Font Freak: Bengali Fonts
If you are a rooted android user using Magisk, you're in luck. Some of you might remember the Bengali font modules that were in the Magisk Repo until a few days ago. They are no longer being allowed due a recent change in their policy. As such, I created a dedicated Repo for Bengali font modules. Download links are at the bottom of this post.
What is it?
It is an app in the form of a module for quicker and safer use. So, if you run into any problems, you can simply disable the module. NO RISK!
(P.S. As you can read from the title of this post, it will allow you to change the Bengali Font on your device. You can read more on that under how to use it. )
How to use it?
Simply install the module provided here. It will give you an app called "Font Freak". Open that app and you will find numerous font modules inside. Currently there are 12 font modules (as of 21 May 2019), but the number will only increase from henceforth.
What do I need to have?
Basic things really.
A rooted android device.
Magisk & Magisk Manager.
TWRP (Optional, but important).
Anything to be careful about?
YES! As explained in the description of each module inside the app, you cannot use multiple font modules at the same time. If you have activated two or more font modules at once, your device will go into a bootloop. But this is not deadly at all. You will need to install Magisk Manager for Recovery, which allows you to disable modules from TWRP recovery. Once you disable excess font modules, your phone will boot again.
Is this for OnePlus 6T only?
Not at all. This will work on any device meeting the requirements stated above.

See "How to use it" for your answer. As stated in the post, it is module that functions as a repo for other font modules. Read carefully please.

The "How to use it" section explains how to use the functions of the app, essentially "What it is". I know everyone knows how to use a module. I have not explained how to flash one of those.
The module systemlessly installs an "app" called Font Freak, which functions as a repo for font modules. That's what the module is. I think this was clear in the post as well.
If you want a specific answer to what it can do, isn't that already in the title of the post?

[Request] *Real* Dark Theme

Any chance to get a real dark theme that works on a Z3c?
I've seen plenty of dark themes, but they might have some brown or blue but 'm talking about real dark/black.
If you've ever used slimroms or carbon you know what I'm talking about

I posted here because:
1. It's a themes section (it's called Themes and Apps).
2. I've got a Sony device.
3. I can't find a section on xda where there are as many themes for sony devices as in this one.
4. I'll install cm as soon as we can unlock the Z3c bootloader without DRM issues.
However, it seems that I'm wrong with all my assumption - given that you are much more senior than me, maybe you can point me towards a more appropriate section of xda where I can ask my question, instead of telling me what not to do? (no irony/anger - I really mean it, any help is appreciated)
Thanks

There's not a method for restoring the DRM keys for the Z3c yet
and yes, I have tried on google play and other threads but can't find anything, hence the request here.
Anyhow, this is going nowhere, it seems.
cheers
Not really black, but it's dark.

You'll need to flash bigger Gapps package like Stock or Full
or
You can download these from apkmirror.com, copy them to /system/priv-app and give rw-r-r (644) permission and Reboot.
Good luck :good:
Btw, question thread shouldn't be in Development section

Na...I'll go back to MicroG as soon as Signature spoofing or Xposed comes for 14.1
That's one more reason why I love my Note 2 & ROM
If you want to use google dialer select
Dialer framework and google dialer both
✌

In the second part of your quote I didn't understand almost nothing of what you have written but if you mean "What's the purpose of the forum for you?" the answer is: Downloading Roms, helping users (if they post in the correct section ofc ), checking for news about this device and yes.. also posting a thread if I need some help (after looking on google if it has the answer for my problem).
Anyway.. There is no need to continue this useless discussion since you have found the answer for your problem. I'll not answer to your future replies.

Question Can I Change the System Font on a Rooted Pixel 6 Pro to a Custom Font?

I currently have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G, and it's a piece of junk - I HATE it (have problems making call; people hearing me when I'm using my Bluetooth earpiece; S-L-O-W data speeds, etc, etc), and I'm considering buying a Pixel 6 Pro. My question is, if I root it, is it possible to change the system font (so my change is pretty much system-wide) to a certain custom font that I like?
The font I like to use is called FuturaHandwritten. My Note 20 is rooted, and I changed the font by taking multiple copies of my preferred font, and renaming them Roboto; Roboto Bold; Roboto Light, etc, etc, and then replacing those fonts in the /system/fonts folder.
That works, but my Note 20 is running Android 10, because I seem to remember trying that on Android 11, and I ended up in a boot-loop, so I re-flashed 10 on it.
I've also been using an EdXposed module called Fonter, which allows you to change fonts on a per app basis (to help with apps that are being stubborn/resistant to using my preferred font), but that's an old module which I don't think has been updated since 2014, and it's slowly been getting less and less effective at what I want it to do. I'm also not real familiar with LSposed and Zygisk, but I'm under the impression that's what I'll need to use on a rooted Pixel 6 device, and I'm thinking my Fonter module isn't compatible with LSposed and Zygisk?
Does anyone else know if this will work on a Pixel 6 Pro, running Android 12? Or, is there some other method of changing the font system-wide?
Thanks!
You can checkout Androidacy and their font manager Magisk module. It allows you to select from numerous fonts to install, and even change emojis if you'd rather have a different style.
Check out this page and then read up on Font Manager.
There are custom ROMs like crdroid which has font personalisation options, but I'm not sure about your custom font

Just flash in Magisk. Quick word of advice be sure to remove installed font package and reboot before flashing a new one. You may end up in a bootloop otherwise.

Yeah, I like it a lot. I'm a very visually-stimulated person, and I hate the look of boring, standard fonts like Roboto. For many, many years, my preferred font was everyone's Most-Hated Font: Comic Sans MS. But, several years ago, I somehow happened upon FuturaHandwritten, and I've been using it ever since. I've even got my Windows 10 registry on my laptop modified to use that font just about everywhere!
It should be possible

Question Need help disabling app detecting root on Samsung S22

Hello everyone,
I'm new to rooting and I could use some guidance regarding how to prevent apps from detecting that my device is rooted. I have a Samsung device and I've already tried using Island by following this guide here. However, that did not seem to do the trick.
Additionally, I've explored Magisk's built-in Deny List feature, but it hasn't solved the issue for me.
I am based in Singapore and the app in question is Singpass. I have read comments from other forums such as this and this but am not sure if the methods still work. If they do, could anyone help me with a step-by-step guide? Also, would this method work for any and every app?
I've also heard about Magisk Alpha, but I'm not sure how to get started with it. If anyone could provide some instructions or point me towards a reliable guide, I would greatly appreciate it. However, I must admit that I'm not very familiar with technical jargon, so I hope the guide isn't too complex.
I need this app to function as I need to sign in to government apps for official reasons in late June.
You can't hide the fact Android is got rooted, if this is true. It's easy for every app, so also payment / banking apps, to detect whether Android is got rooted or not.
If you had read the Forum Rules, you would have noticed that we have device specific sections. This is covered under Rule 5.
As a courtesy, we will move your post to the correct area.
Is your device the S22, S22+, or S22 Ultra?
