Nothing, same situation also oneplus 5 has same problem

what happens if you go back to your original firmware?

Or you could see if there is a display test in the engineering menu.

I think this is screen burn also. It may be more visible now because the icons are in slightly different places vs before? This looks exactly like screen burn on my 7TP5G and is the only thing that makes sense across all versions but it'd be interesting to find out it's something else

Flashed pmic.elf from latest miui china Pie. I usually flash modem, bt, dspo and sbl with no problems but I guess pmic was too much for mixing firmware stuff. The phone is in EDL mode but doesn't accept anything from diffident miflash and qfil versions on different usb ports on two different PCs with Windows 10/7 and on Ubuntu with qdl. Battery removed didn't help too. Gave up and bought new one...

Does this replace MiFlash or MiUnlock?
No. Fastboot ROM flashing is available so MiFlash can mostly be substituted but implementing EDL flashing or MIUI unlocking would only make the program unnecessarily complex.

Plenty of treble gsi roms are available. Rock solid with minor issues. If you find a vendor that ships no bloatware, please share the wisdom.
Nope, I just check for Lineage OS but without that I will sell it and buy something without ads.
even EU rom has no ads and it's already perfect.
should've tried that before selling

Just checked the oxygen updater app. It's at 11.0.8.8.IN11BA...looks like you will have to wait for a bit. Usually IN11BA gets the full update before the IN11AA version, this time it's reversed.

Thx for answer, I dowload from official web side, change region, and dowload 11.0.9.9AA and istall. Thx
Anyone knows the differences between this and the EU version? I accidentally installed this over my EU...
You don't just accidentally install a different region's update.
You might have issues with signal as different regions tend to have different variety of bands for mobile connectivity, but other than that probably nothing else is different.

Question Is there any way to get Samsung DEX on this phone?

As this phone shares the same chip as the samsung galaxy note 10 would it be possible to port it from that phone and get DEX?
Set up and use Samsung DeX on your Galaxy phone or tablet
Samsung DeX gives you a PC-like experience on phones or tablets. Once it's plugged into a monitor or TV, it feels like you're using a computer or laptop.

It's not just a matter of porting the app, I think you'd have to port the whole firmware (system at the very least) since I'm almost certain DeX has some dependencies inside framework which probably don't exist in stock firmware.

Sorry if it's not on there, it's likely not doable.
There's the possibility it could be added in a latter upgrade if the hardware can support it.
You could try it per those instructions and see what happens... at the worst it won't load or you just uninstall the added apps if you can't get it to run.

Have to disagree. It's completely doable, but with root and custom edits. Not easy, but not impossible. Been using it successfully on A71, A52 and A52s, phones that have SoCs that never had it before.

Question Mi11T amber and agate is same Rom?

anyone know Mi11T amber and agate Rom is compatible? my phone is amber? thanks
I don't have those devices, but unless noted by the ROM developer, always assume that a ROM is not compatible with any devices other than what's specified by its creator. So you can assume that it's not. You can always try out Generic System Images if there's no ROM for your device.
thanks for you reply ,just check Rom code is same ,that's why need to confirm

To be checked, but at the start Amber was the code name of the K40 Ultra (Game Enhanced Edition) and Agate of the 11t but depending on the region certain versions of the 11t are Amber.
Phone version: K40=K11T 11T=K11R
Different camera.

Both have a MediaTek soc.
The devices have four codenames as Agate, Agategl, Agatein and Amber. The model number of 108MP will be the K11T, which will be exclusive to China and India, and the 64MP model will be K11R and available in the Global market.

It looks like 8.1 is the latest OEM release for that device.
Your only option to run a newer version of Android is with a custom ROM or a GSI. However, all the development I see is for the J200/J210, not the S260.

If there is no development available, the lack of a custom recovery makes things difficult.
Can you confirm whether your device is a SM-J260 or -S260? Settings > About should tell you; the model number is also printed on the back but can be hard to read
