLATE that finally arrived and after installing it wireless charging is working great!

I just bought from a place near Chicago and they actually have discount stickers on them, with $34.99 on the front (the original price sticker on the back).
What sort of speed are you getting with charging? It seems to me that it charges a fair bit slower than I was getting with my USB charger.
That said, I have never used the LG charger. I've been using the 2A charger from my Note 2 and the 1.8 blackberry charger that was spoken of highly by a member here.

At the time all sellers for the stickers did not have any in stock would have loved to save some money but I'm content and know this is LG made. Get yourself a quality qi charger too. I was lucky and walked into a T-Mobile store in Edison NJ while I was working and they had 2 Tylt Vue chargers on sale for $35. Works flawlessly. At another T-Mobile store in Astoria NY they had on display the new Samsung qi charger for their S6 and it was only able to slow charge my G3. Same thing at a bestbuy too only slow charging on the S6 qi charger.
I ended up getting a complete back cover. Also bought a red Tylt off Amazon's Warehouse Deals. Pretty excited! Just got my phone in today, rooted, put in krowley3's "cleanrom". Loving the phone so far.

Compatible Qi Chargers

I have read miles may vary when it comes to these chargers and moto360. Like to start a thread for anyone that is able to charge their 360 successfully without any issues. Some of the issues include getting too hot and auto shutting down due to temp. I will update this list as much as I can.
Hopefully this is helpful for everyone.
Compatible:
PowerBot® PB1020 Qi - $14.99 - According to some reports, runs a little warm.
DiGiYes® Qi Cylindric Wireless Charger Charging Pad Charging Statio... - $12.59 - Works with closed loop bands like the Pebble steel band.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Qi Compatible Wireless Charging Pad - $41.95
Anker® Ultra-Slim Qi-Enabled Wireless Charging Pad - $22.99
Not Compatible:
JBL Powerup Speaker with Qi - Seems to overheat a little and stop charging.
Palm Pre - although it triggers docking mode, it does not actually charge according to users.
Probably not common but I have a JBL Powerup Speaker with Qi built in (was co-branded with Nokia)....works like a charm.
I would also like to see a good list for this. There were a few articles out about how 3rd party Qi chargers could charge the moto 360, but at most had one or two models on there.
This works for me
http://www.amazon.com/PowerBot®-PB1020-Inductive-Compatible-Smartphones/dp/B00F6SPYJS/
To expand this a bit can anyone recommend a dual qi charger? I would love to charge my G3 and 360 on one pad
Updated list from other threads.

It seems to now only charge to 86% and is getting darn hot while doing it. Not sure what was happening when I first used it but I would take this off the list of at least add a disclaimer.
Got the pb1020. Charges well. Watch a bit warm though. Definitely a top off charger, not a leave on all night deal

Updated with the note.
Wonder if the warmness of the chargers are related to the amperage draw. The charger only gives 850mAh, so if a pocket battery gives more, maybe the watch takes more and heats up
Okay here is my feedback.
I bought the powerbot from amazon (14.99). Watch gets hot and shuts off.. I'm sure its not good for the watch.
I will try to get the OEM secondary charger for my office.
so what is the best?

I bought 2 PowerBots and have never had this problem. Charged it from 0-100% this morning. Watch was warm, but not hot and still on.

Perhaps it depends on the AC adaptor? 1amp?

I've got them plugged into my AudioEngine 5+ speakers which outputs 5V, 500mA power supply.

How well do the DigiYes chargers work with the 360 with a Pebble Steel watchband? Because I just opted to go the diy route with my PowerBot charger and made a crappy metal pedestal for it. Works like a charm.

Been using the Samsung Galaxy S4 Qi Compatible Wireless Charging Pad since day one with the watch. It works great. I never yet used the stock charger and dock.
I tested the charging rate and it was 5 volts at about 0.5 amp. I'm using a 2 amp power source but it appears not needed.
I got it from Samsung on sale for $25 USD months ago. Currently its on amazon for around $40. Not worth it because there are less expensive options.

Bud, did you even try to place your watch on the original charger? I have the pebble steel band and am using the Moto charger which came with the watch. works just fine.
But I do commend you on the idea of a pedestal. The only negative to it is you loose the fantastic bedside night stand watch which Moto made for you.

Wireless charger suggestions?

Seen a lot of different ones on amazon and ebay. Just wondering what wireless chargers are worth getting.
I use Samsung's wireless charging stand, since I had it already from my S7. It works great with the G6.
I wonder why LG did come out with some new stuff for the LG G6?
Samsung had a bit of new Qi chargers( Dex), headphones..etc?

Is the fast wireless charging working on it? I read somewhere fast wireless charging doesn't work on Samsung's chargers

LG has their own mew fast charging unit. But they did not include the tech in yhe LG G6 they'll leave it for the v30 im sure. Imo if im wirelessly charging I'm not trying to fast charge anyhow. I've used many and IMO almost all built the same. Some have 3 coils for easier placement and some are smaller to take up less room. I literally just ordered this. 20% coupon code too. Plus Amazon 30 day return policy is amazing. For testing stuff. Not at all my video or advertising just sharing my experience.
I went with the CHOETECH Qi Model T513 wireless charger. Works great. I don't like stand chargers because I have kids and I'm sure they'd manage to knock my phone off of it... repeatedly. () I chose this one because it was decently priced, only about $20, and works great. Also has nearly all great reviews.

It just shows as standard charging, but typically I only need to charge my G6 at the end of the day and let it charge overnight, so I don't mind. If I need a quick charge, I just use the type C charger.
I got the CHOETECH T811C. It's cheap and seems pretty solid. Works through my case with no problems. I don't have any issues trying to find a "sweet spot" for it to start charging either, like I had with a previous charger.
I bought two chargers. One for work and one for home (bedside).
I use this one at work (the charge light was too bright in the room at night):

This one at home:

So far, I'm very happy with both.

I've had this for a couple years now and just pulled it out the closet. I recently picked up a G6 and thought I'd give it a shot. To my surprise, it worked like a charm. I haven't noticed how fast it charges because I leave on overnight just because it's easier to deal with in the dark. I haven't noticed any heating issues as it doesn't seem hot when I remove it. All in all it has worked well for me.

I too use this charger. Works great for me.
EDIT: Used to work. Now it works for about 30 seconds and then flashes error. I think that it might be because of my case. Not sure thought as I'm not going to take my case off every time I charge.
I also have one of these https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Wire...sr=8-1&keywords=samsung+wireless+fast+charger It works fine even with my case. It didn't work well for my G4 and the tylt worked well with it not my G6 works well with my samsung and not with my tylt. Go figure.
I have two of the vertical stands chargers from Seneo. Phone sits on its all day at work, and all night when sleeping. NEVER gets hot. Definitely recommend and purchased off Amazon. I wish it didn't have such a bright charging indicator light on it or at least the option to shut it off, but nothing a little black marker can't fix.

I had a cheapie Adrema, surprise it works and charges at 1.5 amps, faster than my original Samsung wireless ones. My G6 also works with my Belkin one.
Greg
I use this wireless charging stand by Choetech: https://www.amazon.com/CHOETECH-Wireless-Charging-Qi-enabled-Included/dp/B010B6PSMC/

Any good with a soldering iron?
A resistor of ~330 ohms 1/8 watt in series with the LED will dim it to what should be a suitable level.
Maybe I tinker with stuff too much

I can solder, not great but doable. Although in this case it's not remotely worth it. If I were to open this up I'd just disconnect the light altogether.

Yeah I get ya.
But I'd just have to get inside, the over-bright LED would do my head in. I bet it's blue too...?
I definitely tinker too much.
Hi,
I have recently bought choetech wireless charger for my g6. The charger also comes with micro USB charging cable. What i love most is that this wireless charger comes with integrated smart chip inside it that resist the wireless charger pad from overheating.

The official Samsung wireless charger seems to work pretty good and comes with it's own micro usb wall plug. It's on sale for $9.99.

I walked into a Best Buy and ask them for a price match. The price match was approved quickly.
Picture frame with built in wireless charging.
Purchased Qi charger off Aliexpress and taped inside picture frame. Had to remove glass for reliable 1 amp charging. Phone held in place on the edge of inner frame.
