When is the Pixel Experience ROM for Poco F5 coming out?

Well I don't think the kernel sources are even out...

I am waiting for PE too

It takes between 12 and 18 months to have a Stable rom with a hard working Dev.
2 devices with the Realme GT Neo 5 SE currently with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen2.

Current state of the Mi 6 development

Hey,
I have doubts about the current state of the Mi 6 development and I didn't find any discussion around here about that.
Is the kernel source code released yet? Will it take long?
No. Previous devices like the Mi 5 and Mi 5s took 6 and 8 months, respectively, to its release.
Is it likely that Mi 6 will get a AOSP rom?
This is more likely when the kernel source code are released. There is an (AOSP) UNOFFICIAL rom of the LineageOS for the Mi 6.
Did LOS or RR gave a hint about making the rom available for Mi 6? Is the chances high?
A UNOFFICAL release for LineageOS is out. Official roms will probably be released when the kernel source code is available.

Looking back at the previous Xiaomi flagship devices :
- It took 6 months for Mi 5's kernel source to be released.
- It took around 8 months for Mi 5S/ 5S Plus kernel source to be released.
Mi 6 is about 2 months old right now. I think we have to wait a bit longer for the AOSP/LOS ROM.

Yeah, but we can have AOSP unnofficial roms without kernel release, right?
I think the oddly delay on the Mi 5s kernel should not happen again.
I think I'll wait longer to buy the Mi 6 then.
Thanks for the reply.
This is kind of a bummer if true. I recently got my mi 6 hoping for an early LOS nightly in 4-5 weeks. Let's see how MIUI holds up for several months then.

Seriously, it's a phone under $100. What the hell did you expect? There are plenty of custom roms if you got bored with the stock, but noone gives a **** about oreo. What oreo feature do you want to use this desperately? If there will be an official oreo, thats fine, if won't, there are plenty of cheaper phones with oreo you can buy.

I doubt there will be a stable rom for it. miui "devs" are abandoned this phone a long time ago, they won't fix the camera on 8.0. As you can see they updated it to miui 10, but with 7.1.2. Oreo is a piece of crap anyways.
Haha, the same as always "be patient".
At least give us a reward for this delay and give Oreo in next stable update or portrait mode this phone deserves.
Redmi Note 5A has the same specs as Redmi 5A, what kind of critical issues could be there when Redmi 5A has Oreo already somehow? Just admit Xiaomi doesn't care about this device. Those "critical issues"
Can somebody port Redmi 5A to Redmi note 5A/prime?
More Customizations and useful Modules.
Seriously man. Android Oreo has a lot of cutomization options that Nougut still doesn't offer. One Oreo ROM will be enough for all the Redmi Note 5A users.

If you use AOSPExtened, AndroidOne, Lineage port, you have literally 3 times more customization features than in a stock Oreo rom.
I just updated to MIUI 10.2 stable, it's obvious they won't bring Oreo to this Redmi Note 5A prime. Well, they shouldn't, I'm thinking of getting the Redmi Note 6 Pro or Redmi Note 7 this summer.

Are there any chances that redmi note 8 pro will get custom rom support

i am thinking to buy either redmi note 8 pro or poco f1 for a friend of mine. The poco f1 has a great support from custom rom developers but on the redmi side there has been some problems. Even miui.eu stopped supporting redmi note 8 pro and there has been some problems with twrp. So which is a better buy, redmi note 8 pro or poco f1.
I was thinking to ask the same. Since xiaomi.eu dropped support this week I am pretty sure this is dead device from that point of view. I am giving back my RN8 Pro to vendor and go with MI9 SE instead. Better display, better camera, smaller, lighter and for the same price..
Maybe GSI:s will work well for it. Seem to be some people that got them running.
i think no...if bricked its so hard to flash..need authorized account...this why no development
I was interested on this device but ended up ordering a regular Snapdragon Note 8. Mediatek just can't get it yet. Maybe in the future.
But yeah, for now avoid Mediatek devices if you want to mod then. It's a sad reality, and it has been true for many years. Hope it changes someday.

Pixel Experience Android 10

Hi everyone.
I wanted to know if anyone had successfully installed pixel experience 10 on the mi max 3 ?
If this is not the case, will the developers want to release the rom that has already been released on the pocophone f1.

Question Poco f3 review

I'm planning to buy poco f3, initially I was considering realme gt master edition. Currently I am a user of realme and I love realme ui because of its stock android look but now I want an upgrade and the poco f3 have sd 870 which is a phenomenal chip. But I am not sure about its overall experience because of xiaomi software. If any of you guys help me in giving your opinion on this phone. It will be a great help for me in making a good decision.
You can always put some custom ROM on it like LineageOS. Myself I'm on LineageOS 20 (used to be on 19 for half a year), and I recommend.
