Fully Wipe internal storage and format data (Must for first time flashing TWRP)

yes flash rom, patch1 from the rom theard, then this kernel and it will work
aod is not working because j5 doesnt support it... (there is a fix but a bit complicated)

A : its a feature from samsung that Auto-Disables Inactive Big Cores to reduce power consumption

A : thats due to hotplug removing the sysfs files that control the frequency and overwrite them by stock values

A : Yes, The kernel has all the needed bypasses already so it can even bypass safteynet without Magisk

Simple. All you need to do is to push the BlueLightFilter apk from a supported rom 8.0/8.1 to priv-app and make a reboot. Add the toggle for it, or launch it via activity launcher.

Backup EFS, DATA and KERNEL as always in TWRP !!!
Download the latest kernel version zip file
Go to recovery
Flash the CLEAN ROM, next restore Your DATA and flash the kernel zip with root or not
Choose aroma selection
Flash Magisk separately or with Aroma installer
Reboot
ThunderTweaks app is installed.
If You wnat to flash this kernel and have installed another custom kernel like MoRoKernel or Arianoxx, You have to clear ThunderTweaks, MTweaks or Kernel Adiutor cache before You install.
If You dont want one of the possibilities for root inside Aroma Installer please choose no root and next flash any root mods manually.

No it's for Note FE port pie rom. You can find it on S7 edge xda forum. It's also compatible for S7 flat.

If you have flashed Root through any means other than magisk, Please uninstall it (SuperSU>Full unroot)
Open developer options (Press aboutphone > build number 7 times) Enable OEM Unlock (Google RMM if you had issues)
Flash TWRP Recovery that can be found in J730 Section
Fully Wipe internal storage and format data (Must for first time flashing TWRP)
Copy Kernel to your desired Location
Install Zip > Select kernel.zip
Reboot and wait
Kernel does not include Magisk. Download it here if you need it

A : No, this only supports NEW OneUI roms released in august 2019 and up

A : ive tested the kernel on the Max over clock setting (Without turning off the 4 big cores) without any problems for a month

A : its a feature from samsung that Auto-Disables Inactive Big Cores to reduce power consumption. it has been disabled due to wasted performance

A : Yes, The kernel has all the needed bypasses already so it can even bypass safteynet without Magisk

A : No, You cant use secure Storage, However it has PirvateMode Support built in (if your ROM supports it too)

A : Yes, it works on both Stock 9.0 and custom Roms made after August 2019​

As a final note, this kernel was made for J5 J7 at first. but it seems to be a popular choice for devs to port to their devices. so i figured to provide a version for most 7870 Devices.
This kernel was previously known as Helios 2.7 . it was available in previous J710 Roms. Please note that this is only designed to work one the current OneUI based roms.

J710X means all J710 variants. Like F/FN/FQ/MN...

Elite tuner showind white screen and freezing. What to do?

I tried v3.0 with stock oreo rom.. it kept stuck up in booting up... Eventually over and hour i gave up...

This is clearly a kernel make for ONEUI PIE roms as it is mentioned all over the thread.
this is not gonna work on AOSP or Oreo or Nougat

Recheck the root permission and grant it again as magisk is known for delaying su permission sometimes.
