Question mobile network issues - Samsung Galaxy A54 5G

it appears flashing my phone to the a546u1 model has hampered the phone's capability of connecting to a mobile network. selecting a network operator fails every time i have tried it. i've tried restarting my phone, resetting the network settings, powering it off for 30 seconds and re-inserting the sim card, and toggling airplane mode on and off. it simply does not allow selecting a network operator. do i have to restore it to the original a546u model and, if so, would a normal factory reset accomplish this or do i need to use a more complicated method?

Did you perform a factory reset when you flashed it?
The U and U1 firmware should be interchangeable, but just for the sake of stability, I would recommend performing a full data wipe when you switch from one to the other.

[Q] Factory Reset

Is there anyway i can set the settings or atleast break factory reset? Thing is i make metropcs roms and if people do a factory reset it resets the data for their data and reverts the apn back to sprint and considering that i changed the apn in the framework-res.apk idk how it resets everything back to sprint
well then maybe they shouldn't be doing factory resets..

[Solution] Bad or No Reception

I have had an issue for 2 months now searching high and low to find out how to fix my bad or no service. I would have service for 3min then boom, nothing for 30min. I flashed a ROM (don't remember which one caused the issue) and instantly had bad reception. I tried everything to fix. I've odin back to 4.1.1 tried new modems. Nothing worked. Then I came across how to do a hard restore (same method as network unlocking)
YOU WILL LOOSE ALL DATA. SAVE TO EXT-SDCARD IF YOU WANT TO SAVE ANYTHING. You might have to downgrade to 4.1.1 first. Thats what I did.
!!WARNING SETTINGS CHANGED IN 197328640 MODE DO NO RESET ON HARD RESET THESE SETTING STAY WITH THE PHONE YOU MIGHT GET THINGS BACK TO NORMAL BY USING *2767*3855# - Full Reset (Caution every stored data will be deleted.)!!
dial this number on your phone *2767*3855# and it will factory reset
Hope this help some out
Thanx

Yes I believe it will
What phone do you have, and what did you do to screw it up. Did you flash wrong modem, or something else ?

you've to flash it 2 times for that it works well, and in between the flashes you've to do a factory reset and cache wipe...
also make sure that in odin f reset time and auto reboot is ticked

[Q] S3 mobile data turning off automatically every day

My wife's galaxy s3 on t-mobile seems to have the mobile data turn off every night at 10:30pm. We've searched for an app causing this and can't seem to find the source. We just recently restored the phone to factory settings, also. I have the same phone, but I'm running CM11 and I don't have this issue so it doesn't seem to be the tower. Any suggestions?
Have you tried flashing the firmware with Odin and then factory resetting after?
Also, after a factory reset, try avoiding signing in to your Google account. It may be automatically restoring some app or setting that could be causing this.

I haven't flashed anything. It is actually a refurbished phone from insurance and it has Android 4.3 on it, which I thought was the latest from t-mobile. I'm pretty sure there isn't an app causing the issue, I've looked through the list of running apps and I don't see any app that would be causing this. It seems to happen very consistently at 10:30pm everyday. Its running stock touchwiz.
What I meant was to try reflashing the firmware anyway. If its currently on the NC2 firmware, reflash that via Odin and then factory reset.
Especially since its refurbished, this will make sure they didn't make a mistake, or have something not work quite right when fixing the prior issues.
If after doing this, it still happens, try putting your own SIM in and see if it still happens. If it continues to disconnect after reflashing firmware and trying your SIM card, you may need to contact insurance and ask them to send one that actually works right as you have determined it is not the firmware or an account issue.

I'm having a strange issue... after flashing latest build with clean install on z008 of cm13 my device doesn't detect SIM card. Even after going back to stock things haven't changed. Do you know any solution?

Factory reset or do a clean install wiping everything except internal SD or ext SD. After the boot up skip everything and restore your data but make sure cellular data and wifi work first before restoring your data.

yep that's what I did a couple of times but with no result
Did you try sim slot 2 and we're your results? It took several minutes before I got my data after doing a factory reset. But I had to do a complete re do over. With installing all apps and accounts. Never did the data restore but lots of people say twrp recovery has issues with this, and they use a custom twrp. I also hear people say there is an issue with sim slot 1 and they use paper or plastic to wedge the sim slot for better connection.
Maybe your apn
