[FIXED] Multiple Blue Screen Glitches Led To Phone Bricking For No Reason

Before the phone turning brick, I was having these weird blue screen glitches that took almost half of the screen. It would stop after a few seconds, but this type of "glitch" happened a few times. 2 days later, I was on the home screen and the phone screen turned fully blue. It didn't go away so I took out the battery. After that the phone turned on with the boot logo but then shutdown itself. Now the phone won't turn on, charge, go to recovery, or go to download mode. Is there any way to fix this? (I don't have insurance on this :/)
(FIXED) It was "fixed" by leaving it charging, but now the blue screen showed up again. Now phone is probably damaged internally :/

There is no solution to blue screen glitches.it is caused by a current IC that draws more current and heats up within 3 5 seconds. I lost one mobile in this game. I feel sorry for you too, it is hardware issue and won't get any repair.

What is "IC"? Also the phone turned on finally last night but when I connected it to a charger the same blue screen happened and now I can't turn it on again. Thanks for the information though

IC means integrated circuit. It's basically an electronic chip.
BSOD Fix
I had the same issue and was able to fix it temporarily for a few weeks but in the end I had to replace the motherboard from a donner phone. I had a lg d850 att and swapped out the mother board with a d851 from T-Mobile phone I found that had a broken screen and it worked fine after some tweaking. As far as your temporary fix (maybe permanent in your case idk) I took out my motherboard and put it in the oven at 385 degrees and baked it for 10 minutes let it cool off and reinstalled it. Phone came right up and worked like normal. Use some aluminum foil balls to put the motherboard on to keep it off of the surface in your oven that you put the motherboard on. That's it!

XPERIA PLAY issue

Hello there!
I am new here as I only just discovered this place... I am hoping someone can assist me.
So I got hold of a Xperia play about 8 months ago, put a new battery into shortly after. It worked great for a few months and then died?
Basically the light goes green when charged and plugged into my computer.
But the screen doesnt come on anymore... It vibrates when I try to turn it on but nothing happens.
Also my computer does not recognize that its plugged in... although it does charge to green light.
Can anyone assist me? I will watch the post with great interest!
Anymore info you require please ask!
Thank you

Thanks for the reply, if the battery short circuited, wouldnt there be no lights on atall?
If is the cause by the battery, have you try buy a new one?
could it be the flat cable that connects the screen to the pad? i wouldn´t know ho to check it tho, maybe wait until it should have booted into android and press the volume buttons to see if it vibrates or does any sound. or slide the pad to unlock and press the volume buttons maybe..

Z5 Premium won't turn on

Z5 Premium not turning on
hello everyone,
PLEASE HELP ME!
My z5 premium was working fine.. battery was charged too, and suddenly it turned off, and it didn't turn on back again. I've tried all the different ways and solutions that should turn it back on:
hard reset didn't work
2 minutes hard reset didn't work
hard reset button didn't work
plugged it in using it's OEM charger and usb cable didn't work either and LED didn't lit up
plugged it in to the computer nothing happened, wasn't detected with no sign of life
I had to take off it's battery cover (using professional tools) unplugged the battery, connected the phone to the charger while the battery is unplugged, and nothing happened reconnected the battery back, and plugged the phone again to it's wall charger, and no sign of life.
i left it there all night long since the afternoon. and when i came back in the next morning to check if the phone is charging and the LED is lit up, but again NO SIGN OF LIFE!
(BTW, the phone is in mint condition and it was never been disassembled or repaired)
Please if anyone have an idea what this could be?
if anyone has encountered the same problem and went through the same of what I've been, and was able to repair it or find a solution PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
Now, I'm thinking of 2 things: either the battery is completely dead(damaged) or it's the mainboard which I don't hope to be.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS!
Now, forget about any sort of software repair, as I explained above, the phone didn't succeed in that.
So, any help or suggestion would be so much appreciated.
Thank you all for taking time in reading and participating in this topic.
Have a good day.

Not happy reading this thread. Why so many issues with Sony Android... Anyway;;
- I recently had the same issue - or an issue in the same ball park. Phone Just died and refused to charge, but would show a red LED and try to boot when plugged in.
- Sent it to Sony, Hoping it is only a dead battery
The OP sounds like a they have a USB port issue or a board issue, also OP phone will no longer waterproof after removal of cover.
Unclear as to whether you have tried the following;
- Turn on whist holding camera button instead of Volume up/down. it is worth a try
- Try to grab an official sony charging cable- basically impossible to buy nowadays, maybe a PS4 controller cable? try it
My stock unrooted Z5p died like this in April. Have the same issue as the OP and tried all the same solutions. My Z5p had only been used indoors for months with WiFi before sudden death. Replacing the charging port did nothing. Using the OEM cable and charger with a new battery gets a 2 sec red light when connected to power and starts booting up until the swirls (gets past Sony Xperia and powered by android screens). Then the screen goes dark and shows the big battery for a couple of seconds.
I didn't realize there was a sudden death problem with Sony phones until I started trying to fix this. What's even crazier is that I had (have) the Xperia Z, Z Ultra, and the Z2. The Z2 was used in the rain constantly and even survived an ejection from a handlebar mount at 15mph onto asphalt. (All these phones were rooted and using custom ROMs/kernels.) Seems like Sony has a serious QC issue they're not taking about.

Zuk Z2 water damaged . Acting weird.

Hi guys. My zuk z2 felt into water sadly. I tried to turn off but phone started acting weird. Screen started to on and off. I let the phone in rice like 2 days. So. I don't know what is the problem right now. When i hold power button like 7-8 seconds phone vibrates and notification led flashes like 0.5 second. And that's it. I don't know phone is on or off right now Because screen is not working. But when i try to charge my phone it comes little hot like always. So i guess phone is working but screen is not. I can't go to service center right now because of my personal problems. Can you tell me what is the real problem right now? Is phone really dead?

Connect phone to pc see if it is connected or not
If yes then open device manager see which port it is using reply here
If not,
Take it to a local phone repair shop have him check if there is any water residue in it.

nope. pc not recognized phone. I did tried 1 or 2 days ago it was saying " usb not recognized" but now nothing.
Led still flashes when i press power button twice. Or connect to charger, usb cable. I flashed oxygen os before water damaged. And that rom has brightness problems. Don't know the exactly problem now. I don't know why led is flashing or why my phone is not working anymore.

Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra Not Working

Hello,
I have owned this phone for about a year and a half now. Yesterday I was traveling and driving a lot so I was not using my phone a lot. I only used it for GPS which drained my battery. When I got home, I went to go plug it in and it did not start charging. I woke up in the morning and it was at 20% and I have class so I figured I would buy a new charger after class.
I went and bought a new charger and it still has not worked. I checked for dirt/debri near the charging port and it was fine. I then tried restarting it and now it will not turn back on. It is a black screen. I clicked the power button twice and it vibrates.
I am not sure what is wrong with my phone and I quite frankly cannot afford a new one. If you have suggestions on what to do I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks
