CPU fan continues spinning after shutting down the system with AMD Rx 5700 graphic - AMD

After the system is turned off, the CPU fan continues to rotate at a very low speed.
I have observed this problem in two PCs that I have assembled myself. I will mention the specifications of both below. Solutions I have tried but the problem is not solved:
1- Change in power settings of Windows 10 including disabling sleep mode and hibernating.
2- Installing the latest version of system drivers.
3- Update motherboard firmware to the latest version.
4- I tested the PCI Express settings in all 2-3-4x modes in the BIOS settings.
Important note: After removing the graphics card, the problem will be solved

Hello, the problem you mention seems to me to be more related to the power options of Windows 10. Check in the control panel, power options and check if the "fast startup" box is checked, if it is checked uncheck that box. With that it should be resolved.

[Q] Kernel Frequency Stuck at Max

I am running Jedi ROM, and have tried several different Kernels but they all have the same issue:
The CPU frequency is always stuck at the max frequency.
I have tried adjusting the CPU using both Antutu and Rom Toolbox, but there is no difference.
I need some advice and guidance as to how to fix this.
Some digging around seems to indicate that its an issue with android.process.media from source /system/app/SecMediaProvider.apk
for the first 10 minutes of boot, this goes crazy, and uses insane resources.
Tried killing the task, and after a little bit it turns back on again! AHH
Found the problem. My efforts to FULLY maximize the usage of my note 2, I had installed external high-res textures for n64oid. There are over 7000 files at a size of just under 900mb. It takes a while to go through those.
Option A: deal with it so i can use external textures
Option B: remove the external textures
Option C: go with either A or B and work to find a solution that will make the media scanner totally ignore the folder and all subfolders (.nomedia only applies to the folder it is in, not the subdirectories)

zenfone 2 thermal shutdown

I don't know whether this is a bug or a hardware problem
Model: 4GB RAM
Baseband version: 1527_5.0.44.1_1027, 1527_7.0.20.0_0723
Build number: LRX21V.WW-ASUS_Z00A-2.20.40.139_20151104_2652
Problem:
My zenfone 2 4gb ram , 64GB model ( not rooted) was working without any problems until the last update. Now, my phone is shutting down automatically due to a " thermal shutdown event" I have noticed sometimes that the cpu temperature is really high at times say 133F but high temperatures are not causing thermal shut down. However, I have noticed that the phone shutdowns automatically even when the temperatures are around 90F. The problem is encountered while charging (i am using the asus charger) and also during light to normal usage of the phone.
I suspect that the thermal sensor might be damaged or theres a chance that this is a bug with the new 2.20.40 build. I really am not sure. I need advice/help in fixing this problem
Thanks
How to recreate: This is a random event. I did not suceed in taking screenshots of the problem
Carrier(s): T mobile in Sim 1, Sim 2 is empty
Wi-Fi Frequency (if connected): 2.4 GHz / 802.11ac
Hi @Shhyam
I had .139 version on my phone.
No such problems with me.
This definitely is not a bug.
As you suspect it might be a malfunctioning thermal sensor.
Maybe you can do a backup of your data and perform a factory reset and see the result.

Redmi Note 4 MTK Nikel overheat and Auto reboot after change thermal policy to 120c

Hello xda. i need your help.
as you all know that the redmi note 4 mediatek version is lagging alot when you play even only mid game processing aplication. when i play games for like 5 minute it starts lagging allready. what i know is that when this device temperature gets 45 degrees, the CPU hotplug will lower the CPU frequency or turn off the other CPU cluster to prevent the device gets overheating and drains too much battery. but this will cost out our gaming performance and cause lagging issue.
so i've modified the thermal policy to bypass the CPU hotpug to get maximum performance out of this device but it only last for 10 minutes and it auto reboots when it gets overheating, but i dont care if this device gets hot because it is common for a mediatek chipset
You can do it by editing the build.prop and change the line ro.build.type=user to ro.build.type=eng and then go to mtk engineering mode and change the thermal policy setting.
for me this device is like not capable of doing anything more than being just like an old device except for whatsapp and other social media. it's like the device has a powerfull processor but only for decoration.
The only problem now is that the device will auto reboot everytime it gets overheating and needs to cool down in order to be used again. and my only question is how to prevent the the device auto reboot when we use the 120deg C thermal ?

processor not running at full power

Is it a known issue that HTC One m9 phones are underclocked to prevent thermal problems? Because when I open up cpuz to see what frequency the cores are running at, the highest core 0-3 go to is 1.5 gigahertz. Core 4-7 never go higher than 700ish megahertz and only 2 of them are ever running at the same time. I have a custom rom installed that enables Vulcan support, but even before flashing the rom, cpuz was showing the same results mentioned above. Power saver is turned off, there are no programs that are changing the core frequency in any way, and high performance mode is turned on in developer options in settings.
Any suggestions on how to possibly unlock core 4-7 frequencies to go all the way to the advertised 2 gigahertz? Or did I just turn on a setting that somehow affects possessor max speed?
Yo boy i have a answear for you in kernel auditor go to cores and make sure you disable core 8, core 6 and core 3 and maybe set the governor to deadline and irq blance to 0
NOW you have to go to vendor folder in system or root folder / . and delete thermal.conf or so at 10 you need to go system root /vendor and delte the file reboot and now you have unlocked full performance
