Mi 10 lite Rooted - Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite Guides, News, & Discussion

You are full responsible for your own action,if your phone get bricked.
At the moment I write this, there is no official rom to download, backup your phone rom first in case of failure.
I prefer use command dd.
Tools needed:
1. platform-tools download link : https://dl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools-latest-windows.zip
2. Twrp recovery (put it in the platform-tools directory)
download link : http://www.mediafire.com/file/dgjctdglkzpy918/341_MI10_Lite.rar/file
Procedure:
1. unlock bootloader
2. boot to fastboot mode
3. open command prompt on your PC with directory platform-tools as root directory.
exercute command : fastboot boot twrprecovery.img and finish the decryption.
4. enter : adb shell,press enter
dd if=/dev/block/sde55 of=/sdcard/Download/boot.img ,press enter (in case you did not have backup it yet)
5. reboot to system and install Magisk Manager apk
6. run Magisk Manager, click install and choose patch boot.img ( make sure Keepforceencrypt and Avb 2.0/Dm-verify are checked)
7. Copy magisk_patched.img to platform-tools directory
8. boot to fastboot mode again
9. In the command prompt enter : fastboot flash boot magisk_patched.img
fastboot reboot
10.Let the system startup, your Mi 10 lite is rooted. Done.
After many edits, post is still not display correctly, hope everyone can understand.

Q&A
Does TWRP from that chinese forum presist after flashing ?
No. Phone will go back to original RECOVERY after 2nd restart.
Does that TWRP is functional with REDMI NOTE 8 PRO ?
Some functions may work, some not.
Installing root with this TWRP will cause bootloop.
When something go wrong....
If you end up with BOOTLOOP, for any reason ( Magisk etc. )
Just flash boot.img from FASTBOOT + RECOVERY+BOOT and bring your phone back to life.
This boot.img was extracted from firmware linked above.

If yes, then it is fully supported by mi flash? I think it's the safest way to flash stock rom right now because you don't have to unlock the boot loader just to flash global or china rom.

The ROM is based on the Chinese beta version 9.10.17 Miui 11 and the Magisk is integrated into the ROM. Just flashed the archive with ROM from TWRP. I do not have a direct link to ROM - I downloaded it from the OTA server. You need to ask on the developers site.

Point 4 & 5 make no sense. Point 4 is general procedure to install TWRP on any Redmi/Mi/Xiaomi/Poco device.
Point 5 is specifically for Mi 11x/Poco F3/Redmi K40. Why would u club both points in the steps. At the end both have the same purpose but shouldn't be clubbed as a guide for Mi 11X/Poco F3/Redmi K40. You wont be able to install TWRP in these devices using point 4 at all.

im curious to know if you did that from the live cd of the distro you picked or if you installed linux
Not a live cd. Fully installed on the drive. Had to dual boot.
Just try different versions of the rom but same region where you bought

How To Guide [GUIDE] [Root Miui 14.0.8.0 Eu Stable without PC and without custom recovery]

prerequisite:
• Bootloader unlocked
• Mi 11 Lite 5G NE with Miui V14.0.8.0.TKOCNXM_ Eu stable here
• any other Android device rooted with magisk and Adb fastboot module installed
• Termux
• USB-C OTG adapter or USB-C to USB-C cable
Instructions :
• Download the patched boot.img below on the rooted device and check that USB debugging is enabled on both devices.
• Connect the 2 devices with the cable
• Open termux and type su
• Then type adb devices
• at this point if your Mi 11 device is recognized you can continue otherwise something is wrong.
• Reboot Mi11 to fastboot using key combinations or typing this command in termux adb reboot bootloader
• Then flash the boot.img by typing this command fastboot flash boot {file path/name}.img
• In our case it will be precisely this command if your file is in the Download folder
fastboot flash boot/storage/emulated/0/Download/EU_boot_V14.0.8.0_magisk_patched_Lisa.img
reboot and enjoy your rooted device.
Special thanks for osmOsis and Surge1223 who developed this very useful module
{note: extract first to get boot.img}

Yes no problem it's quite the opposite I had problems activating Volte on the global version Miui 12/13 this only happened with the operator Orange impossible to deactivate 4G calls but no hassle here to enable or disable Wi-Fi/4G calls and messages works fine with Mi message or Google message
Ok thanks... Since I'm in 14 version eea, I think there's no TWRP compatible. How can I flash it without custom recovery please?

I have not found a way to flash the fastboot roms without a pc so you will have to use the computer it's quite easy unzip the firmware and click on Windows first install having connected the phone and checks before that it is well recognized by Adb fastboot
Ok... I try

yes of course it's the same, this file does not format the Rom it's just to have Root with Magisk stable 25.2.
