The short answer is I don't know.
The long answer is there used to be an official maintainer for the N9 but he left the SAOSP team a few months ago. I learned to compile Roms after his departure and I started making unofficial community builds for the N9. I suspect the issue could have been introduced during that time period when no one was build for the N9. I was not aware of the bluetooth issue until one of the members alerted me. I'm not even sure why issue even exists since bluetooth works for all the other devices supported by the SAOSP team. With that said, I submitted a bug report for the bluetooth issue and the saosp team is working on it.
As a side-note, I would have liked it if bluetooth issue was fixed before I made a thread on XDA, but seeing that there are only a few AOSP
based ROMs that are updated regularly, I decided to share my builds since the SAOSP is a good ROM.

Other AOSP roms had that bluetooth issue too. Maybe you can cherry pick from one of their sources. You can take a look into Lollipopalooza or noobbuilds rom thread.

Hello. Any news about new build?

When I try to download the latest ROM it take me to basketbuild but it is just a white page and when I refresh it does the same thing. I've used a couple different browsers with the same result?

[ROM][AOSP][Unofficial]CarbonRom 2.0 bèta[4.3.1][odin][Oct 31]

Why choose for CarbonRom?
CarbonRom is an AOSP based rom. It also gives you a great option of customization. Reasons to go for CarbonRom are:
- AOSP based, s no bloatware or other stuff
- Great Customization options
- Nice look
- HALO
- ...
Current Version
CarbonRom 2.0 is still in early stages, it's Android 4.3, but not all features are implemented!
I won't manually search for all new features, just wait for an official 2.0 changelog when it is completed.
- Android 4.3
- HALO
- DSP Manager
- New battery icons
- stability and speed enhancements
- a million other little things as well - we basically don't even sleep anymore.
What is CarbonRom?
CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look at, build, and use our code on CarbonDev GitHub.
We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to the devs whose code that we have incorporated. Proper authorship has been maintained and can be viewed on our repository.
Special thanks also go to Slim Rom for some of their features, PA, AOKP, @FXP, and anyone else we may have borrowed commits from that hasn't been mentioned here. If you feel you have been unfairly left out, please - let us know.
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash! If you have questions, ask your fellow users or ask us in #teamcarbon on freenode IRC.

Download Carbon
All Carbon downloads and further information such as features, changelog, and FAQ can be found here in the second post of this thread.
I'll continue building nightlies daily in the week, and sometimes also in the weekends. I'll post the download links here, but I'll also try to make some sort of easier way in the future when my rom is stable and I'll be officially part of the Team Carbon maintainers.
Support
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!
3) Ask a question here. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
Who is the Carbon maintainer for your device?
For you guys, Xperia developer is me only, Krabappel2548. I'm the only one working for Xperia devices, maybe I'll add more devices to my support list soon. Any donations are highly appreciated, I'll always use them for my development, to buy new devices

It's used for hardware, server costs, etc - all the things that help us make Carbon better with every release. Your support means the world to us! Thanks a lot for the time released on ZL!!
I'll flash and feedback!!
Thank you!!
I had an issue where I couldn't access /cache, /system or /sdcard while in recovery, works fine in baked bean.
I love the bootloader image though, looks great.
I like the gesture lockscreen and the overall feel of the rom seems to be pretty cool.

Nice dev. Thanks for this rom. Will download and report later
Morning Guys,
after a day using the ROM so far, very fast and stable.
The issues I had are the same reported, on CWM I can't wipe cache, some times the PIE did not show (mine is configured to hide), but the stock nav shows and you are always covered, so not really a problem, the camera button works, but not all the time, and when you take a pic with flash it take some secs to process.
I was using the Free xperia project ROM before, I guess the camera botton was working, not sure, but the flash problem wans't happening.
Please if possible, someone, test the camera using flash, just to be sure that is not my phone problem.
Thaks a lot for the ROM, I'm enjoying pretty much, the Carbon settings are really easy to use.
The ROM is amazing.
Thanks.

[KK 4.4.4][ROM]Mackay ROM 4.9.13 (11-Oct-2014)

I have been sharing my CM7/CM9/CM10/CM10.1/CM10.2-based builds for some time in several thread, which culminated in the MackayROM. I continue now with KK4.4 from where I was for JB4.3. MackayROM is based on CyanogenMod sources, with several performance enhancements.
About Cyanogen: CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
If you run into errors, I may not be able to solve it!
If you know a solution to a problem, either upload it yourself to Gerrit Code Review or contact me through pm.
The ROM is based on Cyanogen sources with the following changes:
-Mackay Kernel:
-Set of cherries picked from gerrit (differing by the day)
-Some additional patches I did myself to the source code
Feature request are OK, but remember:
1. I try to stay close to stock
2. I will not include additional apps, unless they can be build from source
3. The time I spend on features depends on how much I like them myself
Although it is possible to enable ART, this is not advisable:
-Takes long to convert from Dalvik to ART on first boot
-Needs more RAM
-Can cause soft reboots
But off course, YMMV -> light users may have better luck
Changelog of 4.9.14 - 5-Nov-2014
-CM11.0 codebase of 3-Nov-2014
-TWRP updated to 2.8.1.0
Full changelog of 4.9.14 compared to stock CM11.0:
CM11.0 sources of 3-Nov-2014
Mackay kernel:
Separate kernel thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2532813
TWRP (2.8.1.0):
-Themed orange
-Run recovery-apps (zip files should be present in /system/mackay, launch them through advanced->run app)
Removed apps:
-VideoEditor & demo VideoFiles
vendor/cm:
-Adapt for custom MackayROM building (bootanimation, ROM&file name)
-Custom bootanimation (Thanks to Malcho)
vendor/samsung:
-Added scripts for Mackay Settings
hardware/samsung:
-F4k 720p patch for bigmem kernels
AriesParts (“Mackay Settings” in Settings menu):
Add mackay kernel settings options:
>WiFi PM mode selection
>BLX settings
>BLN activation
>Navbar selection
>Low RAM mode selection
For other projects (frameworks/base & Settings, check my github for the latest patches)
Coming from stock Samsung ROM/CM7:
-The safest way is to flash CM9 first and then flash Mackay ROM. Going directly from Samsung ROM/CM7 to Mackay ROM may lead to loosing IMEI.
Fresh install:
Can be flashed on top of any CyanogenMod build:
-Do a factory reset
-Flash ROM
-Flash gapps
-Reboot your phone
Update:
-Flash ROM
-Reboot your phone
(no wipes or other things needed, just flash & reboot)
-Custom kernels can be used only if specific for KK4.4
Credits:
-teamhacksung/pawitp for making CyanogenMod work on our ancient phone
-stratosk/DerTeufel/Mialwe for the inspiration I got from their kernels
-rootax for providing a high-speed server for high quality downloads
-Malcho for his kernel splash & bootanimation

I always build these ROMs myself from CM sources + my own additions to CM sources, so no need for "official" CM11 builds to enable my own ROMs to be build.

Thanks for KK rom :good: :good:
OP's link to Gapps contains five different builds- some with ART compatibility. Is there a preferred one? ART works/tested, or better stick to delvik for a little while?
A few things I noticed:
- If I select Performance settings from Mackay app, Settings force closes.
- Orientation tile is buggy, sometimes it seems to work, sometimes not.
The ROM is very snappy, thank you very much for your work!
Kasper_h installed this rom and I have a bug. When I want to enable high-speed data connections settings crashes me the error: com.android.systemui and closing forces. Framework to overloads.
Thanks for the rom, There isnt any bug list?
Installed on CM11 and works fine.No forced closure and fast enough to be a test.
so no separate kernel 0.600

Thanks.. can u please tell me which one for the N version. .

I noticed about signal strength too.. It shows like it's null :fingers-crossed:
Actually I feel about the performance too, it just get around 9,1k in Dalvik and 9,5k in ART, compared with CM11 which can reach upto 11k both Dalvik or ART.
Compared to golden-guy's performance, also slightly lower, eventhough like that, for the first release, it's great, so great!! :good:
I hope you'll fix problems tomorrow.. :good::good:

Great SlimKat for S3 Mini :victory: thanks Maclaw/Marcin :fingers-crossed:
Same problem here with the network. After two times clean install baseband is missing. I tried to set apn but get only a black screen in network settings. Same in phone status. I'll try tomorrow again with a new download. Finish for today.
Nope, no signal for me too. Reboot to recovery doesn't work correct. PIN is not asked after reboot. Shutdown also don't work, phone reboots. But it is a initial release, so no big thing these bugs thank you guys for slimkat, know you get it running!

Yes Yes Yes
can´t wait to get SlimKat 4.4 for my golden, hope the bugs will be fixed soon!!
Because of the "Reboot to recovery" and the other mentioned bugs, this problems happens because anything went wrong during the build-process of the kernel ... This can be caused by GCC Toolchain 4.9 ... If you want to solve it, do this steps:
Add these lines to the local_manifest of Slimkat:
<!-- Slim toolchain gcc and linaro -->
<project path="prebuilt" name="SlimRoms/android_prebuilt" remote="github" revision="kk4.4" />
Then do:
cd prebuilt/linux-x86/toolchain
git clone https://android.googlesource.com/pla...m/arm-eabi-4.6
Look in your build/core/tasks/kernel.mk and change the paths of the toolchain for compiling the kernel to the lines with "TARGET_KERNEL_CUSTOM_TOOLCHAIN" and use this lines instead of yours:
ifeq ($(HOST_OS),darwin)
************ARM_CROSS_COMPILE:=CROSS_COMPILE="$(cc ache) $(ANDROID_BUILD_TOP)/prebuilt/darwin-x86/toolchain/$(TARGET_KERNEL_CUSTOM_TOOLCHAIN)/bin/arm-eabi-"
else
************ARM_CROSS_COMPILE:=CROSS_COMPILE="$(cc ache) $(ANDROID_BUILD_TOP)/prebuilt/linux-x86/toolchain/$(TARGET_KERNEL_CUSTOM_TOOLCHAIN)/bin/arm-eabi-"
It should work now ... Hope I could help. First of all check the lines in build/core/tasks/kernel.mk because of the toolchain paths, they cause this issues mainly if I am right.
No more news?

Hi,
is there a reason why the slim roms (4.3.x und 4.4.x) don't get any further updates?
I like them best

i want know about battery life plz..
install instruction?

Can not change battery icon style it is stuck on Icon Portrait.
Hi @xNombre, just 2 quick questions regarding the the kernel used in your LOS release:
1- Does the kernel support HW Encryption? I remember on Havoc 2.9 (Android P) there was a port of 4.4 kernel with working HW crypto.
2- Will you release a standalone package of the infinity kernel in the future that can be used with other ROMs?
Thanks!
do we need jdc treble for this or what? since it "treble"
What about battery life?
can i flash other android 10 gsi based on this rom since it "treble"
immediately banned from telegram group right after joined. not even wrote a message or got a warning. interesting way to manage a community group.
i'll be around for feedbacks. thanks for your effort anyways.

1. AFAIR not yet because it's not merged on LOS.
2. Probably no because there are too many custom changes made (dt & vendor) and I don't like listening to moaning that something is broken. I want to release more interesting ROMs some day (Syb... uhh ekh... eria).

Hmmm, that's interesting question. I've only focused on making it fulfill all Android Q requirements concerning vendor separation (and such as APEX), not intended to make it GSI friendly. I guess there are still some incompabilities and you can't expect such and old device to be GSI friendly.

Test yourself, the biggest culprit about I can do nothing more is RIL. Maybe when Xiaomi releases Q for daisy, the blobs will make it better.

Not listed so not fixes, I thought it's clear.
New build could have some problems due to selinux change (dt2w or so) and I will push hotfix when I can.
