It's there, but hidden. Phone > 3 dot menu > Settings > Calling Accoutns > Tap on your SIM > Wifi Call.
can anbody confirm that WiFi Calling is working with Deutsche Telekom in germany ?
For me it is under Settings / Network & Internet / Mobile Network / Advanced / Wi-Fi Calling
I don't see either option in my TA-1050. It wasn't there in Oreo, it isn't there in Pie.
Can it depend on carrier or the SIM card(s) inserted?
Wifi Calling worked for me with o2 network (third-party prepaid supplier) and Nokia 6.1 (TA-1043) on Android 8.
After the Update to Android 9, the Wifi Calling option is missing under the settings (see @Berzerker7 comment) and does not work anymore.
I already tried carrier reset, the USSD codes *#*#86583#*# and *#*#4636#*#* and added an IMS APN. Nothing worked.
Hey, so I just bought a new SIM card from Airtel, and turns out, VoWiFi is not working on it. Jio (another sim) provides VoWiFi support fully, and it works completely, by the way. I contacted both Airtel and Google and they just keep on the "blame-the-other" game.
Anyone managed to force enable VoWiFi? VoLTE works already (even though the phone isn't listed in the supported list for Airtel), but not VoWiFi.

Hi guys... I am hoping someone can assist. I am struggling to access the volte option on my S20 Ultra.
Going via apps > connections > mobile networks no option is there.
But when using the Samsung Band Selection app and selecting the more network settings option, i am taken to screen with that option.
When i try accessing service mode via *#2683662# it just brings up a blank screen.
Is there anything I can check or do ?

In some cases only the phone company can unlock it. In Australia, if your phone is not locked to one telco, the option does not appear. Telstra automatically enable it, but Optus had to be asked to unlock it from their end. Check with your teco.

I bought my S20 Ultra from the online Samsung Store (Europe).
I don't have the VoLTE option in the menus. But I do have the VoLTE connectivity while on calls, no action was needed.
I know that for my provider, VoLTE has to be enabled from the provider's side in case of first activation (new contract with new SIM or passing from non-VoLTE device to a compatible device).
So try making a call if you're still on 4G, then you're OK.
If it doesn't work, try contacting your provider's customer service, maybe it needs an action from their side.

My colleague has a Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro - is there a similar set of instructions available to enable VoWifi and VoLTE on that phone in Australia?
In NZ I had success using these Phone codes that turned on VoLTE for me (no VoWIFI for my network). These seem to be standard codes for Xiaomi worldwide that enable support if the underlying software recognises your network's version.
To turn on VoLTE: open your phone app and dial *#*#86583#*#* and you'll see a quick toast message saying it's turned on. Type the code again to turn it off.
To turn on VoWifi: open your phone app and dial *#*#869434#*#*
To check settings *#*#INFO#*#*
Also look under the SIM card settings. If you've enabled either properly there should be a menu item saying "Use VoLTE" and similar.
Once enabled for me it took a few minutes for VoLTE to register. I rebooted, but don't think that was necessary. Now I make VoLTE calls (4G stays in place during the call) and I have a VoLTE icon in the status bar.
Open the Dialer. enter this code – *#*#869434#*#* Once you dial, you'll get a small notification saying “Vowifi carrier check was disabled”
Go to settings, networks and sim, go down to the bottom, activate the Wi-Fi calling option and then select Prefer Wi-Fi.
connect to a wifi network and see if the VOWIFI symbol appears at the top where the coverage is
