Question Help: Magisk ERROR 1 TWRP - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

I own a Poco F3 to date I have always managed to install CUSTOM ROM without problems.
This morning I wanted to install the stock ROM with my flash tool to start from a "clean" situation. The problem I encounter is the following.
- I FASTBOOT boot TWRP v6.3_A12-alioth-skkk;
- ADB SIDELOAD CUSTOM ROM (Specifically SparkOS latest May release)
- REBOOT INTO RECOVERY (I specify that it restarts the same one with which I booted - keep this thing in mind)
-adb sideload magisk 26.1, this operation ends with ERROR 1 in red
-DATE FORMAT
Now at the end of this process the custom ROM starts, and magisk is not installed.
The first thought now to install magisk is to reflash the latter, but ANY recovery that I try to load from this moment on does not start, the phone shuts down directly.
Where am I wrong and how can I fix it?

Hi you could try my previous post:
I prefer to use my "Temporary Recovery" program and TWRP to install any Custom Rom, Magisk v26.1 ect and a OTG Adaptor.
[A13]Evolution X for POCO F3/Mi 11x[alioth][OFFICIAL]
Evolution X 7.0 for the POCO F3 [alioth] /* * Your warranty is void. Or vaild, probably? * * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, Ebolation X, * thermonuclear war, or the current economic crisis caused by you following *...
forum.xda-developers.com
I hope it helps.

Unfortunately I don't have an OTG, any other solution?
Consider that I start from a flash, therefore a phone with stock rom, I repeat "clean", so in doing so we are going to avoid some problems due to the multiple CUSTOM ROM installations.
Where is it that I'm wrong?

Don't ask me why, don't ask me how but I solved it!!!
TWRP boot twrp-3.7.0_12-0-alioth.img
And I installed the file: Magisk-v25.2.apk
Content in the zip of the post you mentioned earlier.
The magisk flash was successful without errors and of course I booted a TWRP which as I said before was the only one that could boot

I've tried according to the steps above but the result is also a bootloop.
already created vendor, install projectspaget_v3, install OneOSMi8lite-Aonly-.IMG > Install System Image, Install CronosKernel_V5 the result is the same but my bootloop is using j730g/ds.
There is another solution so I can use the rom, what if you do a full backup via twrp OneOSMiLite8-Aonly so we can just restore via twrp.

could you enable data decryption for android 12, or it impossible?
even once I disabled screen lock entirely, I can't "decrypt /data" for some reason, which severely limits the entire point of custom recoveries
(running via fastboot boot, not permanent install, but shouldn't make a difference)
otherwise it looks pretty cool!

did you boot recovery?
I can make a guide on how to decrypt data on this device, it's really easy to do it, in the Moto G³⁰ group in BR we have two methods to do it.
Although since the recovery is based on TWRP 3.7.0-12-0 it should decrypt itself )))
why else would I write here if I didn't boot into this orangefox, lol
I did
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot OrangeFox-R11.1_0-Unofficial-caprip.img
it's the same as with twrp, more or less, /data is locked, and mounting of /data is required for like half the functionality, and nandroid backups are most of the point of a custom recovery
from what I've heard twrp SHOULD be able to decrypt android 11 and 12, idk why it doesn't work for me with neither twrp nor orangefox (which even has a nicer pin entry box for decryption), even if I remove screen lock entirely, it can't do it... (I'm running android 12)

With the attached file you can easily decrypt, just follow these steps:
1° Format data
2° Flash zip attached
3° Format data and reboot
After that the storage should be free of encryption.
Or you can use another method, if you use my rom you will know that all the partitions are in read-write, being able to modify anything, including the vendor. Another exp would be:
With the other attachment "fstab.zip"
You can do the download, then unzip "fstab.zip", it will leave a file called "fstab.qcom", with it you go to the vendor and mount it as RW, then follow the path "/vendor/etc" and copy fstab.qcom, then you do a reboot and the storage would be decrypted.

Question how to get persist.img from EU 13.0.6.0 fastboot rom?

hi all. i am using eu 13.0.6.0 fastboot rom on my poco f3. Though i am getting 'find devices storage corrupted' every time i restart. so, i learned i could flash the persist.img from twrp. but how to get that persist.img ? thanks in advance
I don't know about twrp method. But you can use "Payload Dumper" to extract payload.bin file of ROM to access all images. Then flash it by ADB.

Hi,
You could check my post on page 1 of the Evo-X thread, Dated 11-09-2022, regarding using temporary flash and my second post on page 16, link to a different thread to fix "'find devices storage corrupted'"

I always start from a clean install of Xiaomi.eu V12 rom, using a Fastboot version and my PC using "Press a few buttons and wait for my F3 to restart" to fix issues with my custom roms playing up, once the install is completed i install a new rom over the top, again using temporary Recovery via fastboot, i prefer OrangeFox recovery,
I hope you sort it.

problem is, the 13.0.6.0 fastboot EU rom doesnt seems to be a payload.bin type..all *img's are inside of a folder named 'images' and there is no persist image
I'm deeply sorry for misleading.
Fastboot files are simply extracted with winrar, as you said. Those payload.bin files I mentioned are Recovery files.
I believe you better to download the ROM from reliable source like here. Extract persist image and fastboot flash.

Hi,
You could try my post on the Evo-X thread,

Evolution X 7.0 for the POCO F3 [alioth] /* * Your warranty is void. Or vaild, probably? * * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, Ebolation X, * thermonuclear war, or the current economic crisis caused by you following *...

Install temporary Recovery using option 6,
once in TWRP, select Advanced option,
from the scroll down menu select "Flash Current TWRP",
I hope this helps
To install permanent Skkk you must unzip the .zip and copy the .img file to the phone's internal storage, when you start the temporary recovery go to advanced and install twrp ramdisk.
Choose the .img file you copied to storage and flash it.
If I write weird it's because I use the translator.
