Question Any way to disable incoming calls on LTE version? - Google Pixel Watch

I have my eSIM configured in my Pixel Watch LTE, and all is working fine so far. However, from time to time I'd look to have my little son wear the watch, when he is out and about alone by himself, so he can call me in case he gets lost, or I can find his location. Generally, this works, but the problem is that the watch also rings when I receive calls: The eSIM is a MultiSIM of my Vodafone contract, so it has the same number as mine in my main phone. Of course I don't want my son to receive my phone calls on the watch.
Is there any way of disabling incoming phone calls, or the the notifications / vibrations of them? Or, ideally, disabling the signaling of any incoming call except if it comes from a certain number (like my own landline)?

I haven't received the watch yet, but it should have Do Not Disturb settings which you should be able to configure as you wish. For instance, your son could receive calls from Starred contacts only, while all the others are blocked.
Edit: See here
" Do Not Disturb: Turn off all notifications and silence incoming calls. Press and hold to customize exceptions for priority and repeat callers, alarms, and media sounds. "

That's the perfect solution, thank you very much!

Tethering and Phone Calls

Another thread about tethering...
I'm curious if anyone does it as much as I do...
Anyway here's my problem. It seems as if when I use Internet Sharing...any phone calls I get, I would miss without notification. And when I get the call, it doesn't go straight to voicemail...it will ring a few times and then voicemail will popup.
I know the nature of GPRS and Phone calls not working together at the same time...but is there a way for me to be notified of a phone call during Internet Sharing? Even if it means I would get disconnected...I'd rather not miss my phone calls.
right now i use it alot at home. what i do is set my phone to forward calls to home phone while i'm using internet sharing. But for some reason i cant use the first option under call forwarding. the other remaining options i set to a phone number and the time span to 5 seconds.
Ahh call forwarding...good idea...but is that my only option available right now?

Not Receiving Incoming Calls

So for some reason, my Evo just stopped receiving incoming calls. I can make calls fine, but when someone calls me, my phone doesn't ring. I tried using my land line to call my phone and it rings 4-5 times and goes to voicemail. However, the phone never rings at all. I'm not sure what the problem can be and how to resolve this issue. This just started happening today.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
edit:sorry

Thanks for the suggestion.
I called sprint and got it fixed. Had to restore everything by doing ##3282# and entering MSL and restoring the data profile.
Are you on 3G only? I've had similar problems. I think what happens is that the phone gives priority to certain data activity (like account syncs) over voice (and SMS). And depending on what you're syncing and what kind of speeds you're getting then it could block you from getting calls for several minutes at a time. I use the hotspot a lot and I basically can't receive calls or SMS when I'm on 3G using the hotspot.
Try turning off all account syncing stuff (or go on wifi) and then try calling your phone. See if the calls go through. That's not a fix, really. Just a way to figure out what the problem is.
If this is your problem then one kind of lame work around is to go to Settings->Call and switch the voicemail provider over to google voice. This way your calls will automatically roll over to google voice and from there you can set it up to fwd calls to either your landline or gchat or something. Also, you'll at least get missed call notifications. I haven't figured out a way to handle SMS though. I routinely get them delayed by at least 10 minutes. I've just been telling people to text me on google voice. But that's a pain.

[Q] Phone not ringing for some contacts

My phone is not ringing for some contacts. For instance, if I call my cell phone from my work phone, my cell phone will not ring IF I have my work phone number stored in my contact list. No vibrate, no missed call indication, no nothing. But, if I delete my work number from my contact list, the phones rings as it should. I can get calls from some other contacts in my contact list and the phone rings as it should. But not my work number. So, is there some app or something that I may have set to keep my work phone number from ringing through?

Incoming Whatsapp, Skype voice and video calls not being notified on Galaxy Watch

Hi All,
I've been a long-time user of Samsung wearables and I know that ALWAYS I've gotten all incoming call notifications not matter where it comes from.....until now.
I have had my Galaxy Watch paired with my stock standard Galaxy S7 Edge phone for around 4 months now and I've noticed I never get a notification/vibration when an incoming Whatsapp call is ringing on my phone. The same goes for Skype calls. Instead, my watch just notifies me I've just missed the call after the caller gives up.
Normal telephone calls work as you would expect.
This was never a problem for me with the previous Samsung smartwatches I've owned.
I took both devices to Samsung in Hamburg and I took it to Samsung in Australia twice and they couldn't help me at all... The manufacturer of both devices are clueless and sent me away with no way of fixing it.
Anyone here noticed this able to help?
probably you already did it but if not, you should open the galaxy wearable app, go to setting -> notifications -> manage notifications and enable the apps you need.

Your right, I have done that. I've tried all sorts of stuff.
Samsung also have had my watch three times now and also couldn't get it to work. Their reply after testing it and seeing for themselves, 'no remedy'. My reply, 'yes remedy, full refund'. Their reply, 'no remedy, no refund, here is your watch'. Me, 'NSW Fair Trading complaint then' (I live in NSW, Australia).
Just out of interest, are you getting notified of all incoming calls on Whatsapp, Skype etc. on your watch?

Incoming calls whatsapp with s8+ not working for me with pie cause authentication for call notification is quiet and not changeable. In my opinion that's the problem why you get message notifications but no call notifications. I wished it would get a mod.

Question DND allow only phone calls

Just picked up the 11 and I am trying to set it up as my older phone (Note 10) regarding DND (do not disturb).
With my old setup, I could silence everything except phone calls. With the new phone, it seems that phone calls are tied to messages and filtered by all contacts, favorites or none.
Putting Phone and Phone calls as app exceptions will silence calls received if for the People section I select None, and selecting Contacts in People will permit group Whatsapp messages etc. which is really annoying.
Does anyone know how I can allow only phone calls (without regard to who's calling) and block everything else?
