[Solved] "Sleep as android" app tracking problem via Galaxy Watch - Xiaomi Mi 9 SE Questions & Answers

I was using "sleep as Android" app on my old Ticwatch Android Wear os and everything works fine. I change my watch with Galaxy Watch and "sleep as android" works with my Asus zenfone max pro m1 but I changed my phone to mi 9 se not working anymore. I hit the watch app and freezing on "starting tracking" but nothing starts. Normally the phone should automatically switch to the record screen.
Edit:Solved. Just give all permission to "Sleep as Android gear companion" app on app list.

I was only able to shut it off by actually shutting the talk back engine using titanium. In titanium go to "freeze apps" and freeze "samsung text-to-speech engine." Of course when you do this, your phone will never be able to talk back. I am sure there are other ways to do it, but this is what I could come up with.

Yep, that's really annoying when using the stock browser! For some reason sammy took out the Google TTS options.
Here's the 2 options to avoid the annoying audio feedbakcks:
1, install Google TTS, here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2472959
2. Chrome browser.

I have the galaxy note 3. .. I can't figure how to turn this feature off... highly annoying!!!!!
This has been happening since the s3. Anytime you have anything under accessibility on, the phone starts talking. Samsung has been notified of this and have yet to fix it.

From my phone I selected Samsung Galaxy Gear on the pull down menu. Then My Apps / Installed Apps / FBQuickview / settings.
Then in Set Accessibility turned off Receive Notifications.
Pity it stuffs up the Facebook notifications on your new watch but it stops that awful voice over TTS , Talkback which plays even if it's turned off.
Potentially related. Tts enabled in stock browser out of box. Changing this from the settings menu did nothing. To disable tts in browser I had to enable the accessibility shortcut via the power key. I noticed that even though talkback was off in settings. the shortcut on the power Key menu showed that it was on. when pressed from this menu,it turns on tts. When pressed again, it turns off tts and then it finally shows in this menu that tts is off. The browser then will not use tts. I then hard reset the device and Verified this procedure a second time. Problem solved with no third party software.

[Q] Screen Mirroring Problem

OK, So I have Nexus 7 2 and I am just loving it. I just bought Samsung Smart TV, and, of course, loving it too :silly:. I actually wanna screen mirror b/w my nexus 7 running Android (of course :3) 4.3.3. When I go to Setting -> Display -> Cast Screen, My TV DOES APPEARS their. Whenever, I connect it ofcourse wont. Yes, I did go to Developer Options and, over there selected Certificate something. And again in Display, I selected "Enable autonomous GO". Whenever my TV says Connecting To Android XXXX, and the cast icon appears on my Nexus 7 notification bar, MY TV JUST SWITCHES TO TV (NORMAL MODE).
Don't tell me it isn't possible, as this person did here, using nexus 7 and Samsung TV

Voice detection screen off (Google Now, Ok Google)

Hi,
I'm starting to use frequently this ok google command for reminders, weather and other things, but it's a pain to double tap on screen everytime I want to use.
According to phonearena LG G4 has the same snapdragon 808 as Nexus 5X but in Nexus this feature works. My question is, is there a way to enable OK google while device is locked and unplugged from charger?
Maybe installing Cyanogenmod will work ?

According to the official documentation this is not supported on any device regardless of ROM:
https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/6031948?co=GENIE.Platform=Android&hl=en
Open the Google app Google .
At the top left, tap Menu Menu and then Settings and then Voice and then "Ok Google" detection.
Check the box next to "From Google app."
For certain devices, you can also change some settings to turn on "Ok Google" detection outside the Google app:
Check the box next to "From any screen" or "Always on."
Follow the instructions to teach Google what your voice sounds like.
Note: "Always on" isn't supported in all languages. If you're unable to turn this feature on, your language may not be supported.
The documentation also states that if you enable the screen lock related setting in the Google app that's all you need to do is to turn on the screen you do not need to have a charger connected but the screen has to be on to make Google work
This option is not enabled even if i change leanguage to english us. The option is only to detect when plugged to charger. Different from nexus or note 4 for example.

see attachment.
I can set this and can even unlock my device with ok google.
My device is not plugged in ! I have to activate the screen first but then it works even when locked.
It also works fine when I use a Bluetooth headset when long pressing the function button there. Even when screen is off.
I use RR.
.
I'm on Imperium and OK Google works when screen on, regardless if it is locked or not. When is plugged to charger it also works with screen off. With a Bluetooth headset it works even with screen off if I press and hold the headset call button for a couple of seconds.

Galaxy Watch Voice Memo App

I can't believe this issue is not getting due attention.
Stealth recording with the Galaxy Watch Voice Memo app is gone since the last software update. The app remains open on the home screen and displays time briefly when I check my watch.

Notification issue

Hi all,
can someone help me with the error I got on a regular basis (see attachment), each 2 or 3 days the notifications stop coming to the watch, when I check the Health app I got the error "system error, notifications not available please restart your phone"
I restart the phone then it works again.
I'm using Xiaomi Mi 9 phone with MIUI global 11.0.6 stable.
the screenshot was taken with the beta app but its the same with official health app as well.

thanks !
Same problem using mi 9t pro and Huawei band
Did you change the Battery Saver option under Settings>Apps>Manage Apps>Health from Battery Saver to no restrictions?
Also having this problem and have same phone (mi 9). The health app is set to no restrictions for battery
I have this problem too. Health app without restrictions for battery, enabled to display notifications. When I delete the data (data + cache) of the health app, reconnect with watch gt 2, turn on the notifications again, then the watch receives the notifications until next bluetooth disconnect. When phone and watch reconnect automatically (because return into Bluetooth range), the notifications will not pushed on the watch anymore.
I have found how to fix that Problem: switch on and confirm DND on the watch and after this switch off DND. Of course, all other settings must also be correct: Health app enabled for notifications, autostart and no limit on energy consumption.
