I want to use the dualboot of Android, but I don't know what build/brand mine TP2 is. I heard you have different tutorials for different builds/brands.

Please, always stick to english so other people can understand.
CMDA is a network similair to the GSM network. And because android works from your sd card, you can never brick your phone because u checked cmda

Well, if you take off the back cover of your phone you will see behind the battery which model you have. I have Verizon so it says RHOD500. Yours will be listed in the startup file, or you can check behind the battery (remove the battery) and look for RHODXXX, where the XXX is the phone you have.

im on the 2905 finland version and as the flash addict i am would really wnat to flash the new version, but has anyone installed it and/or noticed any changes to the 2905 version?
i have to many apps to reinstall if i flash again so i dont want to if there is no real changes to the os/performance?
the new version on navifirm is rm-823 var ng cv black
so i now that the cv is for country variant and it doesnt matter if u flash black on a white/cyan and so on..
but what does var ng stand for?

Dont know what VAR NG stand for i installed it for some days....i got a white one...there isnt anything new "only" u can´t install bluetooth and ringtone maker app...u lose it if u flash the new 7.8 version....
So iam back on the old/first version

I went to orange and they said i should pay 100 euro to unlock it, and the phone it`s 200 ...

Hello guys. I've got a GSM version of GNex. I was using SlimKat 4.4.2 build 5 and I just wanted to get back on stock rom(Yakyu). So I downloaded my factory rom. I watched this video actually. youtube.com/watch?v=uO7HkTrRzwM
By the way, There is no rom installed in my phone. In fact, I erased all the data where I can see when i plug it in my computer.
Then I came to CWM, I wiped all partition, cache, dalvik all the stuff. Now My phone cannot boot. It stays on the boot screen when I try to boot my phone. Is my phone a brick now?
I cannot see my phone in My Computer when I plug it in. So I can't copy new image files on my phone. I am being searching for 4 hours and still couldn't get any further. I don't thinks there's a hardware problem.
I don't have much experience. Can you help me to get rid of this situation? Thanks. Sorry for bad English.

Turkish: Hocam galaxy nexus toolkit diye bir uygulama var. Çok eskiden forumda vardı da linkler ölü olabilir. Onunla orjinal romu kurabilirsin. Her şeyi adım adım o yaptırıyor zaten. Bulamazsan eğer, adb sideload ile kolayca indirdiğin romu kurabilirsin. İçinde rom yokken sd karta ulaşamazsın malesef. Ha adb push ile koyabilirsin romu telefonuna ama sideload daha kolay.

Usta Allah razı olsun senden, sideload ile çözdüm işi. Biraz uğraştırdı ama olsun. Youtube'dan da bir video buldum, sideload olayını anlatan, 10 numara 5 yıldız oldu. Gnex toolkit için Unified Android Toolkit adı altında bir program indirdim fakat pro mro bişiyler dedi, kullanamadım onu.
Şimdi boş bir vaktimde tekrar stok roma dönmeye çalışacağım. İşler ters giderse yapacağım şeyi biliyorum en azından. Çok sağol.
Guys, I figured out how I am gonna get my phone back working. It's secret is CWM's sideload. First, you need Android SDK. Download it and unpack it on a directory. It doesn't matter where. After that, you should put the custom rom which you're gonna install on your phone into the \sdk\platform-tools in Android SDK. By the way, you should install some of add-ons of the SDK. I recommend you download everything except Android APIs on the manager.
After that, go to the platform-tools directory. While pressing shift button, you should right click on anywhere empty in file explorer. And you should see something like open command prompt here. I am not sure about what it says because I'm using another language of Windows.
When you open command prompt, you should get to recovery mod on your phone. When you get there, go to install zip from sideload option. During this operation, your smartphone has to be connected with your PC. If your pc doesn't recognizes your phone, I recommend you download and install ADB driver. I would have been given a link but I'm just a junior member. Administrator doesn't allow me to give links, so you can Google ADB driver. When you made it, just type this on your command prompt.

After that, don't panic. You should wait 1-4 minutes for results. If you see some number in the end of operation, it means it is successful.
All of that worked on my GNex. I hope the same for you.

Hi, I bought a X80Pro and has a funtouch ROM. Does it exist a chinese and a global version? My phone has all the language but I had to install all the Google matters by myself. If I have reduced version of the ROM does somebody know where to find a Global ROM to flash? Thnks
Funtouch is the global ROM. The Chinese ROM is Origin OS Ocean. Although you may have to download and install your choice of Google apps from the Playstore, they will all work. On the CN version a few Google functions, such as autobackup, Android Auto, etc., won't work.

You are right, but I know they are going to expand the selling in Europe. I don't think they are going to sell it with a ROM without Android auto, for example.

Today the price was announced for germany: 1300€ (equals 1350$). And this for the 12/256 GB version...
Its like a bad joke, if you see that you can import the 12/256 version from China for under 900€.

In reality there are some small differences: it does not work Android Auto and Google bkp. I did try to change the standard lancher and it does not work. I would like to flash the standard Global Android ROM

Sounds strange to me, I thought global is global. Like everyone knows global was only India with the last models of Vivo phones.
I'm very excited to get the x80 pro here in Europe.
Hope funtouch is as good as Origin os is but without the few points which are missing in origin os.

YI have the same doubt, I really like the X80 pro but in my country Colombia they launch it tonight and it will come at a price of $6,500,000 That is equivalent to 1,500 USD while the Chinese version costs about 850 USD. Is Color OS or Funtouch OS better? Could I change from Color OS ROM to Funtouch OS ROM? Thank you.

If you mean Origin Ocean instead of ColorOs, then no you can't switch between them (and it will maybe take a long time until someone finds a reliable way to switch)
As far as I know noone even found yet how to unlock the bootloader on the x80 pro
Also if it's anything like the x70 pro+, if you're gonna use the chinese rom, some stuff in the phone will stay in chinese even if the phone is set to be in english
and you can't (at least yet) get all the normal apps people use outside of china, to behave well enough on the chinese rom
overall I wouldn't say vivo flagships are a good investment (at least currently) if you're going to want to really use your phone beside basic use

Can this be applied to global version? When I first installed the beta I wasn't not sure which version I installed. My phone had an entirely different look to it. But it worked fine. Outside the normal beta bugs. I then reinstalled the roll back firmware then reinstalled the beta and now the phone is no different looking than reg android 12. So can this be installed over w20?
