VZW Note 4 answers calls automatically - auto call answer not enabled - Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Help! This is my second Verizon Note 4 that randomly answers all incoming calls automatically. Once it starts all incoming calls are automatically answered. The first Note 4 started auto answer within 2 days of purchase. I restored the phone, but it had the same issue after factory restore. The VZW retailer replaced the phone. Now 20 days later my current Note 4 started answering all calls within the first ring. The auto answer feature is turned off. I disabled Android wear hoping a wear app was answering calls automatically. VZW tech support says there are no network settings that would cause this issue. My only short term fix is to enable call reject mode, but then all calls go direct to voicemail.

Not Receiving Incoming Calls

So for some reason, my Evo just stopped receiving incoming calls. I can make calls fine, but when someone calls me, my phone doesn't ring. I tried using my land line to call my phone and it rings 4-5 times and goes to voicemail. However, the phone never rings at all. I'm not sure what the problem can be and how to resolve this issue. This just started happening today.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion.
I called sprint and got it fixed. Had to restore everything by doing ##3282# and entering MSL and restoring the data profile.
Are you on 3G only? I've had similar problems. I think what happens is that the phone gives priority to certain data activity (like account syncs) over voice (and SMS). And depending on what you're syncing and what kind of speeds you're getting then it could block you from getting calls for several minutes at a time. I use the hotspot a lot and I basically can't receive calls or SMS when I'm on 3G using the hotspot.
Try turning off all account syncing stuff (or go on wifi) and then try calling your phone. See if the calls go through. That's not a fix, really. Just a way to figure out what the problem is.
If this is your problem then one kind of lame work around is to go to Settings->Call and switch the voicemail provider over to google voice. This way your calls will automatically roll over to google voice and from there you can set it up to fwd calls to either your landline or gchat or something. Also, you'll at least get missed call notifications. I haven't figured out a way to handle SMS though. I routinely get them delayed by at least 10 minutes. I've just been telling people to text me on google voice. But that's a pain.

Can't Receive Calls - Google Voice Issue

Hello everyone. My epic touch works great except I can't receive calls. I think that this is a google voice issue because once I disable the google voice + sprint integration, everything works fine. Sometimes, my phone tells me that I have a missed call. The last time I remember receiving a call is before I installed the google voice app (not sure if that this is the cause). I haven't been able to receive a call for nearly four weeks now.
I am at my wit's end. I think I have tried everything short of posting to this forum until now, including:
1.) Following the advice on a similar thread in this forum. (To dial *710)
2.) Elsewhere it was suggested to dial *720, *730, and *740.
3.) Calling sprint. They suggested it was due to a service outage, though I doubt this is the case as I live in an area with good coverage.
4.) Doing a PRI reset to factory default settings.
5.) Uninstalling the google voice app (and reinstalling it).
6.) Setting up another google voice account to try with a different number.
7.) Having google voice integrate my carrier number over instead of the google voice number.
8.) Following the instructions on post #4 on this sprint forum thread. (To remove google voice, reboot phone, update profile etc., call sprint)
9.) Googling around. There seem to be others who have asked google directly for advice, but they all seem to be "closed to responses" before the issues are definitively resolved.
10.) Flashed another modem.bin found elsewhere on this epic 4g touch forum.
11.) I'm sure there have been other things I've tried..
Can anybody help me? I rarely ask for help but I think I've exhausted all of my options. I'm running StarBurst 1.6.
PS - Is it bad forum etiquette to write in bold so much here?
My phone wasnt receiving calls and i thought it was a google voice issue, so i uninstalled it and still the same issue of not receiving calls.
I dont know if your issue is the same as mine, but when my phone isnt connected to a charger or computer in sleep/idle mode, it wont receive calls or text. my text will come in when i hit the power button to bring it out of idle/sleep mode.
I got the run around from sprint customer service for about a week because of the issue so today they told me to take it to a service center to get it checked out. Turns out the phone is defective and they're going to take a week to get me a new phone.
Its not google voice, with the guy above me that makes 3 of us who are not receiving calls while in sleep mode!

I'm not sure we have the same issue. I never have a problem with text, regardless of whether my charger is connected or not. If I disable google voice integration, I can receive calls to my carrier number, whether or not the phone is in sleep mode. It doesn't look like google forwards calls to my phone when someone calls my google voice number, though.
After re-enabling google voice integration, I left my phone out of sleep mode, called it, and awhile later the phone did ring for about half a second before displaying a missed call. This does not consistently happen as this is the first time I've seen this.

Calls going straight to Voicemail - On a phone call or on no call 75% of time Help!

Hey Guys!
First I read the other threads and they were no help. I am coming from a Rooted Note 3 and all I can say is I wish the Note 3 OS had not updated since I NEVER would have purchased this Note 4.
My issue is as follows:
1. When I am on a Voice call 75-90% of the time my phone goes straight to Voicemail . This happens if another person call even when my phone has 0 calls and I have a full signal. Call waiting does not pick up, nor do I get a beep / msg.
2. This is my second brand new Note 4 from Verizon as I had the same issue with the first phone. I have not re-installed Google Voice, however, I did not notice one issue. On my Note 3 when a call came into the phone and I did not pick up, Google Voice would ring while I was in Gmail. For some odd reason on my Note 4 this does not occur. Is this the culrpit? If so how do I fix Google Voice to Ring my GMAIL? Is it possible the new rollout of Google Hangouts disabled the ability to ring your computer Gmail Google Voice if your phone (Note 4) does not pick up/ you are busy. All I get is a Google Voice Missed Call
3. Every call after about 1 hr gets dropped and then I can get no calls until I reboot my phone / Give it a good few minutes. At this point I get bombarded with incoming data (Facebook/whatsapp/emails). I used to have Facebook set to a 3 hr Refresh interval but it seems now Facebook deleted this option. Anyone have fix for this to test?
Really would appreciate any help

Note 10+ and Forwarding Busy/No Answer calls to Google Voicemail

So I can't seem to get any help from Sprint. This worked fine on my Note 9 (as recent as a few days ago), but on my Note 10+ I can only seem to get unanswered calls forwarding to Google Voicemail if I don't answer at all. If I decline the call it goes to Sprint Voicemail.
So for example call comes in. I let it ring 5 times and it forwards the call to my Google Voicemail. Now if the call comes in and I hit the decline call option, it goes right to my Sprint Voicemail. So the question is what is declining the call on the Note 10+ doing differently then declining the call on the Note 9.
Yes I did use the *73XXX-XXX-XXXX to setup noanswer call forwarding. *74XXX-XXX-XXXX doesn't work as when I set that and I hit decline call nothing happens at all, it actually breaks my phone from being able to decline the call.
I have sprint as well. I setup the same as you and it is working for me. Maybe try Update Profile and try again?
Open the phone app.
3 dots settings.
Supplementary services.
Call forwarding.
Mine is ATT but that is where the settings are for me to change that. Might be the same for you.
Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
T-Mo here and none of the conditional forwarding settings will accept a number on my 10+ 5G

Question Any way to disable incoming calls on LTE version?

I have my eSIM configured in my Pixel Watch LTE, and all is working fine so far. However, from time to time I'd look to have my little son wear the watch, when he is out and about alone by himself, so he can call me in case he gets lost, or I can find his location. Generally, this works, but the problem is that the watch also rings when I receive calls: The eSIM is a MultiSIM of my Vodafone contract, so it has the same number as mine in my main phone. Of course I don't want my son to receive my phone calls on the watch.
Is there any way of disabling incoming phone calls, or the the notifications / vibrations of them? Or, ideally, disabling the signaling of any incoming call except if it comes from a certain number (like my own landline)?

I haven't received the watch yet, but it should have Do Not Disturb settings which you should be able to configure as you wish. For instance, your son could receive calls from Starred contacts only, while all the others are blocked.
Edit: See here
" Do Not Disturb: Turn off all notifications and silence incoming calls. Press and hold to customize exceptions for priority and repeat callers, alarms, and media sounds. "
That's the perfect solution, thank you very much!
